These series are the most easy to understand and the most complete ever. Also I love your way of explaining and your humour. Please make more of these!
Excellent lecture on the pathological timeline of MI and IHD.
Thank you. I´m going to present this topic at my hospital.
Clear and straight to the point! Potentially difficult stuff becomes super easy with him!

Excellent lecture on the pathological timeline of MI and IHD.
Thank you. I´m going to present this topic at my hospital.
Clear and straight to the point! Potentially difficult stuff becomes super easy with him!
The graphs were not explained well, really confusing. The presentation slides were not going with what the professor was saying.
I had to google most of the terms. Interpreted the chart on my own. The information was all there but it was not explained properly.
Probably the best lecturer on lecturio. He engages directly and makes the learning easier. All of the lectures on the valvular heart diseases have been engaging and humorous, and cater to a real world like setting which is important.
i love all his lectures. i like that he always repeats everything compared to others.
Dr. Carlo always finds a way to make subjects easy to learn and remember, he has a unique way to give his lectures.
Sublime talk about so many topics, correlating systems, comming from the basics, using only one image, congratulations Dr Raj. Totally recommended and worth to watch over and over.
why does he teach in such a patronizing manner? Whenever I see that Raj MD is teaching the subject I go elsewhere to learn.
Thank you this was extremely helpful as I study for the NCLEX
Dr. Carlo Raj explains valvular heart diseases much better than the lecturer of valvular diseases under the cardiology subject of Lecturio.
The treatment options, steps, and the overall approach to STEMI and NSTEMI patients was absolutely insufficient in this video compared to the information we must know for exams. So vague. Most of us are medical students, we know we have to use beta blockers, the real questions are when and how much? He should've gone over a systemic approach to such patients. The initial management and etc.
I was super confused about PBC and PSC but Dr. Raj made it clear! love his style of teaching
Professor explains everything clearly, makes it easy to understand.. and also correlates with the differentials
Although the course gives you a good desccription of the liver anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, it doesn't touch on treatment and reasons for commencing a particular treatment.
Concise and on the spot lectures help me review and catch up the core problems
Excellent concise and precise. Oh! I love how Dr. Raj emphasize on important these. Cracks me up and keeps me engaged. Thanks
Learnt so much, the explanations are clear and understandable. The lecturer's explanations was easy to follow
not sure how to connect some things or how they link up. just difficult to follow and conceptualise
I really enjoy Dr Raj’s delivery of the course content ; I will happily listen to more of his lectures
The lower reviews than normal kept me from watching Dr. Raj, he is stellar.
Dr Carlo gives maximum emphasis on conceptual understanding of the topic rather than just reading slides
Please do not eliminate this Cardiovascular Lectures by Doctor Carlo Raj, having 2 proffesors at the same time for the same topic is very usseful.
Great teacher Dr Raj. Thank you a lot! Worth it
Dr. Raj has a way of engaging the student that is second to none. He is very good at what he does.
I love this guys teaching style, its very active. normally lecturers read of the slides
I like it very much: Great lectures, good association with physiology. Cons: A hard to understand accent at the beginning.
This course is very helpful to learn about the cell and it's pathology.
I like Dr Raj, in general he is a very good teacher but breast pathology is not good.
he speaks too fast and goes too fast while lecturing i wants more explanations not like this
As always, Dr. Raj is an outstanding teacher. I just love the way he drills concepts into my brain by connecting all the subjects together from biochemistry to pharmacology. You leave a topic with a thoroughly cohesive understanding of the subject. Teaching is a talent and Dr. Raj has it.
I love Dr. Raj's style of explanation. Excellent as always.
I'd recommend to watch from here. You could also start with pancreas. But, I think this might be a better step 1 for me.
Dr. Raj taught with clinical scenarios in view. I like the fact that he gives acronyms.
Just amazing!!! Dr Raj is great teacher and really cool man!
I think Dr. Raj is the best lecturer, he explains briefly everything we need in med school for exam and for our practice life as a doctors, so I am so glad and thankfull to lecturio teem and Dr. Raj. I was the only one who understand everything about liver diseases in the school today. Thank you
Dr. Raj is very good. He is a bit fast and I sometime have a difficult time to clearly hear him. Your price range is a bit too high for retired people like me who would like to learn practical things like the EKG, endocrine system etc… just enough to better understand our doctors if and when we have a health condition.
SubhanAllah. Great however it is much easier to understand after going through the main points beforehand like a powerpoint slide or brief summaries, before proceeding with this series. Explained by a very good professor.
Dr. Raj!!!! You are my idol!!!! I love everything you, do you run a residency program?
Best professor I've come across on lecturio. He makes the subject so much fun
Mr carlo raj know what i want to know in this class
The professor seems to be too cold and the video could have way more images and interactions. I don't like this kind of video
Very useful content with a good basis to understand the more serious presentations of IHD. It is also very well presented
The breakdown of the different components and step-wise progression through the content is very useful. Additionally the amount of information provided is perfect for the level of knowledge required. Dr Raj is a fantastic presenter and has a terrific style.
