Helped to drive in what I’d learnt before. Pictorial representations helped my ability to understand. Questions helped me realize where I had misunderstood and go back to listen again.

Thank you Prof. Wilson. you made the subject to be very easy to understand.
the way the prof explains the content is a bit nitty gritty the prof is not very good at commenting should you have queries
Great course A very important indeed I wandered how to improve the walls of a vessel and important spots like an aorta first example and IVC Carotid arteries which does really important arterial blood supply to the brain vertebral arteries which are play really important role I mean a lot of things we can think off . Awesome, this really comes in handy with the congenital heart diseases from Paediatrics, thanks Dr. Peter for being clear and giving us the key-points!
I wish there was more things that are geared towards the nurse practitioner rather than a general overview of course of cardiology but all the points that he makes a really helpful
So good this is life changing .Our lectures are so bad lately and this is helping immensely . Thank you so much !
Explanation isn't clear, have to search on google to understand clearly
Muy buenas clases, me sorprendió lo dinámicas que son, este profesor es genial, es súper claro a la hora de explicar y hace muy ameno el aprendizaje, 10/10. Like it very much, he is a great speaker.
I like that Dr. Raj verbally retests you again and again to help you memorize.
i liked the explaination with reason and the full picture put together
Lecturio has the amazing ability to recruit professors that are not only knowledgeable but excel at teaching students. I wish I'd discovered the site earlier. One of the biggest problems professors have in medical school is that they often forget that they're teaching people who don't already know the material. It can make what seems to the professor like a straightforward lecture into an unintelligible mess to their students. Dr. Shukle was able to break down pharmacology in a much easier to understand format than my professors. While it may not have all the information people will see on a school test, it provides a solid foundation that I used to go back over my lectures and fill in details (this time having a much better understanding of what they were talking about and consequently getting much more out of it). I can't comment on their lecturio's affect on the USMLE, as I haven't taken that yet. But I do feel much better informed about pharmacology moving forward, and I recommend this series to everyone who felt like I did when listening to their school lectures.
Clear presentation AND good selection of figures to show both a. and v. circulation. It is an added plus that all figures have the names in latin and not English. In other of the anatomy videos (i.e. upper limb, brain) the names in English, whereas keeping it in latin is more international than English and makes us all think that we are treating a scientific topic with a long history. Keeping it in latin makes i more clear and less ambiguous than English. Keep names of anatomical structures in latin in you Lecturio lectures.
It is amazing how Professor Wilson explain everything. I have learned a lot.
These lectures are concise, have all the necessary information and really explains key points well! Absolutely loving learning from Lecturio videos, especially with the pandemic hindering face to face classes. This extra help is a very needed boost to my studies!
easily explained .well organized . Mentioned what we need to know with explanations .
I finally understood this concept! I've reviewed it many times but only until now did i understand
Definitely decent videos. I love it deeply, and It helps me a lot. Woo. Dus goes us. Um go with um.
It is easy to understand, on the point and easy to follow. Thank you Dr shukle
It is well explained and the concepts are highlighted. I am really grateful for this platform.
Very good lecture, where guidelines for each condition are enhanced.
it is really good and easy to understand i watched it twice and i memorized everything but in the quiz there was a question that went like what are the endocardial cushions derived from and in the lecture there was no mentions of such thing
An outstanding teacher. Clear, succinct, well organized! What a teacher should be.
Amazing teacher, straight to the point, clear way of explaining.
Very good course. It should contain examples of real heart sounds
Hello. I just want to share my thought on this lecture series. These lecture series are so excellent that as a student we have the capacity to control the phase of the video, and secondly doctor Thad Wilson explain this concepts so clearly that I find it very useful along side my course in MBBS. I like the Thad Wilson teaches. He is a great teacher. The content of the slides a also excellent because students can easily follow the short best outline. Thank you doctor Thad Wilson, and the lecturio staffs for the this help.
The concepts are explained very well. ???? even better than the way my professors explain. Thank you very much!
