really useful lecture.
By S C. on 07. August 2021 for Celiac Disease (Sprue): Definition and Treatment

clarified some of my misconceptions like the type of nutritional def associated with the condition and which parts of the bowel is affected. I am unsure why people gave it 3 star.

Excellent lecture
By Jalil Z. on 12. February 2021 for Celiac Disease in Children

Excellent lecture on an important topic in pediatrics, well explained, easy to remember. Just my colleague, I did not know about the skin manifestation.

I like that everything is very well explained and we are given only the information we need to know. Thank you. I didn't know about the herpetiformus dermatitis, for some reason they don't always mention it in our books.

Role of biopsy?
By Hamed S. on 09. March 2017 for Celiac Disease (Sprue): Definition and Treatment

A superficial talk about an important contributor to malabsorption. I think it would have been good to discuss why we need to assess for the prescence of IgA to begin with. What the role of HLA is in the disease. Moreover, the importance of biopsy as well as the long term complication of celiac disease include osteoprosis, neurological impairment and enteropathy associated T-cell lymphoma.
