Precious sharing, Dr Rhonda is real good role model for being a nurse and a teacher. Thank you very much!
Quick but thorough review of the content. Appreciate the mnemonic.
Content is ok, but she reads off the slides almost verbatim which is distracting and unhelpful. It would be better if there were fewer words on each slide. I'mn sure this isn't the case, but I get the impression that she doesn't have a solid grasp of the content, hence the slide reading line by line.
Very clear and to the point. But gives understanding from a beginning to an ending which builds an overall picture.
goog lecture however felt difficult to understand concepts , if examples with relating explanation might have included, and might have helped me a lot
An excellent introduction to an important and sometimes overlooked area. The delivery is outstanding, clear, calm, expert.
Quick and very clear overview on the main aspects of schizophrenia
I love Lecturio and already recommended to my colleagues. Thank you so much!
Love the different fun facts about warriors in Sparta etc...
helpful for learning about the differences between antidepressants, and giving insights into MOA, which he makes less intimidating for someone to learn
logical process of behavior change and decision-making using cognitive theory
The topics were easy to understand, well outlined and very informative
It is very easy to understand the topic and well organized
Dr Farrell is an excellent instructor who empowers her students with examples that help each pathology in psychiatry be more understandable. All of your instructors have been ideal and Dr Farrell is helping me prepare for my Psychiatry clerkship in another week. Thank you all for teaching that will help our future patients! i chose this rating because , lecturio gave me broader understanding of this topic Helen did a great job with explaining the concept, and i love it. i will always recommend lecturio to my friends in medical school, until everyone gets to know about this great opportunity to learn smartly.
Very clear and precise. Order of chapterd was sometimes confusing(back and forth)
i really enjoy your lectures, I learn a lot from it, you really give a hundred percent on it, especially in this one about depression, it was amazing, I have it stamp on my brain how it feels to a patient who goes thru depression. Thank you, so much.

Precise required information and it is very simple and understanding
Thank you for sharing your story. It touched my heart and gave me encouragement. I love listening to your lecture. Your lecture is so clear and simple to understand. You are an awesome teacher!
The lectures are very well structured. They give ample examples of what potential cases may look like. We are encouraged to think about how to apply this knowledge in practice. Throughout this course, the subsequent lectures reference previously learned concepts, so that we have a clearer understanding of the differences and similarities between the topics.
This Doctor is fantastic i love her approach of teaching

VERY INTERESTING METHOD, NOT BORING AT ALL! THANK YOU DOCTOR
Clear and concise! It linked to my knowledge of addiction and reinforced my understanding. I particularly enjoyed the breakdown of addiction into physical and psychological dependence
great she is incredible, very articulate has speaks with meaningful words
The title is quite misleading. I would recommend to split the part with neuroleptic malignant syndrome & atypical drugs for better functionality. However, the content is great
Las lecturas están completas, tienen la información completa, y las explicaciones de la doctora muy buenas y fáciles de entender.
Clear elaboration of dopamine pathways , I understand them better after Dr. Helen's lecture
Clear and precise. A difficult topic made simple. I found it helpful
great lectures by Dr. Helen Farell, it really helps me a lot
The presentation was EXCELLENT and straight to the point. Of all the videos I have been busy with, this has been my absolute favourite! Thank you to this great doctor!
I thought the ideas posed in the lecture were well presented and easily understood.
went through almost all the important points in very simple and understandable terms
the topic is very well structured I must say. Great lecturer!
I really appreciate most of the lextures by D Farrell. One thing is surprisingly missing Is : Schizoaffective disorders. The other thing is that i Didn’t hear in detail about « oppositional defiant Disorder » and nothing about« Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder ».
I learnt a lot in a little time. I’m loving the delivery Style of the Presenter / Instructor so much.
Dr Farel is great. She presents things very well. Everything is clear. Important things are pinpointed. The chronology (diagnostic, etiology, Clinics, treatment...) is well put. It’s a pleasure to listen.
Thought I wouldn't like it, but think Helen is a very good psychiatrist
Well explained and easier to understand. Wishing I had it earlier before my exams.
Interesting and enjoyable ! I would suggest practical model how to calculate the doses of methadone to taper the cocaine withdrawal effect !
Este curso ha sido de los mejores, creo que la Dra. tiene un amplio conocimiento del tema y lo explica de manera que es muy fácil entender
It was really nice! I learned more about other people who are involved with Behavioral Theories.
Although the instructor is knowledgeable, the lecture is boring that I am not able to comprehend completely.
Its very good presentation and I think its very important subject for every single medical practitioner , I would like to be more comprehensive regard interpretations , remedies and medical scenarios especially in two group of Patients a geriatric patient and the executive young professional !
it is very precise and to the point with clear explanations.
This lecture is a very good one and its contents are precise. I will definitely recommend this lecture to anyone.
Todo muy preciso, deja en claro los tipos, fue una muy buena introducción
I choose to rate this because of the information is very informative, simple and understandable, not bombarded with too much information and the videos are short
Valuable information for students and for every day life. i had not considered the behavioral effects rocking a baby to sleep could have.
Straightforward and covers all bases without reading off the slides too much.
I like Dr. Helens lectures! Seems that’s she knows her specialty wonderfully and she explains everything very clearly.
Yo recomiendo este video, lastima no hay mas de TEA
Khan Academy shows the path it takes for a message to be received which is missing from this video (i.e. the target characteristics first determine whether the message or source is evaluated). "The central route is used when the message recipient has the motivation as well as the ability to think about the message and its topic" "The peripheral route is used when the message recipient has little or no interest in the subject and/or has a lesser ability to process the message." Both should be on the same slide introducing the concepts of central/peripheral routes. "The theory states that when people observe a model performing a behavior and the consequences of that behavior, they remember the sequence of events and use this information to guide subsequent behaviors" Should be the definition of SCT. Much clearer.
I like these lectures, and hope to give more examples about each PD
The lectures are simple, short videos that doesn't take much time, and I like the articles that come with it
very good, I liked the professionalism of Dr. Shukle and the key points delivered. high yield for memorization and text applications
I gave this rating due to the fact that the lecturer reads from the slides and often gets sidetracked from actually explaining the material. This gives the impression that there is a very poor understanding of the material being taught as it simply does not flow naturally. The slides are somewhat descriptive and that makes this series passable.
Very clearly defines terms with great clinical examples (delusion, hallucination, illusion). I feel like most people talk about these terms and assume most people can tell the difference even though they are very similar. It was nice to sit down and actually learn the major differences.
It would be better to include its adverse effects and signs of toxicity
It could have been a little bit more in depth. Otherwise it is good for understanding the very basic things.
This course is very interesting and helping! Thank you very much!
it was very interesting, I have never heard about the issues, it helped me to understand my sexuality and my sexual drives more. Since it is considered a taboo to talk it was very enjoyable to learn something from a pro. But I think she need to be more comfortable with the camera.
disappointing, shallow, read off, almost not talking about the treatment
The lectures have been clear and concise. The quiz questions on each lesson, however, could be more challenging or application based.
Very informative and interesting. It had a blast listening to this lecture
It was a very good explanation I found this useful thank you
The lecture was very well explained with very practical examples
Material contains pretty much everything I need to know. I have noticed a few typed errors but not enough to disturb the learning experience.
This video provides a wonderful breakdown of the pros and cons of different treatment options, I especially enjoyed the explanation of different types of benzos. Thank you!