Excellent explanations and clear, thank you! Pretty cool you got the histology guide guy to make a lecture.
Thad Wilson was amazing and explained things in such an easy way!! Love his enthusiasm and his subtle humour ????
Excellent, really grateful doc! Hope to meet you in real life when i am a real doctor
It is so slow that I can't focus. Also at the end of lecture functions of endothelium is written on the slide but not explained by the teacher. I think one should mention what is written on slide while doing a presentation.
An excellent smooth and very understandable approach and way of teaching!!! Thank you Sir!
good expression best teacher thx for everything we like you man
I loved it. I used to hate Cardiology and after Lecturio I have been telling all my colleagues how much I love it now! This is impressive. I love the way the lectures are set up and I have learned so much!
one of the short and precise explanation ever keep doing the best work LECTURIO
Los vídeos resumen muy bien la información lo cual hace que la información sea muy fácil de entender y como los vídeos van en serie lo hace mucho mejor.
Excelent teacher. Clear and precise with an according order to avoid missing anything.
THIS TEACHER TEACHES IN A EXCELLENT WAY , VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND , AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE .. PERFECT FOR ME :)
For those begginer students, its a good and quick way to learn about the mediastinal areas.
great course, great professor, great subject. I thought I had learned a lot in cardiac histology, but still, I learned some more in this course. I really like it.
I like the approach of presenting lecturs I recommend all medical student to study and learn from these lectures
I rate it cause I found it good and helpful. I liked it very much because the x- ray explanation its very helpful for me .
The course was concise and easy to understand with a wide range of illustrations and examples. This made learning extremely fun and easy
Love how dynamic his tone of voice is. Keeps me in check when i start zoning out
clearer than the class I took in school fast, but since I like to rewind and listen again, it doesn't bother good for reviewing and getting key points
El doctor explica claramente los temas, pero ayudaría mucho más a los estudiantes si explicaran las patologias faltantes que causan shunt
PJ Schukle has a soft Canadian voice and is easy to listen to. Excellent delivery.
EXCELENT never quite understood these concepts until I saw this amazing video! -Sofia from Mexico
The best pharmacology lectures and profesor one can imagine. Maybe needs to go deeper on some things, and dosis would be amazing to have. Also, constant updates and the latest drugs available is something that can be an area of improvement. Other than that, best pharmacology lectures in the world.
I like professor Thad's lectures. He explains a little bit slow but is great because for non-english native speakers is good for understand the main concept of the lecture
Concise and aimed explanation contributes to an interactive lecture which makes learning enjoyable.
Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff Good stuff
It felt like everything I learnt on the development of the heart came together, feels good
Those embryology videos manage to be concise whitout butchering the major axis of this subject, lecturio is making my life easier.
This was a great lecture! The only thing I missed was an overview in the form of a table or something to help with the review of what aortic arches gives rise to which arteries.
I never understood this completely until now. Thank you Notes are short and straight to the point
Thanks Dr. Pravin Shukle Clear, Concise and Enthusiastic which is just infectious. I never really enjoy doing questions , but I really enjoyed those creative questions like the one with the attending asking the nervous intern first line drug. Also your lectures are very re-watchable. Dr. PK makes the basics very simple and highlights the drugs you need to know and what isn't so important which is soo helpful in pharmacology. Also he is Canadian +++ Thanks
Dear Dr. Pravin Shukle this may sound like a love letter but some how got my heart racing in this lecture about how optimistic you are about the future of medicine. Truly Inspirational
Thanks for this easy explanation even people who never studied in Medical schools will still understand everything you explain
Thank you, Professor Thad, for such a fantastic lecture, I am watching your lectures and I am loving cardiology
This Professor is 100 million times better than the whole professors in my University. Thank you for such an easy and well-explained lecture.
It would be great if it is more explanatory. So that it will be more helpful for us.
Everything so well expleined! I love the emphasis that the teacher gives to the important points.
