Wonderful lecture explaining a difficult topic. I love Dr. Raj lectures! Looking forward to more Dr. Raj.
Excellent simple way to think about a confusing topic! I finally have it straight in my brain.
It was informative lecture, the way of explaining the idea and make away to simplify informations was perfect Also putting every information in a clinical scenario was helpful I wish that doctor raj make lectures for all the subjects, his way in explaining is so so special, and he keeps it easier to keep the information for a long term
The overall experience is good but i think there is room for development

he is very good, and fun! thankyou doctor carlo raj. best regards, med stud from indonesia
I think that Dr Raj is simply amazing because he has the ability to make even the most intricated concepts clear and easy to understand!
Very good lecture, where guidelines for each condition are enhanced.
This lecture helped me understand the fluid and electrolyte content clearly and I was able to pass my exam
great lecture series thanks a loot, helped me to truly understand the things going on in the nephron plus some pharma and great pathology overview ,highly recommended
A lot of repetitions which make it perfect to memorize, normal speed of talking - not too fast, not too slow
This was explained in n easier to understand way then how my instructor explained it.
Couldn’t be done better thank you dr raj ,very helpful
I’m using the nursing videos for pharm and I’m learning soo much , and I love she gives memory tools and mnemonics
It is concise and understandably summarises all the content. Thank you!
The lectures are very good, but the speaker is a little confusing sometimes despite trying to repeat himself and use sometimes a language that sounds too simplistic
I believe the direction (left to right and right to left) needs to be reversed
I love Rhonda Lawes!!!!!! She is amaaaazing!! Such a fantastic teacher, the way she condensed such complex topics and makes it so much easier to understand. Can’t thank her enough. Also the slides are brill ????
This guy is awesome!, clear and straight forward. I love the way he motivates me to just keep the important data and let go unnecessary details.
I didn’t finished yet. But I love the way she teaches. Very repetitive and this really helps to stick in my brain. Thank you Cici (RTT student)
Explained the process very well! Definitely helps out when trying to find out what is going on in the patient.
Dr Raj is very wonderful! He made the most difficult topics to look simple and easy to understand. Nice lectures
It’s to repetitive and the content is quite basic for a medical student and there is not a course of fluids for med students in the platform.
Best lecture. I like the video.I read the slide with this lecture that help me to understand the our lecture.
I find Dr .Raj to be energetic, fun and I appreciate him taking the time to teach us concepts and foundations as opposed to blindly memorizing facts. Enjoying his series thoroughly!
Rhonda is an awesome lecturer..easy to digest information with her.
This is the Best explanation on ABG I have ever seen so far. Better than what nursing school taught me.
very engaging. Rhonda is able to make the concept much more clear and understandable
Very helpful. Easy to understand and retain information for future use.
Clearly explained the ABGs from the nursing perspective, but useful to all medical students. Thanks
I loved the lecture, I learned things I didn’t know. Like it very much.
He is the best teacher I've ever had, thank you Thad Wilson for all. Definitely I recommend this course.
Me gustan las imágenes que usan para explicar. Me gustaría que hubiera arrancado con compartimientos líquidos del cuerpo y luego el resto.
Amazing, knowledgable and informative content. It translate well to the British nursing course.
Excellent clear concepts wisdom distilled.well explained to the point.
Great thanks to Professor Wilson. The notions in renal physiology were explained way better than anyone else?
The content is great, it's just hard to understand. Dr Raj knows a lot, but it's hard to understand everything. So it's like a Ferrari without wheels, you have the power, but it struggles getting you somewhere. It's not the ideal scenario with something like this, like pathology, and because of the amount of content in the program. Like I said, other than that, great.
It is great how Dr. Raj integrates pathophysiology with clinical correlations, including pharmacology and its mechanisms.
good visual slides, good summary slides, repeats information in different ways for understanding and good presentation for memory aid (fluid in inappropriate places).
Dr. Raj is a very good teacher. He always finds a fast way to bring relevant review information, as well as clinical references.
Clear and concise ! I really liked it. Thank you very much.
I really like deeper videos about renal physiology with a Little bit more information
The best lecturer I have ever met. What a gifted teacher. Words cannot explain. An asset to Lecturio family. Thank you teacher.
She explains this so clearly and helps you understand. She is a great teacher!
Good presentation and good pronunciation for being foreign. Thanks for the difference between urea and uric acid.
I like it but because of COVID the exam was online and the paper was beyond difficult. Renal was part of the scope but very few renal questions so much so That, I can’t even remember doing any.
I think it summarizes the most important concepts one should one about renal physiology, giving good examples and also using graphics that help in understanding them better.
