knee is a very important joint and this lesson is too short to cover the ligaments.
The instructor is not easy to understand, not sure i learned much from him
the accent that the prof. has used is not 100% understandable.
i love how he gave a detail information about the course with little time while still making clear to understand

Dr. Pickering covers the osteology very well. He is thorough and straight to the point. Well done.
I really enjoy watching these videos. The way dr. Pickering chops the information into little pieces to make it easier to comprehend. I also think he puts more emphasis on the structures that are clinically relevant. It's great how he uses the illustrations to guide us through the structures, however the quality of the illustrations are very poor and too small.
simple and satisfying ,good information and pictures ,the quiz is very useful
This is just fantastic. It's easy for one to understand
I really like the mode of teaching used. It's easy for one to understand the topics. The videos are short hence increasing ones morale to cover the topics. However, the admins should try and add dentistry programmes like oral biology in lecturio
Quite informative learning shared here. I will only ask if more details are added
The lecture is well taught and the materials are organized and easy to understand
WooO! If I pass all through in my intermediate examination, Lecturio is the season! ( After God )
Dr. James has good English tone. And his slides so clear! All my Friends should know them about Lecturio, I hope to get premium soon!
It's was very helpful and interesting thank you doctor James pickering for making it easy for me
I love the explanation. Very easy to understand and remember.
Great summary and really well taught! The professor knows pedagogy very well.
I really like how briefly the instructor taught us despite the subject being hard to explain
everthying is covered in this short video very precisely and it really will helps a lot in the exams
I love Dr. Wilson's lectures because his explanations are easy to understand even though he attacks very complex topics.
I think the content of the material is excellent, but I wish the diagrams were clearer and bigger. It is difficult to learn anatomy when labels are not clear. I think it would be helpful if lecturers could walk through 3D models
the lecture is very informative but it's really hard to understand. The lectures aren't very interactive.
The different parts and compartments being broken down into separate short videos makes learning an awful lot better
It really brings Upperlimb to me in detail and makes anatomy real.
VERY informative and Dr. Clark is very clear in her speech which is stimulating to the mind.
I could relate easily with the delivery of Dr James Pickering.
This was very interesting to me. I appreciate the picture examples. Thank you!
An educative and insightful lecture for all students and professionals in the medical-related field.
The course was concise. However, it cut across every area of the respective lessons taught. It was informative and saved from spending lots of hours going through my study materials provided in class. I really enjoyed it and thus, will recommend it to all.
The course helps me to refresh the important points to apply in physical examination
Dr. Pickering is a treasure! :) He is explaining very, very well! ???? Thanks to him Osteology is easier now! Hope to get a good grade at my Anatomy exam ;) Thank you!!!
The lectures, videos and notes made the study of upped limb easy
The lectures were delivered in a very concise way with much clarity and simplicity and are also very engaging. Complex lectures were made to look simple and easy to understand. I will recommend it to colleagues in my workplace.
The material is precise and concise with clear imaging. The lecturer also have a clear voice
Dr. Pickering is a very good speaker and the structure of the course is very good! Congratulations!!!
I really like this lecture very much and I have a learnt a great deal from this.
Because you are nice and make me understand the topic and pursue my course
Muy poca información y bastante básica la que se muestra
It's really cool,precise,concise and understandable,trust me.
It’s precisely short and to the point, Clear audio and details on the parts mentioned in regards to anatomy both clinical and theoretical. The multiple choice practices has really made me to get a very score in my PAT last week. I hope to continue using this resources for the next 6 years or more.
I would be very pleased If the diagrams were clearer to see.
The presenter was very clear in her explanations. It all made sense.
Esta lección me ha servido mucho en reforzar mi visión espacial del sistema muscular. Muchas gracias!
Lower Limb Anatomy by dr James Pickering another brilliant lecture I cant thank enough it remind me my university years we used to go to the university lab to learn it in Russian language. Now it is online by lecturio and brilliantly explained in English. Actually great to hear from professionals like you . It gives me confidence to know how to pronunciation precisely all of those anatomical terminologies . I have been so exited and re- listening over and over to make sure my pronunciation skills . Many thanks to all doctors who contributed their time to present those lectures.
Easy to understand and to take notes, even for a non native English talker
I am really loving your lecture videos so much and the fact that they just simplify everything that seemed so hard to grab on just blows my mind. I really wish I was able to get the premium offer so I can watch every video I wish to watch because they are just what I know I need so much to get good grades in Medicine but the odds are against me.
its very informative and clear understand speaks clearly nderstand the content
regarding msk pharmacology this is insufficient for the USMLE. no mention of osteoporosis drugs neither did the lecturer mention the arachidonic acid pathway.