I will recommend you lectures to all my friends who are doctors. Thank you for your invaluable help
Thank you very much. Very simple and informative. You do a great job
Cases are always needed especially after a tough topic like Pharmacology which you make easy but to help nail it down these cases a the cherry on the cake . Thanks Dr Pravin Shukle
During this quarantine it is really hard to understand my classes from home and basically we are studying by ourselves. With Lecturio I can watch the exact videos that I need, take notes and ask questions if needed. Thank you guys for this amazing platform that is so helpful during this hard time.
It's crisp and is explained beautifully. The topics are explained in such a manner that you remember the concepts by heart.
Fue muy didáctico y entendible, recomendaria a todos mis compañeros para su repaso
Dr. Raj you are a breath of fresh air an energizing lecturer. I am so thankful and happy with discovering your lectures. This definitely rivals Pathoma and Golijan in terms of quality. Concise and straight forward. Enjoyable and Re watchable exactly what i needed for this pandemic.I believe in the near future Lecturio will be on the map against rivals and will come out on top because its such a complete tool to learn from. I really regret not taking this earlier but not demotivated anymore just ready to get work done thanks enthusiasm and clarity. Thanks p.s i normally don't write reviews of anything but this deserves such praise
Dr. Raj has a great way of explaining difficult topics and making sure you walk away with all the important aspects thoroughly understood. Can't wait to see more of his video lessons!
Very pleasant pace of lecture and clear explanation. Also love the quick and personal response on the questions on the forum. Really makes me feel like I am in the lecture hall itself.
i really enjoyed the lecture, it was very clear and easy to understand.
you are a great teacher. thank you for the way you describe each step making it very simple
Great slides, organised and with the exact information needed. As a genuinely good professor, he exaplains everything and makes it comprehensible and easy to remember. He speaks clear and slowly which helps foreign students who don't have english as their mother tongue.
Well, this a combined review of your heart sound & murmur series. I found them to be concise very high yield with a re-watchablity factor to it. very much appreciated your vigor enthusiasm gets me pumped. Some of the points you made were very complicated, i know you did your best if you could find mnemonics would be amazing and will push you forward. So far my favorite lecture here lol would definitely recommend your videos to friends. Thanks
I really appreciate Dr.Carlo Raj for his way of explaining almost everything from physiology to pathology of cardiovascular system in excellent way. Thank you very much!
It is also very very very good. I like it so much. I also would like to see more vedio from this app Please give another free primium
as stated below- very happy with the delivery of lecture
Dr Wilson presents all the essential details and principles in tandem with his slides in the most effective way such as to prepare the student well for the questions following.
Excellent delivery with both understanding and memory of details maximized for student.
Very well done, lecturer uses excellent visual aids and makes clear explanations
I like a lot the classes. They are clear enough to understand complicated concepts.
Good illustrations and diagrams. Short and simple explanation of difficult topics
Amazing lectures. Now I can understand everything more. I like the author's way of explaning things very much
Very complicated topic that it's not explain with enough clarity
it was not bad, a bit simple and also generally wasn't compelling
Simple yet very nice explained . I felt like I learned it there and then
Its a good overview of cariovascularr pharmacology but it could be more detailed
Great teaching It helped a to clarify some concepts that I difficulty understanding.
They make it really easy to understand even the hardest subjects
an amazing course indeed, i have been struggling with histology for a long time, and this course clarified me a lot of things, so thank you:)
Explains the different types of drugs and mechanism of action staight to the point, the lecturer is a very good physician. But the guidlines differ from country to country, besides some information is contradictory and missing. Like he did not mention Labetalol as alpha and beta antagonist, he explains that the first drug of choice is ARBs in isolated systemic hypertension while in some previous quiz the answer was diuretics.
I gave 5 starts to this lecture because it covered almost everything I had on my tests and practial daily routine. Thank you!
