Disorders of reproductive hormones can lead to over- or underdeveloped reproductive organs, virilization or feminization, and problems with fertility. An understanding of the basic physiology of reproductive hormones can help clinicians better understand not only the pathology but also the interventions that can improve patients’ lives.
