Due to his achievements, he earned a Macy Faculty Scholarship to improve patient-centered health education at UCI.

Dr. Sharon Bord is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Maryland, USA.

She has a focus on both undergraduate and graduate medical education, and is a member of the Teaching College, a group of faculty members in the Department of Emergency Medicine dedicated to educational endeavors for residents and medical students.

Dr. Michael Lazarus is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
He obtained his MD from the University of the Witwatersrand School of Health Sciences, South Africa, and trained at the Washington University School of Medicine. In 2003, he joined the faculty at UCLA and currently serves as the Medical Director of the UCLA Hospitalist Section.
He has won various teaching awards, such as the Serge & Yvette Dadone Clinical Teaching Award, and was featured in the Los Angeles Magazine's Top Doctors Guide in 2021.

It is a very important matter. Profesor teached very clearly and simple. Focused in the patient and statistics. Congratulations.
Some good incite was provided but too much political propaganda overshadowed the incite.

Excellent review of Family Medicine with review questions. I viewed it over the course of one day. The content is easy to follow and the presenter is extremely knowledgeable. Appropriate for nurse practitioners although the content was geared toward physicians

He is a great teacher and shows the baseline level of investigation and treatment but also shows when one needs to jump to a higher level with acute problems.

The lecturer is very eloquent and pleasant. He also points to facts which may be confusing and harder to memorize, making it easier in remembering. He gives great examples to stress the importance of the information in his lectures.

It's has really been great and productive except I had to go check Neuroanatomy because I am not yet well conversant with Neuroanatomy. I don't know how I can really grasp it! I like it, but I think he need to explain more about CVA and anatomical relation . Some times I find it difficult to understand the accent.

I watched it to reinforce and know a little bit more about stroke besides the information that I already read in books or articles, because in lecturio I got more facts that I don't find anywhere else. And I would recommend it to my friends in med school since you can watch the videos or answer the quiz before you read about some topic or after, so you feel sure about what you know.

I liked it very much as an introduction to CVA and to bring it all together. I watched the entire series before studying with textbooks to fill in the blanks. Carlo Raj is making sure I know what's important. If you expected to be finished with CVA after watching a few videos you will be disappointed no matter what you choose to watch.

Slow but comprehensive but not completely enticing. I dont think that this is sufficient for the boards.
Very good so far. I would like however more more emphasis on orthopedics.

A high-yield overview and good summary of common acute care family medicine presentations. Not incredibly difficult, and could benefit from potentially more in-depth therapeutics discussions.
These videos are very efficient and useful for step 2 and so many other medical exams too.... Want to have some more videos from other clinical subjects ..
Not sure if there will further talks on haemorrhagic stroke but significant omissions evident. For example target for BP lowering, discussion of management of complications incl vasopasm, raised ICP, seziure prevention. Work up of patient wasn't clear ie the use of lumbar punctures in high clinical suspicions but ct equivocal
I enjoyed the series on ischaemic stroke but it would have been great to discuss in more depth the secondary management of stroke in particular blood pressure targets and agents with the most supportive evidence for use (e.g ACE-I). I also note that there was an omission about the best way to manage BP in the acutely hypertensive patient post stroke. Despite theses as always good taster of the topic. I appreciate the challenge of work that goes into producing these contents
Good table but a discussion of subsequent investigations to further characterise the nodule is warranted. For example following up a cold nodule with U/S guided FNA . The algorithm wasn't took clear for example starting with thyroid function test, followed by iodine uptake and further imaging/biopsy
The lecture was concise and to the point. Dr Carlo's Style of lecturing always provides the right amount of emphasis, and his use of anecdotes help in visualising the patient. Any Iecture by Dr. Carlo Raj Is always highly recommended.