You guys are really good, believe me.you are doing a great job.May God bless you.
complicated, i studied it much easier in different location than here
Precisely the info i need for my exam. Excellent review and references
Excellent lecture. The teacher explains everythig suoer good and it is so easy to follow. I would recommend this lecture to any med student. Thank you Dr.Craig.
Review Easy to memorize but didn t dive deep Not enough question for recal memory Should have connection with flashcard, visualize
The professor has enough knowledge and explained fantastic. He stresses on important matters.
It's always useful to see a good review of hard subjects like this.
excellent & simple overview of the topic - He explain it in good way thanks a lot
I checked the entire ECG / EKG lectures and they confused me more than they helped. The article 7 steps was a good start in my opinion but a video lecture of someone walking me through the steps would be better. The lectures don't cover how one should go about reading the ECG and what to infer from the data provided. This would come in handy to read them not just for the step exams but the clinical rotations as well so maybe add or change them up. ECG in Boards and Beyond could be looked at as good example for that in my opinion.
Excellent instructor! I appreciate how he emphasizes the visual aspect to help solidify the material for keeps! Also sometimes when I am listening while laying down in bed, he says, "pay attention!" Those little cues keep me on my toes. Lastly, Dr. Raj is helping me become a good clinician as I improved my though process in management skills. Thank you!
simple and easily comprehandable with high level of information and diagramattic illustrations
the lectures are delivered really in a very simple manner and one can comprehend easily the new concepts with better diagramatic illustrations.
The overall lecture topic is fine, However, because of being a rigid subject per se, more fun and slowing down might help further
I am not far enough into it yet to be able to comment properly. So far, though, very good. The articles supplement the talks very well.
The lectures are precise and clear and very helpful filling in some of the gaps in my course.
To update: the receptors of the heart plus their Gs/Gi binding could be mentioned in the presentation
It has always been a joyful experience to watch your lectures, Dr. Wilson. One of the main reasons I love Lecturio is having excellent lecturers like you! Thank you.
the doctor really simplified the whole thing...i'll find this much easier to remember
Helps to understand the basics of ECG. More videos on abnormal ECG would be of great use.
thank you so much well done so helpful. thank you so much.
The cardio lectures with Thad wilson is so amazing and intresting but one thing i need to clarify is that it should be better to show the answer of all those questions which was asked by the students on a lectures so that i can help also
He gets straight to the point, I liked this lecture. I recommend it
Amazing explanation by Dr Pravin, it was very helpful for me during my Exams
Very nice course, I learnt a lot about how these meds works. Dr have a good and easy way to explain it
Ut is so helpful especially for my studies. I give you guys 5 star.
It was Very clear, had good retoric and the picures were easy to remeber
The party trick was a nice way to end the lecture. thank you, guys, for always giving your best to explain a topic.
Nice lecture, but i would understand this better if there were 3D animation videos....That would make it more visual and interesting...
OMG wonderfully explained .He is one among few who gives us confidence that we would remember things till exam.
This is the best app i have ever come accross for board preps Thank u lecturio...
thank you dr. Wilson . very good and easy understandable info with a lot of important topics
Best pathology lectures ever. Dr. Raj is amazing. He makes pathology easy and enjoyable.
It is really fascinating with the clarity that is expressed and the rhythm as it goes, if the proper attention and reason is given, the presentation is totally understandable
You have to read the content, watch the videos and answer the questions. Dr Raj is a great lecturer
I loved the questions attached with this lecture, very appropriate and I feel more confident in this area now.
Great lecturer, at first I didn’t understand him, but all his questions to us and explanation is superior. His humor also???? I love it
great presentation by dr. Wilson. i enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it to my colleagues
Dr. Ward goes fast but stepwise. Great presentation, well explained, very dynamic.
Love it when you can get 4 book pages of information in less than 5 minutes.
I loved his lecture . He makes it very simple to understand and he focus on the important things .
i really love how Dr Raj presented the lecture and i really love it so much especially how he explained the Atherosclerosis. And some times i love his jovial style it brings my nerves down. thanks for this wonderful lectures. love every bit of it
Dr Ward is all good but the Audio-Video do not line up for this video.