Was good lecture .........but can you expand more on diagnosis and treatment
Great case, and good way of explaining things. Very good
The explanations are very good and concise. Nonetheless, specially in these topics, we need to see more images, there are a lot of glomerular damage patterns even for the same disease (e.g. FSGN) and I do not think there were enough images to learn them. Also, a pointer is needed, Dr. Raj described numerous glomerular lesions and sometimes it was difficult to follow his descriptions as he didn’t have a pointer to help him locate those lesions. Even with these problems I really liked how Dr. Raj really emphasized the diseases patterns and reminded them almost in every video (E.g. SubEPIthelial in PSGN).
I LOVE the lecture but i'm having difficult time understanding it. I had to watch and stop and write to understand it.. maybe more diagrams? or break it down :)
Dr. Raj Explains topic with finesse and maintains the balance with his quirky dialogues.
Dig deep! These lectures make you think! Very deep content and worth the work of understanding them.
La explicación es bastante entendible y dinámica. Los ejemplos utilizados realmente hacen que el tema sea fácil
Very pleasant pace of lecture and clear explanation. Also love the quick and personal response on the questions on the forum. Really makes me feel like I am in the lecture hall itself.
not really engaging, hard to hear and understand. Didn't understand some of what he was saying
Organized and informative. Made me remember the key points easily. A pointer is needed to illustrate the graphics.
very clear, and easy to remember all the points, and it is very helpful to understand
dr raj is really good at making the lectures interesing, fun and informative.
This lecture is quick, has good examples and is straight to the point.
Dr Thad Wilson is a great physiology teacher i never understood renal physiology this much before! thanks Lecturio
Great presentation, complete and educational. Questions are very helpful. Thank you
Perfect , Well explained , excellent teacher , The best pathology course alv
I wish he was on my Med school as my teacher , But Thanks god lecturio Exists and now he is our pathology teacher
Brilliant! Dr. Raj focuses on understanding and establishes foundation knowledge for you to build on. Extremely helpful.
The video lectures helped me organize the information I already knew and filled the gaps in between. I appreciated how Dr. Wilson was concise and straight to the point with his lectures.
excillent lecture ,Teacher and presentation ,Just recommend to use pointer when Explain on dighram .
Very complicated topic that it's not explain with enough clarity
The videos are fine, but it’s not enough to understand the material for the first time; it is just an adjunct to the lecture I guess.
thank you Dr. Raj very good series , you explained it well and repeated the information a lot to be memorized
Profesor Wilson makes hard physiological processes easy to understand and deduct.
B12 is produced by bacteria. Almost all vegans know we have to consume it with supplements, I heard it a thousand times already. We don't need any animal products to have enough B12, stop spreading misconceptions. How about telling about how eating too much purine (daily meat) may causes gout? It's much more common.
The best teacher , his sense of humor make the lectures more fun
In the beginning I did not understand some of the topics, but after number of repetions I understood the subjects explained. Send questions in nephrology and other subjects. My feedback is positive even though at first it was not so.
The pathology course is so good, excellent explanation , to tell you the truth, I love it !! You have everything about Pathology USMLE under Lecturio to your success.
The topics were explained clearly. Confusing topics/concepts were made less confusing. I actually enjoyed learning this subject.
As always I enjoy and learn so much from you Dr. Raj
Enjoyable videoes that are so illustrative and well-explained. Thank you very much.
It's always useful to see a good review of hard subjects like this.
Most lectures about nephron segment is kind of boring. But I really like Dr. Raj's passionate and clear explanation, and the way he sophisticated getting knowledge connected with clinical application. It's the best nephron segment lecture ever.
Awesome lecture. It was so clear to listen to. Dr. Shukle has provided a great presentation that is easy to understand.
One of the most confusing concept is explained very clearly in a short video!!
All of her explainations are clear, concise and well rounded .
pasto colombia. Gran resumen, los cuadros resumen facilita mucho recordar y el Quiz al final de cada tema me ayudaba a reforzar lo que aprendí
Finally I understand the concept or the BUN/Cr ratio and the difference between prerenal and intrinsic
He explained many problem in glomerulonephritis very clearly. I 'll appreciate that.
Doctor, you are great! I've been struggling with nephrology for some time, and after trying many sources and attending multiple classes, I can finally say I found something that really makes everything very clear. I'm having some really beautiful days studying now. Thank you!
Ugly way of explaining. Weird pronounciation. Not so clear explanation.