Very good teacher ,I love to teach from him.really a great experience
I liked most things I recommend my most friends and I am also going to buy four years course, just depositing money
excellent review. Thank you! I liked the the main points highlighted.
Recommended to all medical students. Aids in tackling the interesting but challenging subject that is the lower limb.
Really it's very much informative! MR.James explains it very clearly. Loved the way of presentation. It helped me a lot to understand the topics. Thanks a lot.
Beautiful, well organised and well explained. Especially the well organised :))
very minimal interactive video. I could have read all that.
Upper Limb Anatomy has a lot of detailed information and covered topic really well. Great job!.
I really liked the videos especially the feature of 3D learning that amazing. That's what make me rate it 5 starts
I am very impressed. It's very good. Thank you very much.
nicely explained good explanation clear image excellent narration powered content
Images are too small. This is ridiculous, what a joke!
One needs a really freshened mind to grasp this. I think I need more time on this. Perhaps more illustration and pictures demonstrating the various skin conditions discussed would be beneficial!
it was very nice. perhaps with addition of some clinical examples at the end of each topic, it would be awesome.
Please increase the level of detail, nothing wrong with the teaching methods- they are very good
Nice explanation and diagrams. Even the 3D model is very helpful in understanding concepts
Like it very much,It is so much helpful and is very supportive
The picture was not as clear while he was pointing to it
Very clear explained, very good images used, important concepts remarked and good summary.
this video helped me understand muscle metabolism and fatigue better than my professor did--the diagrams helped a bunch too!
Perfect explanations and contents are easy to understand. I easily understand her contents than my lecturer's and I am appreciative of her teaching. It
Good but i wish number of questions increase because at last thy help us understand more
Great job as usual Dr James! also great work compressing all theses information into 1:20 mins! As someone with a short attention span this helps me alot
GREAT LECTURE ???????? first time rating a lecture, I think submitting a detailed review should be optional because maybe I just liked the lecture and wanted to give it a five stars and get back to studying!
Thank you for this video, loved how concise and precise it was
thnak u that perfect thnak u that perfect thnak u that perfect thnak u that perfect
The course is very good. The subtitles is a bit bad(for Turkish) but I can understand because it is auto generated.Except for subtitles the other things is very good. The teacher tells calmly and clearly. I think teacher can use more picture or 3D systems.
Very thorough and easy to understand. Explained the structures really well.
This is a wonderful platform for the medical and pre medical students.I love the way the lecturers dissect anatomy to my understanding and also the quiz banks for testing ones comprehension of various subjects that are taught. It's really a great app,
Everything is well explained with picture illustrations, have made it even more easy to retain.
Good lecture, liked the general overview and structure. Happy that i found it.
Dr. James Pickering, He is so captivating and engaging. Am honored to learn from him.
It's informatve. It has all the essential contents that one would seek for to understand the anatomy of the lower limb.
really well explained, repetition really helps the knowledge stick. explaining rather than just reading off the screen really helps swell
Because I clearly understood everything, the pictures where just clear and well labeled.
Wonderful lectures! Thanks so much for the opportunity to learn the basics in an accelerated format! Excellent coverage of the most poignant and interrelated concepts of the upper limb anatomy!! :)
Good clear explanation of all the small muscles in the hand.
Images are small and kindly make the curser bigger and point out to proper location of interest. Otherwise excellent explanation.
This video is not very clear. Not sure how useful/necessary it is.
Nice video, would appreciate bigger images to observe surface landmarks clearly, thanks!
Lätt att förstå förklaringen till täckningarna, bra och enkel framställd
Bra förklarad, helt enkel bra. Lagom hastighet samt bra röst.
amazing work and explanation I liked it very much although I'm not a nurse
Really clear explanation, not bulky yet almost exhaustive. I wish there were an accompanying atlas, I mean real disection showing the discussed content. I think it's really important for better grasp of the concept. Thanks, Aron Okwir, Uganda.
It help me to go forward and to track my progress
I did like this course but in some cases, I wish the images were larger as I had to keep referring back to my netter because the ones shown were not clear enough. I also wish that the professor show the movements when talking about what action each muscle does, whether through a picture or just simply showing them himself.
Great review of the lumbar, sacral and coccygeal vertebrae. Thank you very much!
I have rated this topic 5 stars because it is clear and easy to understand. In addition, it is easy to memorize because of the way it has been exposed.
I actually like how the lectures are presented ,i easily understand it.Though i would like more questions inorder to reinforce memorability.Thank you
The lecture was great, I would appreciate if there is highlighting of the specific structures mentioned in the video. An arrow pointing to the structure sometimes does not suffice. Thank you very much!