Hit all the high yield heart basics! Great explanations and use of diagrams/illustrations.
Dr Raj has an extraordinary command of medical knowledge and a fantastic way of explaining it. I love this course, which great for both medical students and practicing physicians who want to rebuild forgotten foundations.
Fantastic. High yield with clear information. Very succinct and specific. Clearly laid out and organized.
one of the best lecturer that i have seen. thank you very much, the way he is doing easy to remember all the facts.
I just love this Professor. He has made physiology quite simple. He is a true professor. I hope to meet him one time and gain from his vast knowledge face to face.
Your images really helped me visualize this process. Thank you
Clear and succinct overview of thoracic cavity. Excellent foundation to build upon
Peter Ward is great, but you need to provide animations for such a complex topic.
Really good information and well explained with good sense of humor. It's not fair when people say bad thing about Dr Raj this man is so passionate about what is doing. Great teacher!!
Easy to understand especially for first timer of this course
Thank you for all these amazing lectures and for making me love Histology.
Short, brief, simple and very informative in just one lecture.
i recomend the video to medical student, nurses and physician to learn
VERY WELL EXPLAINED VERY INFORMATIVE LOVED IT REALLY HELPED ME
great lecture realy useful im first year dentistry school in romania
I want to inform in this video you made a mistake when you talk about the AV valve right and left auscultation, you said same side! left side 4th and 5th , same side and after in the summary , you said right and left 5th and 4th, you need the develop new video! Thanks
Very fast to review, had to see it few times to assimilate.
I loved your enthusiasm in this lecture series. Thank you for making this fun
Very knowledgeable and soothing voice. Helps with remembering things more efficiently
I liked the way you explained the whole lecture in a simple way.
Great information. Nice illustrative images. Although Embryology section is quite fast but the overall picture is good.
Nice job. Thumbs up. Some review questions came before the lecture.
simply clear and good. Well captured within the 3 min and for long (I am sure) !
The information was good and high yield. However, it was very FAST!
I liked the whole Cardiac Conduction System. Thank you Professor for the lecture. Really helpful and easy to follow.
He makes cardiology super simple. All lectures and diagrams are high yield for boards.
I thought everything was explained clearly and the diagrams helped a lot, a little fast
Way too FAST. Its good information but is a lot in short time.
Clear lectures delivered at a good pace, and the questions that test your clinical reasoning skills with the content are incredibly useful.
Great lecture. Absolutely the best for boards, Keep up the great work
Temarios muy importantes. Videos con explicasiones que ayuda mucho para aprender sobre el campi de la medicina.
i never thought learning cardiac physiology would be this easy , thank you so much
clear intro, to the point and simple to understand, very simple
Professor thank you very much for such a great curse, I agree that it would be much better with cardiac sounds in real time during the explanation so our ears get accustomed to them, also the explanation should be included during the questioning section at the end of the video just like in previous lectures.
I am studying for my Anatomy and physiology class, and your lecture is truly helping me.
the lecture was amazing, you made it easy and clear to understand
Very clear explanation, understandable, good examples, clear slides and pictures.
what a pleasure to learn from the best. thanks to that lecture my concepts are cristal clear.
Finally understood how the heart works! Great job at explaining :)
Feels like it's for people who know this stuff and just wanted to review.
One of the best Lecturers on lecturio hands down. Defined one of the best explanations I’ve gotten on this topic
This course augmented my university lectures perfectly. I turned up for class today prepared to consolidate the concepts and apply the learning!
nice job! I also learn new knowledge from the profound and comprehensive lecture.
Simple way to understand the RAAS system and the meds associated with it.
Too much information in very little time and he goes way too fast. Hard to focus.
Clear and really focused lectures. Used this to pass my final physio exam. Thank you!
I love this course (Lecturio) it’s very helpfully and concentrated by amazing information and knowledge. I recommend this course for all medical staff.