There was a profound description of physiopathology, with emphasis on the clinical elements that helped lead to diagnosis. There was a lack of precision regarding diagnostic cut-off values, treatment and follow-up.
the doctor really simplified the whole thing...i'll find this much easier to remember
This is a constant struggle with a critical or elderly patient Very thorough review.
This was hard for me to undersand and now I get it THANKS!!!
Love how he can make something difficult into an easy learning experience. Excellent clases, with funny quotes that make you smile.
Excellent and understandable! Not confusing at all and goes straight to the point!
Lectures are short and precise, highlighting the most critical points
Succintly summarised with contstant references back to other relevant topics
The lecture is awesome, It really helped me understanding Glomerulonephritis. The lecturer is excellent, slides are excellent, repeating was crucial for this topic. I would recommend this to all medical students, who are struggling to understand Glomerulonephritis. Very Helpful.
Very clear and thoroughly explained! You made a complex concept very simple. Thank you!
thank you so mush it was helpful thank you so mush it was helpful
thank you so mush it was helpful thank you so mush it was helpful
I love the way Carlo teaches what may seem as complex concepts so simply. easy to understand and with such humor. I am enjoying this lecture series. Can listen to him all day. Thank you Carlo.
The content of this course was fairly comprehensive and Professor Wilson does a good job of explaining most of the content. The quiz questions are also useful though sometimes poorly worded. I really liked the last few lectures on the more clinical practicalities of the content we had just learned. The course is arranged in a way that makes it somewhat difficult to follow sometimes. I had to go away and make sure i was read up fairly well on the kidney before i could understand enough to watch through all the lectures and i feel a better introduction to the kidney and how its anatomy and physiology are arranged and interconnect would have been useful. I think a section regarding the interaction of pharmacology and renal physiology would also have been a nice touch. All in all, worthwhile once you can begin to understand it
Great series on the Kidneys! Informative, not too content heavy.
I loved the questions attached with this lecture, very appropriate and I feel more confident in this area now.
i like the lecture bcz its so organised and so useful thank you all
Dr. Raj is great! His presentations are interesting, to the point and you DO learn, even when somewhat tired. I enjoy and look forward to seeing these lectures.
The video lectures helped me organize the information I already knew and filled the gaps in between. I appreciated how Dr. Wilson was concise and straight to the point with his lectures.
In my country ( Cambodia ), we don't have USMLE exam but this course helped me to be more understandable and more practical in my career.
u just made renal pathology easy for me loved the tables and algorithms u made thanks Dr.Carlo Raj
Simple to follow, made staying with professors during lecture much easier!
Thorough and patient presentation of an often problematic topic to a lot of students and practising physicians
Very knowledgeable and soothing voice. Helps with remembering things more efficiently
Thank you Dr Raj!!!! finally understand this complicated topic. Dr Raj is the best.
Dr Raj is definitely the best always make things appear so simple
The lecture is great, really informative, loved it. The quiz has one of the questions as, what structure is NOT located within the sinus and the answer is given as ureter when the answer should be the calyx. As the ureter passes through the hilum and out the sinus, but the calyx does not exit the kidney.
This class helped me a lot, thank you very much. I value his effort very much, he is a great teacher, many successes. Greetings from Peru
Great, succinct, and well taught lecture. I did not find it confusing.
Amazing! I really get the material, Dr. Raj! I love how you keep reinforcing the material during each lecture!
Thank you so much, Dr. Raj for making me understand pathology concepts! You truly are an amazing teacher!!!
Great lecture. Absolutely the best for boards, Keep up the great work
everything 4 boards are covered and the narrator really gives main road of the subject
Temarios muy importantes. Videos con explicasiones que ayuda mucho para aprender sobre el campi de la medicina.
Great lectures. I like how Dr. Raj integrates other renal pathologies into his teaching of renal failure, rather than treating renal failure as a completely separate entity.
One of the best Lecturers on lecturio hands down. Defined one of the best explanations I’ve gotten on this topic
Simple way to understand the RAAS system and the meds associated with it.
very good explanation, cleared my concepts. Great visual. thumbs up!
As always, Dr. Raj’s lectures are clear, concise, and memorable. He has a unique, honed talent for explaining this material. I have been in school for a long time, and had many professors. I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Raj is the best medical lecturer ever formed.
His fluid, conversational presentation style really makes it stick. I do not want my classmates to know about him.
I don't like the use of acronyms when speaking because it is very distracting. Important content is all in the lecture which is a good thing, but I'd much rather use the pathoma videos for this topic.
Very helpful, succinct and easy to understand. Lecturer is excellent.
It was great because I achieved to understand in detail a very complex topics. Thanks
The instructor is knowledgeable and makes the lectures fun. I love him.