I would like to go deeper into each topic or to recommend additional reading at the end of the class.
great lecture , precisely and simply explained BUT a bit clinical should be added along with the osteology
He is a good teaching, his style of teaching is great.
Wonderful video! The information was categorized well, the pictures helped me to visually learn the content, and the instructor had clear explanations that were simple to understand.
Great visuals and expert instruction that included all pertinent information.
good, organized , very informative. first time to study anatomy and find it very helpful and gain a lot of information
Excellent course. Clear explanations, precise details, very illustrative . If anyone wants to learn anatomy must learn wit proffessor Pickering
Very effective way to learn the most important topic to prepare for board exam . The instructors are clear and good in their explanation for difficult topic . I will recommend it to any one who willing to pass board exam.
terrible again... not even written what kind of joint it is!!
it is completely useless. no bursae even mentioned! there is no description of any of the things mentioned. Very disappointing, the joint in general are not well described
Well understand his lecture, and He is talking slowly and patiently.
Professor Pickering is amazing. The way he explains every structure he is talking about is incredible and makes us truly learn and feel immersed in the lecture.
superb lectures with transcript, 3d models and as many study resources.
I very much like the style of presentation and explanations,,I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO all interested in studying medicine,it’s a gem of knowledge.
Very informative, high yield and easy to understand whether you’re learning it for the first time or just reviewing
good lecture, like the breakdown of structures and in relation to other ones.
Dr. Pickering has made this so easy to digest, understand and imagine. Have been struggling for days on this topic as well as lower limbs in general.
Excellent course about upper limb anatomy, taught by an excellent professor
I have been struggling with this topic but since I started with Lecturio everything is unwinding now.
I really liked the lectures and really thankful to y'all. It would be so much better if y'all show some real bones too...Anyways these lessons really helped me a lot :)
wonderful explanation about bone structure and the need of light bone to make it easy to move
I like a lot the examples of each type of muscle fiber
Thanks for emphasizing thing like sparing nasolabial folds. I think it is extremely important to emphasize valuable high-yield thing for better remembering.
Good concise contents covering a lot of common conditions Dr Raj is a brilliant lecturer and would like to see more of his work in the future
These lessons are really put in order to help understand easier and the way it’s organized on the slides helps big time.
Amazing way of teaching in an organized fashion! I love the images and order of teaching that helps me comprehend the material.
It really explains the movement really well. step by step of each joint
I rate this as five stars .Help me alot as starting new anatomy topics.Highly recommended to new students
Because it has real all required teachings that accompany with better illustrations and question at the end to improve and measure understanding!
very well structured, I like the streight to the point style
Easy to follow lectures and also comprehesive lecture required for step 1 USMLE .
Each section was very concise and reminded me of details that I had forgotten. It also taught me the clinical application for each injury/condition. I use these as a supplement to my medical school lectures which I don't have time to rewatch 2 hours of lecture for 3 classes/day. It's also very helpful that each quiz is linked to the relevant material that I need to know.
She has a wonderful voice. It helps me to focus and makes me want to learn more
I like the way benign nevi was explained, start with the definition and the different categories.... Perfect!
Great video on precursor lesions, RF and differential diagnosis for Melanoma.
its somehow good but need little speed when explaining not that fast tho
Nicely explained , i love how the professor repeats important points time and again, could use better diagrams or more visualization though
one of the best anatomy professor ,thank you so much sir for your dedication and hard work and indeed many thanks to this organization LECTURIO keep it up guys !
the slides are clear, the lecturer is passionate and has energy .I used to think anatomy is hell but my perpective has changed
You did an amazing hard work to creat this great lecture. You could involve the most important information in only 14 minutes and the same time the lecture is very simple and interesting. Thank you very much professor Craig Canby
Excellent lectures from the best professional. Thanks a lot for your great help in learning so difficult topics
Thank you for your wonderful lectures, very easy to remember the topic after listening you
amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing
nowhere near enough detail, too brief to explain the knee joint
No advice to give. Good detail and pace and easy to follow
hi I interestingly have heard these lectures, the explanations were attractive and full of information about the lower limb anatomy for learners.
great work, u made antomy so easy especialy with the diagrams.but SIR u should discuss some clinical a bit with joints and osteology on a pre-clinical level
I understood clearly this lesson about the posterior spaces of axyla
He is so boring and just reads what it is written
I really enjoy the teaching style. Easy to follow and remember. Even when doing questions - I can remember Dr Raj mentioning it. It is easy to get introduced and get comfortable with a wide variety of topics. Would have like to know of Lecturio much sooner.