To friends who are interested in learning medicine on net
Reccomend it it s very helpful i joyed warching it thank you very much
Concise and very high yield. I love the clinical illustrations provided.
cheap lecture slides put key points and words instead of just whole bunch of diagrams. at least label the diagrams
You're the best physiology teacher ever! Thanks a lot for your awesome lectures sir. You're the best!
Nice one but it would have been better explaining more how why . That should have been better. Like 1st sound . Why how
The lecture simplified the concept, it’s easier to understand and straight to the point. It’s a good post textbook review of the concept. Thank you so much!
I love Dr. Raj's way of presenting. Very engaging, intuitive in presenting the concepts and always amusing! Highly useful :)
Explanations made a complicated physiology lecture so easily understandable. Examples were clear and on point.
very good lecture, concise and high yield. very helpful for the boards
Please consider adding more questions, as an optional quiz, because I know if the quizzes are too long the circle can't go green and the time taken to go through the whole set might increase, but if you added questions as an extra choice for those wanting to be challenged that might be nice.
I liked it a lot, because the teacher explained one by one from the basic concept. Hence, I felt I could learn all the knowledge on the pathology and physiology at the same time.
Wellllll i liked the lecture but most importantly i understood, it's waaaay better then reading +12 pages ????...i think i'm gonna buy the full subscription next month(i should have done this a loooong time ago)
excellent clear description told easily thanks so much understand a lot more now
love the illustrations and the step by step explanations. Very knowledgeable !!
I really appreciate his enthusiasm and clarity. He's cheesy, but that's what makes his presentations a little more interesting.
Excellent overview. Explained thoroughly and succinctly. Thank you. Huge help.
Thank you Dr for the lectures. As an non English IMGs, I can't stop watching it again and again. Thank you again for talking slowly.
The lecturer frequently mispronounces words and stumbles as he speaks quite a bit. It was very distracting and made it hard to focus on what he was trying to say. The course needed more videos that takes about how different variables that impact Guyton curves. The questions asked after each lecture were not always covered during the lecture.
Good lecture but annoying how prof. said IONotropy when it is iNOtropy.
Nice video, succinct, and clear. Cleared some concepts up like why the mean systemic pressure changes or does not change.
I appropriate how you explain cardiac output!! I did not get it and I did study the chapter many times until I watched you and you made it so easy for me!!!
WOW, very easy way to understand the most complex part of lecture! Dr. Wilson is very relaxed, clear and knowledgeable of the subject! I would recommend this video to my classmates!! Thank you so much Dr. Wilson!!
Very clear and simple to understand! Dr. Wilson love and enjoy what he teaches!
This is really good, and easy to understand, thank you.
Excellent explanation about the cardiac cycle. The professor makes it simple to understand. The lectures have the ideal length.
The explanation is short and simple. Very easy to understand, it allows me the time to think about what is happening.
I am a Pharmacist and preparing for my exams in US. I have really find this app useful and lectures are easy comprehensive and in best way. Thanks for arranging best professors.
very nice lecture and good tips. i should follow you earlier
This section of Dr. Meyer's lecturers are clear, well organized and beautifully presented.
Very concise. Great explanations. Great distilling down the most important information.
Excellent explanation with good connection between norma and pathophysiology.Would you please show us the same lecture with real audio sounds from normal people and patients then demonstrate these maneuvers with this amazing explanation?
As general principles this can be ok.It is missing examples of ECG tracing on real ECG papers to recognize the normal mean axis in practical way.Would you please do a lecture showing the normal axis and axis deviation in hypertrophy and ischemia
I think that a lot of important concepts were not explained enough, and some at all. I did not like the way things were explained.
Explains the material well without reading off the slides. Other areas could be improved, such as EKG, but overall, he provides a good base and a much needed break between reading assignments.