Detailed, well thought out and well described. You won't regret listening to Dr. Pickering.
Great lecture series. Very in depth and it ties physiology, pathology, and pharmacology all together
The lecturer does a great job at keeping the presentation interesting, however he rushed over several points in the topics to the point in which he ignored some of the information present in his slides. Also, it feels out of place when he jumps to different topics that have little to nothing to do with the present lecture. Finally, the lecture feels SO rushed that he missed key aspects of the pathology of every desease he talked about, especially Potter Sequence and its etiologies.
i like his fun attitude to teaching. It works for me!
Great for helping understand renal physiology and putting it all together! Dr. Wilson is clear and explains the concepts well.
very good lecture, concise and high yield. very helpful for the boards
This guy is indeed the new professor Goljan. I am speechless. So much material covered.
Liked but another lecture not opened yet so not liked
I liked it very much!!! Thank you for your amazing job AGAIN!!! :-)
Great lecturer who is very knowledgeable about the subject matter & pitch. Pace is also good but needs to work on pronunciation of certain words. keep up the good job.
clear teaching and repetition, thanks. Learnt a lot. Clinically useful. thanks
He teaches just not to pass our boards, but to become greater physicians! Dr. Goljan should be proud, this man is God sent!
Brief and to the point with the material. The visual was also quite helpful
Helped me a lot understanding this subject! Carlo Raj's videos har really good.
the teacher is not teaching that much elaborative but then also it is better than most of the time hope it will get better
Best lecture i have ever seen..concise with high yield topics.
amazing, thanks to lecturio I can revise very fast and this will make ma a better doctor
Good very good,I like the lectures.Good very good,I like the lectures. Good very good,I like the lectures.
He's very detailed and slow-paced. Making it very easily understandable. I've had physiology for a whole semester, and first after watching his videos, I've finally started to understand the whole picture of each system.
very nice lecture and good tips. i should follow you earlier
This was a good course because the lecturer gave examples and explanations.
Great way of teaching, I am Impressed by this and learnt it
The material is valuable because it's clear and concise, but dr. Raj has an annoying and hard to understand accent and weird manner of teaching.
I really like Dr. Raj lectures but, why these videos don't have subtitles?
I thought this was the worst taught course Lecturio has to offer. I was left confused most of the time. Fortunately Ive used lecturio for other courses and was very satisfied so I will still recommend this program.
This lecture left me confused at exactly the interplay between these two systems. Perhaps its the diagram. I was lost after Decreased Osmolality. I think that is where this lecture goes down hill.
Very informative and organized , keep the good work Thank you
This is about the best lectures I have had all my life. I like it very much because the lectures are very explicit, The approach is fantastic. And the tutors are very experienced. They have a full grab of the subjects they teach. The team is like a conglomerate of experts from all fields of medical science. It has really helped in my studies in medical school. With Lecturio, there's no dull moment. It's actually a huge privilege for those of us studying Medicine and Surgery in Africa. I recommend Lecturio for everyone who want to excel in medical practice all over the world! Kudos to all the erudite tutors in the house! Hope to see more of you in Lecturio videos. You're all wonderful! From: APATA OLABANJI SYLVESTER COLLEGE OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, LAGOS, NIGERIA. WEST AFRICA. (e-mail: olabanjiapata@yahoo.com)
Lecturio is a solid and highly efficient learning Platform. Dr. Raj is a seasoned communicator, and has just the right balance of serious professional demeanor, clarity of speech and concepts, and good humor you want in a Teacher. This lecture, like the others I’ve watched so far, is excellent stuff!
Good explanations, proper highlighting of important points, abundant compare, contrast and recall
I understand, but I think, the lesson needs drawings and diagrams, but is very well, thanks
Great course but would be great if you could extend it to urology soonest
Congratulations once more, Dr. Raj. Learning is much funnier when lecturers have a good sense of humour. Explaining the management of Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus is not an easy task, but putting humour the middle of that is even harder. You succeeded very well in both tasks. I liked it specially when you said "go to the clinic, kickbutt and be hoisted by your collagues" after discussing the wise intersection of topics between pathology (bipolar disease, and its chronic lithium treatment) and pharmacology (amiloride). Ingenious!
It would be nice if the material was presented in a less intense manner. It feels more like he is prepping football players for a big game. It is very distracting. Perhaps, if the lecture didn't feel so choppy it would be more enjoyable.
Dr Raj is super cool!!!! I finally understood the concepts of transport and the respective pathologies!