Carlo - you are great as a teacher - probably a wonderful doctor. I always had trouble remembering differences as a doctor - you make it easy.
Summarized very nicely ????????I loved the way he made it look simple
The digital background is not apealing, each disease is scattered through no of slides intead of just one slide which would be helpful for review.
best lecturer on Lecturio - so refreshing to have a lecturer with passion and a personality! No ego getting in the way of his fantastic lectures - a very rare thing indeed!
Spoken text is fine. The illustrations used have too small-fonted text making it difficult to read labels, especially on slides with many labels.
It is an unbelievably easy and organized explanation. It is an excellent presentation.
there is not any lectures about cranial bones ? think cranial bones are one of the most important part about bones ? wish you add a lecture about it
Like the emphasis this instructor puts on the important things.
In a short time you have a good content. And it has English subtitle.
idk what the below review is talking about, this is clearly an introduction-style lecture and it's been done well. does well to get cogs whirring
Not very good. He's just spouting out facts, sounds like he's probably reading from a teleprompter.
I consider it a ery shallow lecture, with very little info about costal attachemnts of the intercostal muscles, they don even show a sagital cut of the ribs to understand better the intercostal muscle attachemnts and origin.
Anatomy is explained best with annotated images and pointers on the various parts as the lecturer speaks. Not through tabulation of facts.
I started taking these classes beforehand since our course is only gonna start at Sept ao thought of studying something beforehand so I don't sit clueless once the classes begin. it's highly helpful and very well organized to follow even though you don't know anything about the topics .it everything from the basics in great detail and that's why I followed the lectures using the free trial.i do wish to access the rest of the lectures but since it requires payment I pulled back since I'm not currently that financially sound to make the payment since the college fee requires a lot of money.i wish I had free access to all the lectures .I've searched for good lectures online and I find lecturio the most promising online lecture class with precisely organized manner of classes and slides and even the diagram s and 3d models.hoping for more from you .at least make some more videos open to free access.a request from a beginner student.with lots of gratitude Been
Concise and informative. Clearly differentiates disorders. Important points covered without missing anything
This teacher has a style of teaching that makes people retain facts better like the way he pats the liver to say beware of liver disease and his way of pressing certain words is certainly helping to reckon better, thank you, sir.
Amazing lesson! It’s very easy to understand. He is explaining everything clear!
Good pictures Understanding the way he teaches Slow and steady
Clear and easy to follow Practice quiz questions are nice exercise on the main facts
manageable amount, not too long but goes into enough depth speed of speech is nice and easy to understand - not too fast
very well explained and is easy to understand, the graphics were very clear and it was synchronized with the explanation , I would definitely like to watch another lecture from Mr.Thad Wilson.
It was a great source of info I just wish it more of a deeper source rather than a sort of overview
The derm lectures have been surprisingly helpful and as always Dr Raj keeps it clear, funny, and to the point.
no pathophysiology, epidemiology and risks explained explanations are shallow, very hastily spoken and with very little extra info. Not happy with this course
He is always clear in his lectures and is easy to understand him
Dr. Pickering's lectures are great. He focuses on what's important and everything is exceptionally well organized. The only thing I would add to the lectures is various mnemonics available for the upper limb.
Thank u very much that was very helpful and u made it very clear.
because it more fun than going through the anatomy book
Very nice presentation of the shoulder by Dr James Pickering. Highly recommended!
I wish you would have gone into more detail with chickenpox. I know it might not be as common in the US but a lot of people use lecturio for other international tests and chickenpox is still a big deal here (both in clinical practice and licensing exams)
i thought the course was very in depth and easy to understand.
Please, stop speaking in such a monotone way. It gets people bored.
i very much like how Dr James presents his work to everyone around him
Currently reviewing for my 3rd year of Medicine. Looking back even as much as osteology solidifies my knowledge in other aspects of muscle physiology and pathology. Dr. Pickering does a very good job of keeping you up to date and on pace
very clear and neat explanation. understood the material from the first replay
From my point of view, this lecture is an amazing clear presentation about angioedema . This lecture discribes in many ways and from several point of views the struggles and the look outs about this condition and illness. Also, a fresh way for (becoming) docters to make it not so difficult for them working together with the patient, with this clear and vivid diagram. It is possible to check the "boxes" together because of the clear way of putting it all out there. People could recognize the specifics of the illness.
simple and sorted. well explained and very good concept builder
Good brief overview of the knee joint but I wish the lecturer would have gone more in-depth about the menisci, and the rotational and translational movements of the knee.
similar to Upper Limb; layout & structure of course is quite good. concise & detailed. but the images & diagrams used truly do have very small labels, often making them useful. The lecturer uses the cursor here and then but thats not conducive to great learning either. you really need to be visualising these structures in a large & clear format. Another point would be to include some mnemonics! it is no secret that these are one of the most useful tools for anatomy students in remembering complex structures, so why omit them? a final criticism is that it just lacks some more clinical relevance.
speaks very clearly and has good explanations and terminology is delivered clearly
So well organized and clearly explained! The way you organize the material makes anatomy reasonable... the puzzle pieces fit.