Wonderful Lecture He has delivered. All contents are good Very useful affert,
Very good lectures, but one small suggestion to get this lecture to a full 5 stars. The cardiology section is lacking a lecture on endothelial cell function and properties. The Pawlina Histology text includes this subject matter in the Cardiology chapter.
Direct and to the point Very easy to understand Made the material more manageable
?ts so d?rect clear and understanble...one of best h?stology lectures so far
Absolutely brilliant. made a hard topic easy. thank you very much
Quick and to-the-point. My 1 hour medical school lecture in less than 10 minutes
(...) we're drowning in information but starved for knowledge (...) Breaking down complex information into manageable information is a kind of art to me. So THANK YOU for your artistic existence!!! Keep up your good work! By the way my coffee consumption decreased by you guys :-)
The lectures are exceptionally good, with well illustrated slides and in good animation.
I loved this course! The concepts are explained well and best of all, there are quiz questions!!
It was well explained and it consolidates key concept to better understand the materials.
Very good. I believe it is the only way to learn, through massive repetition.
The simplified approach has made learning and understanding so easy....He is such a great teacher with a deep understanding of his subject area....
Very good explanations. However, I do think there should be more details, for example, more explanations on pressures.
Excellent, I really like Professor Meyer's explanation and the images are superb quality.
I loved how you dissected the topic so clearly, making clear distinctions between the different classes of drugs, how they work, where they work, why we use them and who needs them. GREAT lecture.
Two of the quiz questions are wrong to me, either have multiple answers or incorrect answer.
Communicates at a good rate and audible tone ,explains concepts well to begginers and intermeddiate level students .Thank you!
I was going to give it a five stars but in the lecture you said during respiration the heart moves down and up but in the quiz the right answer was up and down..
I recommend this for any one in medical school who is looking for high yield information.
Dr. Shukle is amazing. His lecture is so clear and "pin points" what we need to know. Thanks for your help !
This is an excellent review and update of cardiac physiology.
This is such a confusing topic for me and most professors talk through it rather quickly. I appreciate how he connected the dots in a way that has been much easier to understand than the other lectures I have listened to. This is the only explanation that stuck! Kudos, and thanks a million!
This course is near impossible to take for a European, as our curriculum is structured differently than in the US. Dr. Raj keeps referring to diseases that may have been covered in another video, and sometimes he just refers to them by acronym, not even a full name, so redundant are they. But for a European who hasn't had that part yet, using them as an example to explain a concept means we don't understand the concept at all.
I am a thirteen year old girl who wants to become an MD when I grow up, and I've been studying anatomy independently for about half a year, and lecturio helps me so much! This lecture is very in-depth and explanatory, if you want to learn about the heart then you should watch this video!
Instructor is thorough and entertaining. The material is presented in a logical and straightforward manner, which is easy to comprehend and provides an excellent overview of the medical subjects needed to complete USMLE Step 2
This is very unclear and annoying, everything is everywhere and is hard to figure out what we need to do
Dr. Raj is a bit abrasive in his style. I don't really like the way he acts like a drill Sargent. But the content is good
Yes it is a virtual platform, I would say, for millions of aspiring medial students. I am sure that it will help me lot during the whole course of my medical education and cracking those tough exams like USMLE to name . Thanks Lecturio...
very good.it is one of the best video of cardiology.
Everything is clearly explained by the lecturer. In case of student´s questions, the lecturer gives a detailed answer. Thank you!
very clear, easy to understand, slides (pictures and tables) are very helpful to memorize the content
Very good course, it explians well many things, but maybe it cpuld be a little more specific
Very good course, it helps you to understand better the way the heart works by simplifying the contents.
LOL That adenosine mental image will NEVER leave me ajajajajajaja
I've been through almost the whole course, and I found it extremely helpful!
The most logical, clinically/exam relevant, compact, yet complete information you are going to get for cardio pharm. He explains in a way that is relevant to the pathophys. Very grateful!
