Management of the Adult in Primary Care will guide learners through relevant assessments, screenings, diagnostic techniques, clinical manifestations, and management options for various pathophysiological conditions affecting adults in the primary care setting.

Content focuses on differentiation of expected physical and psychological findings from pathophysiologic changes within the scope of primary care health promotion and maintenance. To maximize learning from this course, students should have basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, developmental milestones, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics.