Excellent lecture about the clavicle -- key landmarks are highlighted and the compare/contrast of superior and inferior views is extremely helpful.
Very clear lecture and excellent intro to osteology of the arm.
Straightforward and extremely well organized. I like the way he relates parts of anatomy to one another.
Very clear and concise lectures, explained well with appropriate amount of detail - nothing is left unexplained and it never feels too complicated. The diagrams used are very informative and useful as well.
because i learnt alot from it which i could not easily understand while reading
Cristal clear to understand and well organized material. This lecture series help us to learn anatomy interestingly.
Helped me a TON! Great quick easy overview of the Scapular bone, and was much easier to learn and understnad throughout this video. Much better understandment than my antomy class.
I am really enjoying this, helps me understand better and it makes it possible to review after I have had a lecture at my university or even before.
It’s very good I really enjoyed this lecture.the study of way is very good
simple, understandable, comprehensive . im looking forward into details on the anatomical structures of the limbs
NICE LECTURE, short and understandable. feels like information is not enough. anyway, it's a good lecture. thank you, doctor Carlo.
Although a shorter one compared to the other videos, this was comprehensive and concise. I just hope they have a zoomed in/focused photo of the specific areas of the bones so it would be much clearer to identify the features.
Very thorough explanation of the important structures found in the humerus. Recommended for medical students especially those who learn visually. Thank you, Dr. Pickering.
This was a clear and organized lecture by Dr. Pickering. Much appreciated.
Dr. Pickering is clear and concise. This has been very helpful
TOP stuff ! I wish my lecturer was like that because you are amazing
I think he is one of the top lectures that have a particularly unique way in gaining attention. Kudos
Becoz it tell us everything about venous drainage and the language used was way much more easier than most of the recommended books and even our teachers
This lecture is easy to memorize and understand, also it has accurate and clear information.
I liked this curse a lot, but I really think maybe some animations would make it a whole lot better
Great explanation of lower limb from Dr.Pickering, especially muscles. That's why i like it very much.
I rate this lecture with 5 stars because just after I heard this lecture I understood the 'Brachial Plexus'. That's why I recommend it to every medical student who want to understand the 'Brachial Plexus'. Thank you very much LECTURIO
Fantastic explanation about the topic, easy way to learn anatomy.
Belabors the points quite succinctly! The approach is just the best for clinical dermatology!
i could understand what the doctor carlo raj is telling only because lecturio is providing subtitles and transcript of what he is speaking which is really helpful and very useful and i am really thankful for that to lecturio..........................
HE HAS TAKEN THE BEST EFFORT IN EXPLAINING THE TOPIC AND HAS PRESENTED IT WELL AND IN A STUDENT FRIENDLY MANNER.
Taken lot of effort to explain the details of the topic and to make us understand the difference between the two conditions: pemphigous vulgaris and bullous pemphigoid. it was a beautiful lecture.....
dr carlo raj has explained the topic very clearly and in a very point wise manner..........it was very helpful............
the lecture was easy to understand and well done. i am feeling satisfied after listening to this lecture.
the lecture was simple and easy to understand. it was a good lecture.
BECAUSE DR CARLO RAJ IS SUCCESSFUL IN MAKING ME UNDERSTAND THE TOPIC. SENTENCES HE USED WERE NOT SO COMPLICATED AND IS SOMEWHAT EASY TO UNDERSTOOD.
Hacen falta mejorar los subtítulos en español, no siempre están en el orden correcto las palabras y esto dificulta el entendimiento.
Would like to see some discussion about investigations eg patch testing
Thank you Dr. Canby for your succinct yet informative introduction to the concepts of the vertebral column. The pictures and pauses were very helpful, as I was able to follow along with the presentation. You presented the information intuitively.
60 % of stage 4 patients develop metastasis in the brain. Why is it missing? Target-therapy with BRAFi Vermurafenib or Dabrafenib should be given in combination with MEK inhibitors. Both modern immunotherapy treatments are missing (CTLA4, PD-1). That are just the basics. Melanoma research developed fast and this video should be replaced by an updated version.