I've been watching through and writing notes your videos til this one (thank you so much for making this easy and understandable while staying on a detailed level that I need for my exams) BUT there's something that wasn't that clear to me. What did you mean on the slide about type 2, where you mentioned Mobitz? Sentence nr2 of the 3 didn't make much sense to me.
Thank you!! Finally understood this after years of studying it over and over again... I can't believe it was so simple!! Thank you so much!
I enjoyed the breakdown of each intricate part of the system. I feel that I understand pharmacology better, especially digoxin and its effect on the heart.
I will choose Lecturio over any other online medical lectures. Your team of lecturers are so Superb. This lecture has thought me a lot and all details I need to know about Cardiovascular histology. Thanks a lot Dr. Meyer and Lecturio.
Information are organized very well: all concepts that I have studied on my physiology book in some weeks, are here summarized in short lectures that took me an afternoon to go through it. I would strongly recommend it.
Fantastic lectures and course. I am a critical care nurse and like to review these lectures to refresh my knowledge on topics. These lectures are perfect for remembering heart physiology and gaining a better understanding of some of the more difficult concepts.
I use Goljan and Pathoma for pathology and my med school "assigns" reading from Robbins Pathology. All three are great resources for preclinical pathology courses and Goljan and Pathoma are the go-to's for every medical students prep for Step 1. Dr. Raj is not like his mentor Dr. Goljan. I have yet to see a true pathogenesis lecture or even see histological images of any of the heart diseases (he barely even has gross images of cardio pathology). He spends time covering management/treatment when he should be covering relevant preclinical pathology. I had high hopes from a guy whose mentor is Dr. Goljan. Hopefully his other pathology subjects are better.
Good pathofis; understanding the basics helps alot; its alot of info and trying to wire it in my head isnt easy; But it was a good explantion
Dr. Shunkle provides a great explanation of the RAAS. The lecture follows nicely along with my book and studies.
Lectures are clear and concise and hit high yield topics for USMLE Step 1.
The video was very helpful and the information communicated was good. But, a deeper explanation of the right answer would be helpful.
Love the fact that the topic is split into bitesize clips and the focus is on understanding first then learning second.
Generally good lecture but there are tons of typos everywhere on the slides for cardiac physiology and I'm pretty sure he misspeaks occasionally. Make sure you use another resource to fact check
Highly educational lectures from a very charismatic lecturer. I liked it very much!
Good clear. Covered high yield concepts. The professor uses good visuals but they equations could be refined (e.g., all fractions written top and bottom)
Simple, easy to understand diagrams and an EXCELLENT lecturer! Easy to follow and very dynamic and fun. I've enjoyed watching all of these lectures. Covers a great deal of content.
Very clear and dynamic conference. It is really appreciated. Thank you Dr.
You make pharmacology so much less intimidating and much easier to understand. Thanks!
Explains tricky concepts in a very basic manner. Would def recomend
Very concise & straight to the point I am glad I stumbled into this creative site.
It gets easier to understand hard topics with these videos
Another excellent series that makes complex material approachable. Great instructor and great charisma. I tell everyone at pa school to use this system to really learn the why's and how's that we occasionally skip.
Very good overview of cardiac physiology. Explained many concepts very clearly!
This course has taught alot of things I didn't know, as well as highlited things that are obviously High Yield. The teachings are very simplistic and make things easy to understand. This would be a great product for any IMG such as myself.
As in most courses in physiology, I think many concepts in this course require more elaborate explanation; probably with simple animations/illustrations that make learning and retention easier.
I am constantly looking for good videos on youtube that coincide with my med school curriculum. Now that I have Lecturio, I can access videos all in one place. I haven't found a comprehensive resource quite like this one. The lectures seem to follow my curriculum quite well and hit a lot of the same topics. This is great because it only reinforces what I need for success on exams and boards. I am still figuring out how to best use this resource. For now, I am watching the lectures that follow my class work at school! Thank you!
Nice I reviewed the Medications of Cardiovascular in Just 2 hours so that I can back to the text with great background with all these medications