I loved how you dissected the topic so clearly, making clear distinctions between the different classes of drugs, how they work, where they work, why we use them and who needs them. GREAT lecture.
Dr. Shukle is amazing. His lecture is so clear and "pin points" what we need to know. Thanks for your help !
Please replace Dr. Raj. I feel like I am being preached to and not reached! I believe he knows the subject matter but his delivery is not nice.
Dr Wilson is very good as a public speaker. He brings just the right amount of humor and he takes complicated topics and makes them easy to understand. I wish there were more practices questions to the quizes.
It needs more clinical correlation with diseases in the IV fluids For example, when to use normal saline or when to use dextrose this will make our understanding better
The lectures are clear and concise. Highly recommended to all!
Explained easily and good diagrams. Good at pointing out key concepts.
great great lecture!! thank you so much Dr. Raj :) one of the best lecture i have ever watched.. you made learning so much fun :)
Great couse. Detailed, but made simple. I thought it was very useful and great that there were a bit more questions than what i've seen in some of the previous series i've been watching. I would definently recomend it to others. I study veterinarian medicin, so i would ofcourse have loved it if you also made courses for that, because i still have to study the species differences from my book after watching the series - but it is great that I can get the main principles from your lectures it truly does help a lot.
Hi I liked it because it's concise and clinically related.I think more pictures of patients gross and microscopic demonstrations will be of great benefit. Also, more emphasis to differentiate them from glomerual diseases is encaraged
Clear explanation given by sir. He explains everything very clearly. Love his lectures ????
I enjoyed this lecture because the physiology was linked into clinical practice giving it context. Good use of questions as well.
What an amazing teacher, and just about right amount of information.
I would definitely recommend this course. Very concise yet informative - Dr. Raj provides you with all the pertinent information.
Loved these lectures! They are all I've hoped for. Profesor Wilson explains everything so well and has helped me a lot so far.
very good.it is one of the best video of cardiology.
Did good job explaining some of the expected changes, but a poor job at others and simply stated direction of arrow without explanation. Overall, a good lecture but definitely room for more detail to be discussed. Also, very surprised effects of acute blood loss/trauma was not covered.
Great presentation, great explanations. At the end, finally, everything fits into their place! wonderful.
I felt it lacked detail of specific transporters, and no references to any diseases or drug MOAs. Not very detailed for medical review/test prep.
Dr Raj is outstanding, and these lectures are excellent. These are perfect for preparing for medical exams. Detailed, in depth, and concise, I am hugely impressed.
I like use Dr. Raj lecture series as my adjunct professor to my course work. I am visual learner and I supplement my readings with as many free lectures available.
very good explanations helped me to understand easily. Recommend watching it.
I love this subject and the professor. Clean explanations and short videos helps me stay focused.
Going through this lecture in its entirety helped me improve in this subject. I stuck with the program, and it payed off.
I think if you're looking for a very detailed explanation of the system, I think this video is perfect and it goes at a very good pace too. I only needed an specific amount of information, so I ended up watching a video that was too specific for me to use.
The talk was interesting but no clear explanation of how PKD gene causes cysts moreover no discussion over management of these patients
Clear and concise, concepts were explained in enough detail and slowly enough to follow.
Dr. Shunkle provides a great explanation of the RAAS. The lecture follows nicely along with my book and studies.
Absolutely fantastic. Very well explained. I retained everything from this lecture.
Very informative, I am currently in nursing school and I don't even need to read my text book except for the section of nursing care. Carlo Raj is amazing at teaching my favorite instructor here in lecturio! thanks!
The lecture is enough detailed so one does not fall behind compared to others who choose to read about this topic. The lecturer speaks slow and calm, and he is very articulate.
The images and lecture format are very helpful, but I get very distracted every time this professor mis-speaks or stumbles on the lecture. I'm not sure why the lecture is posted with these errors since they can be confusing when you're learning the material for the first time.
thank you for the lecture! I really like how you repeat multiple times the important key facts. Also the presentation with comparisons and simple key facts instead of too much material is really nice. The best thing, you actually made me think through the whole lecture compared to just passively listen.
Excellent. The explanation is clear and concise and so are the graphics which with he explains. Wish I had this when i was taking physiology courses (in comparison to now that I am using it to review for the equivalency exam in Spain). USE IT.
Very concise & straight to the point I am glad I stumbled into this creative site.
Incredibly clear, natural lecture style. Excellent companion to my textbook.
Dr. Wilson explains complex concepts clearly and the slides are simple and not cluttered.
It is very good, I like the power point slides and picture etc.
He really slows it down and simplifies a topic ive always had so much confusion about. Thanks Dr. Wilson!