Dr. Pickering pointed out a few things that even my anatomy professor (who is excellent) did not. A very good lecture on the brachial plexus -- both short and detailed.
I love your lectures, you are such a talented proffesor. Great work.
great explanation Few people have a talent in teaching. i think Dr Raj is one of them thank you so much
very good and informative lecture. thank you for good explanation associated with the differential diagnosis
good and simple explanation however it would be more useful if there are examples for each lesion
very nice way of dissecting and thoroughly going over each HY nerve, much appreciated!
video was simple and fast, and well articulated. Much appreciated
thanks for cutting down into smaller bits.he is a bit fast though.thank you
I really liked this course because the doctor repeated the most relevant information and was very professional and patient.
I found this lecture to be clear, concise and suitable as a complement to lectures, textbook and cadaver work. Could you make the diagrams and their labels a bit larger, as they are difficult to see on smartphone, and there is no zoom facility.
I really thankful w/ the doctor and his course. If you're really strugling with this topic, believe with those videos you'll understand everything.
Engaging presenter. Love the reinforcements of what is important to remember. Love that he includes DD and why those other DD can be ruled out. His lecture will stick.
Definitely benefitted from the lectures. Just a small note, even when putting the video on HD and full screen, the writing is too small and blurry to see the labelled parts of various anatomical structures. Hope the resolution can be increased or labels increased in size.
James used very small images that were of limited value and simply read what was on his slides which had very scant detail. No further elaboration or clinical relevance accompanied his explanations. I have gone to another resource for anatomy as I found my understanding was not stronger after having listened to his lectures.
I really lime the way of presentation and the quick test after that, because that challenge me to really pay attention to the lectures, but only one concern is about tha fast speaking, as a foreign is sometime a little difficult for me to get everything a one, because l need to replay the video, but for the rest, amazing work guys!!
explained very well and clear in short time. got all i need to know
They are really great videos. I wish questions would be more like USMLE or NBME questions.
made anatomy easy and fun! after watching this video all i need is my atlas of human anatomy, i use the app by the way, and am all set for anatomy!
Dr. Raj does a stellar job of explaining not only the disease but then giving great visualizations of what that patient will look like when they present for treatment. He is also great about pausing for a moment to let important information sink in. His pictures were very helpful as well as I am a very visual learner.
The content is good although it requires some more information to be incorporated in lectures the knowledge and reputation of lecturer is excellent and he is highly fluent in his delivery of the content thanks a lot for this
Love this guy! Easy to listen to. Puts emphasis on important points. And occasionally says something surprisingly funny. "Rubber Baby Bumper Buggies" lol
It was very nice lecture as i get a new informations which could be difficult to figure it out by reading textbook only. Thank you very much
well said, easy to understand, could take some notes, clarity of subjects, for medical students
Great for reviewing anatomy for your orthopedic rotation when you don't have time for textbooks. Very detailed.
Very well explained. But it could have some clinic relevance.
considering that most students are paying monthly, it will be nice to have a small animation team that works with the lectures to have the highest quality of service, this platform needs to beat videos found on youtube or be equal to it. rather than still pictures. I found the first video not to be as an introduction to this topic of musculoskeletal phy. but so far I like the lecturer and his explanation. it helps supplement my book.
i like the explanation pattern, thankyou so much. its of great value to a med student
i think there should be more information about impetigo regarding types(bollous, non bollous) and ddx . regarding ssss pictures and pathology should be added will be more helpful
Dr speaked more fast and didnt explain completely that we want
it's clear and simple, i like dr. raj so far.but there are other lesions that should be covered ( mainly secondary) and pictures should be added, it's a a dermatology course if we don't see we won't understand. i would suggest to add those things in the articles (which are amazing btw) if you want to keep the video simple
I love the eminent Dr Carlo Raj. Very keen to get across the knowledge into all thick skulls.
excellent, comprehensive, detailed and very focused dermatology lecture on high yield and clinically relevant material
Excellent summary for any medical student in their Dermatology practice.
It is a well detailed and it suited my course. It is interesting as well
Love it very informative, I will follow it as much as I can
It's a good professor, but there should be a "live" skeleton that he uses instead of just the PowerPoint.
now my act is as MD dermatologist really i feel very confidence after hearing his lectures i wanna say thank you so much
I don't think he's robotic at all. The way he talks keeps me engaged, better than most monotone professors I have in med school Excellent explanations. He is very articulate and knows how to tie facts together and emphasises on the key facts so you at least leave the video knowing what Atopic Dermatitis is about
Very clear, hits high-yield points, somewhat entertaining too. Very passionate lecturer.
