Hematology and Oncology–Pathology

by Carlo Raj, MD

Learning hematopathology has never been so easy and efficient!

Hematopathology is the study of diseases and disorders affecting blood cells, their production, and their development. Why not start with red blood cell pathology and improve your knowledge of the various types of anemia? Dr. Carlo Raj will explain the different types, such as microcytic, normocytic, and hemolytic anemia. Further content will be available soon.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to easily answer all questions on hematopathology, which is very important since it is one of the central topics in the USMLE Step 1.

Before taking this course, you should already have a strong foundation in the basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology. MD Carlo Raj will not only familiarize you with the concepts but, in doing so, will help you build a long-term understanding of hematopathology. As a result, you will master the boards and become a better physician.

Best overview.
By Ricardo N. on 28. November 2019 for Microcytic Anemia – Red Blood Cell Pathology (RBC)

This MCA course was great to watch because it covered topics in enough detail to truly understand the concepts without going into the super details that can sometimes make the topics more confusing than they have to be.

Great summary!
By Mariel R. on 25. November 2019 for Malaria

Loved that it was concise and very well explained, it summarized the key points of malaria and gave great examples.

Contradiction
By GMU L. on 20. November 2019 for Biochemistry of Megaloblastic Anemia

The name of the lecture was very contradicting to the material given. In addition, I felt that the explanation as everywhere there was no proper structure of things.