Dr. Lynae definitely knows how to teach in a way that a student can understand. I would recommend this lecture to anyone.
This was a good lecture. I am trying to take all of the Free Classes offered by Lecturio, so as to improve my own health. I appreciate this lecture, because it is offered by an instructor who has a real medical background. It is very easy to follow Dr. Helen Farrell's line of reasoning. The main points are also fairly easy for me to follow on the screen, because you provide these lecture notes to the student. The quiz helps me to see how well I grasp the information you explain in the lecture. Thank you so much for this offer.
Very helpful work from Dr.Farrell, Thank you very much.
Doctor Farrell did an exceptional job presenting the material in detail and is sincere about her teaching role. Outstanding!
I choose this rating because the course have the best way to mastering the most important themes of personality disorders.
Bupropion is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor with some seetotenegic activity. It is also one of the most potent CYP2D6 inhibitors of the antidepressants. The previous antidepressant review lecture also had a mistake in which it was stated that “venlafaxine is used for smoking cessation” which is incorrect
The disorders are well explained, the examples help to understand more easily and the therapeutic approach for these patients is useful
It was concise and direct and I liked it very much.
Short, succinct and straight to the point. The high yield stuff. The need to know. Saved me countless hours of mind numbing reading, most of which I'd probably forget anyway! Love it.
Very helpful in understanding the practical aspects. Questions well framed to help better understand the topic and lectures are very comprehensive and keep you glued till the very end.
In my opinion, she's talking a bit too slow and sounds unnatural as though she's reading a textbook. Still, the lecture is ok.
I chose this coz am able to memorise. Facts about the sedatives and hypnotics
There are some mistakes. SERT is not a serotonin receptor. And Bupropion is not a SERT inhibitor.
the most I like it of this course is the rapid review that you can do in a short period of time, the doctor is very clear and emphasized in some aspects that are important for the exam.
physical activity , smoking cessation, unhealthy diet ,obesity, overweight, alcohol, change behavior
It covered high yield material , that was sufficiently explained in a timely fashion
I really like the way she explains the subject so calm with many clinical examples. I definitely recommend it.

The videos are short which fit into my busy schedule and they provide rich content which is focused on high yield information. This information is necessary to not only do well on exams but to be successful in the profession!
It was a precise course overview of human development, and it is really useful to start learning pediatrics basics.
The MSE is clearly explained in this video. Thank you very much!
I like very much because is very well explained and very organised.. It contains all necessary and important information about anti-psychotics
As a final year medical student with little to no background in psychiatry and starting my final term in psychiatry in a couple of weeks, I found the the introduction useful, well covered and interesting. I look forward to learning more about the disorders in future videos.
Was great help in deciphering between all the personality disorders as a PA studying for EOR Exams.
This is the best teacher i have understood the most. I loved everything really. I would recommend my fellow classmates
I LOVED THE LECTURE I WILL RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS HOPE TO SEE MANY MORE OF THIS KIND VIDEOS
Nice speed and good lecture notes. Our uni doesn't cover toxicology well and this course was perfect for revision.
I Like That's Concept...Just Easier to understand all of medicine
Precise use of terms and definitions Practical suggestions with no information overload References of landmark publication or concise textbooks on the domain discussed will strenghten the reader's interest.
Really good not boring at all for being this particular subject