Very conscise and get to the point at each topic/secsion/
Best supplement for my med school anatomy lab. Easy to follow and thorough.
Fantastic! It’s like you’ve melted the fear away for me! I can watch over and over and over until I can nearly repeat it word for word. Sometimes when you study you can know something but in a multiple choice question (MCQ) situation later you can be stumped - while I found the sentences are in my head and it’s like being able to check the lecture! Repetition is the best way to learn! You couldn’t ask a class lecturer to keep going over stuff but with your amazing classes you can!! Thanks !!! Telling all my classmates about your article.
I liked this course very much. it helped me a lot. thank you very much doctor James.
I think this is a great app! Just wondering if this app/info applies to the Family Nurse Practitioner board exam as well? Thanks much! Stephanie K
The presentation and speaking is very clear which is good, this has helped me and made medical school easier so far
Great overview. Wish that dermatology covered more topics, though. I enjoyed this overall. I like the transcript section. It allows me to review the material and read the speakers words verbatim. This is wonderful for all types of learning.
I learn better by listening and visualizing. So these lecturio lecture videos helps me a lot. Reading the text book after watching these is way better than trying to learn from the textbook alone. Also these video lectures aren't boring. they are very interesting. If someone is struggling to learn anatomy on their own, then I'd really recommend this for them.
wow! he gives detailed explanations with the pictures. hes doing an excellent job
This playlist was named: Musculoskeletal, Skin, and Connective Tissue—Pathology. But only skin pathology is covered, there are no musculoskeletal and connective tissue pathology videos... and they can't be found elswhere either.
Thank you very much for this course. It helped me understand the anatomy of the upper limb very well.
I certainly liked the video format, where we can adjust the focus from the speaker to the slide, and use the cursor to aid in pinpointing the relevant aspects of the scapula. The only thing I found was missing was a little aside about the suprascapular notch, which was shown in the slide, but not alluded to in the actual video lecture!
I love how he directly emphasizes main points with repetition and gives details of differentials. He is very direct and to the point, no wasted time.
easy to understand.... superb mcqs awesome lecture videos which helps to understand the concept better..
I really enjoy each and every anatomy lecture by Dr James Pickering.......I am actually preparing for NEET PG EXAM IN INDIA...................ITS REALLY HELPING ME TO LEARN IMPORTANT POINTS in ANATOMY which also come for NEET PG INDIA...............THANK U Dr James Pickering........thank u LECTURIO............
terrible lecturing anatomy is dry enough and you don't need a dry lecturere
Very Unclear Connection between lecturer and the diagrams the pictures are unclear the teacher seems reading from the book ... can't focus on what he says
5 star lecturer! I enjoy every moment watching the videos. All med students should subscribe this app!
Best lecture ever, I never thought I'd be able to understand brachial plexus
Well Dr Pickering has presented the subject in such a lucid and organised manner that it becomes impossible not to fall in love with it and become dexterous in it at the same time. It was a wonderful experience with the upper limb. Hope I have the same fun with the lower limb!
rating is 5, interesting and self directing through adverts on the you-tube pages
The video quality is quite good and I like the way the topic is presented. I would definitely recommend this to my friends in medical school. I guess the font could be larger and thicker though.
I like it very much, He focused in all the important topics, and presented it very excellently, I recommend this app for all my friends.
Dermatology course challenge is that either everything looks like either dermatitis or lupus. Dr. Raj delivers the course in a concise and straight forward manner. I had no problem with his diction and/or pronunciation. Also, his interactive way of asking in every video, helps you maintain a sort of active learning during the passive learning of hearing the lecture. All doubts clarified.
The lecture was a little hard to follow. The speaker seems a little nervous.
Clear and concise with clinical correlations of the major structures.
a difficult topic made easy and clear - well done (this is just fillers to reach minimum word count needed to post review)
Great lecture! Very detailed and I understood it with ease. I'm looking forward to the other lectures.
Absolutely lovely and visual. The lecturer was very precise and it helped me enjoy the lecture
Difficult to understand. Annoying accent. Difficult to concentrate on the lecture due to his presentation style.
i dont like it. in the ad, it was free, now im told to suscribe
Interesting but a little light on my point of view. I am a resident working in France to become an emergency doctor and honestly i would have enjoy to have a differential diagnosis guide between erysipelas and DVT for instance or other similar looking skin disorders. Often receiving elderly patients at emergency, it is sometimes hard do make a difference (clinically i mean) between erysipelas and "ocre dermite" also called purpuric angiodermatitis, part of post thrombotic syndrome. What about the "portal of entry" in erysipelas we have to look for? what about the difference in aspect between cellulitis and erysipelas, one having more delimited and visible border than the other? Anyway thank you for this lecture :)
Though I wouldn't want to hurt the instructors feelings, I think the concepts are all included, but his ability to convey the information in a coherent, and appealing matter are lacking. Anyone can just read you the concept and put slide after slide, but there is a finesse to the presentation of material. If every lecturer could have that finesse, this would be the most incredible resource for medical students around the world.
Very helpful, concise, and overall great lectures!! I'm excited to complete other courses!
Great lecturer! Covers the topic without becoming bogged down in the details.
Good lecture. The talking is very smooth and continuous not robotic like it sometimes tends to be the case with Dr.Raj. Excellent! Good explanation of the terms and the difference between atopic and contact dermatitis! Some more elaboration on treatment options, including non-pharmacologic and the role of allergen testing (should you do it or not?) would be a good addition.
I like his explanation and also him demonstrating techniques or anatomic locations on his own body, however the diction feels very unnatural. This is in all the videos. Can that be improved? It becomes grating to listen to over time and speeding up the video doesn`t do much to improve it.
In my opinion, this course on muscles is good for a review of the most important points of the topic. I couldn't find the striated muscle lecture, there are only smooth muscle lectures here. I think a little bit of more detail could make this course perfect!
Easy to understand. I recommend adding more information regarding medication such as what kind of systemic seroid we are using.
Fantastic talk but would have liked further information on non-pharmacological treatment and also the role of allergen testing
I find one of the challenging aspects of dermatology is to keep in the various ddx for "similar" looking presentation. The way these lectures are set out has been very useful to have a few ddx to think about when facing a pt with a rash!
Great talk I would have liked to hear further discussion on the use preventative strategies, duration of treatment for tetracyclines and retininoids as well as mention of OCP in females.
Lectures on Anatomy of the Heart was more concise, very comphrensible and corresponded with Last Anatomy textbook. Upper Limb Lectures wasn't as concise as Lectures on The Thorax( Heart). But I am very grateful to Lecturio for making my learning more simplified....
It says the essential about the bones structure and function with understandable explanation and examples
I liked this video much better than the last. :) Maybe it's because he starts to feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
I agree with the above review. As knowledgable and nice as he may be, the flow isn't there. It's very robotic.
Very good way of teaching and explanation is clear to the key points, thank you Dr.Carlo Raj!
I liked the lectures very much . The in-depth classification of bones, muscles and associated systems surely was great. The clarity in voice and imaging helped me understand a great deal on appendicular skeleton . And i also scored great marks in the tests conducted on the topic anatomy of upper limbs at the university. Surely lecturio is the best choice for all medical U.G students. Thank you lecturio for your marvellous services.
To the point and repetitive, which helps a lot with making sense of confusing differentials.
Enjoy the multimedia approach. Being able to hear and see the information at the same time helps me to learn better.
It is very important to have a better diction and prosody
Oh my God !It was mind blowing and succinct.I do have hope I be guided to achieve the best USMLE score Sincerely, Alamie-Omu
I like his way to explain. He did not mention if these are 1ry or 2ry lesion. There is no pic.
I liked the vídeos becase they are like a quick view of a topic, the general stuff and really important. I would like more photos, maybe clínica cases to practice and not to be so general in the treatment
Good lectures with overall easy-to-understand structure The images on the slides are very good, better than in most atlases I just wish we could have the tables (muscle insertions, origins, nerve supply) as a PDF or something
i would say the most useful and amazing anatomy lecture in the world !! great gob and i wish if you cover the lower limp nerve injury !! thank you
Said by a old MD (58) you can count on it Dr Raj has the gift, the talent to focus on what really matters but most of all after many years it was the first time that I was amazed by specific tips I never took in consideration . Thanks Dr Raj thanks Lecturio I shall die less ignorant
This course was really good to understand with my knowledge of upper limb of arm.
Well explained I really enjoyed it especially the nerve lesion part. Thanks, Dr. James
The pictures could havebeen animated to give abetter showing of how the process flows, insead of still pictures like a textbook
Excellent intro to lower limb anatomy - covering only the need to knows. Helpful for exam revision.
Totally well illustrationer and clearly describing. The modules are more helpy than pics. Regards Najm
It was clear and amazingly explained But i would like to ask if you can add exams Or quizes with more questions Thanks for the hard effort
I think this is one of the best courses to review any topic in medicine, they have the best teachers, the best topics and the best explanations! it is like being in the best university of the whole world!. I do not want to stop studying;-)