Yes . Hello Lecturio Team and Doctor Carlo Raj. Brilliant lectures It has great content and differentials are highlighted really well. Especially key points are described excellently . Many thanks indeed.
love this guy but I'm sure it's just stockholm syndrome
Raj!!! Lecturio couldn't have picked a better physician to teach us.
too little information even about therapy and moa. Dr Raj is literally reading the slides. i can do it by myself.
Brief but accurate in its presentation and what is included. Thank you.
cannot understand a word. info given are too summary and unconnected
Great course, well explained, love how he connects the physiology with the lectures so you can see how they are related.
Short to the point and very helpful for quick revision
clear speaking, easy to understand, fun short lecture. I found it helpful to review the basic concept of HTN and its urgency vs emergency approach. Thanks!
Dr. Raj makes the lecture more interesting with how he delivers the topic and the explanations behind it. His constant repetition of the topic makes one retain the information by heart. He is very smart and knows the topic very well the way he says it. I like all of his discussions…
I like it, definitely i will recommend this to my fellow classmate. Thank you Lecturio. Thank you Carlo Raj, MD
Very well done!! I would do amazing things if I learned under him during residency.
alright. I liked the lecture. I think it was quite relatable
top lecture from my man, only writing this to submit 5 star review
Great information, current guidelines and recommendations are displayed neat and concise .
Dr. Raj is my fav lecturer on here without a doubt. He's teaching excellently. I really am angry towards morons who have suboptimal Iq for med school and make comments about how Dr. Raj is bad lol. I wish all lecturers were like Dr. Raj, to be honest. I really don't like to see lecturers who try to simplify as much as possible. They're teaching like you're an idiot. It's not really unfortunate that people who have suboptimal Iqs don't love Dr. Raj which is fine BUT please don't try to remove Dr. Raj lectures and replace the old lectures.
very well outline and simplified presentation. Good wits combined with serious discussion
Very clear and helpful to understand the physio. Dr. Raj's lecture also was great because he went step by step and explained the stages more like a story which makes it easier to remember.
Very Irritating describing method. Im sorry for saying like that.
As always, Dr. Raj is helping me understand. Absolutely love it.
very good intro to heart blocks. I think next few lectues would also help if details are provided.
Cardiology is only fun when you understand it not memorize it and that's exactly what Dr. Raj is doing. He makes people understand and builds a solid base.
Dr. Raj is an excellent teacher. He makes me wanna study more and I'm looking forward to listen to his lectures. I think he's one of the best in lecture and most definitely my favourite teacher thus far. Cardiology is hard to understand for stupid people no matter how hard he tries to simplify. I understand why other people don't like him. They want plain lectures where the lecturer reads slides only. Medicine is not for dummies fellas.
Guy seems cross and the lecture is lacking in context and flow
Very detailed explanation of each valvular heart disease. Dr. Raj made sure that each student understands the basic concepts for long term learning and preventing short term cramming. Thank you Dr. Raj.
Again an excellent lecture from Dr Raj. I love this man to be honest
Dr. Raj's lectures are great for learning something. Best of the bests
The best thing about Dr Raj is that his way of teaching is very dynamic and this keeps you in the lecture and makes you stay focused during the lecture. He is an excellent guy. I don't like plain and simple lectures, they are very boring. Also after I listened to his lectures, I don't just memorize, I learn. Best regards
I have to repeat everything he says three times because of his way of expressing himself, I don't mean the accent, thats fine, but how he puts his sentences together for explaining something is confusing. This is being made way worse by the graphics and the fact that he can't point at what he actually means while he explains it. Also there is no legend to the curves that he explains.
I found the information informative and helpful. I truly enjoyed Dr. Raj. He has that je ne sais quoi, going on!!!!
Thank you very much for explaining this topic well. After a look through several youtube videos this was the best one!
great lecure and wide coverage of key poinds like investigations. I like the style and the content. Thanks
good points covered. clinically relevant. good cases. thanks! I enjoyed this lecture.
very good lecture. high yield. excellent coverage of the topics.
I hadnt understood the condition until this lecture. Well expalined.
I dont know why on earth someone gave this 1 star. Excellent summary. As aways to the point.
clarified some of my misconceptions like the type of nutritional def associated with the condition and which parts of the bowel is affected. I am unsure why people gave it 3 star.
this topic is well explained and the discussion is clinically correlated. Thanks
good review of the topic. I am unsure why someone has given it 3 stars. Cant fault it.
such a good lecuture. Covers the topic in a broad sense. good clinical value.
my favourite lecturer. great lecture on such a complex topic
Thank you for such a good lectue. This has clarified things in my head and organize the topc.
very good approach to the problem of dysphagia, clear algorithm to reaching the diagnosis.
Mr. Raj is awesome, I like his lecturing style a lot. Thanks!
Great explanation, It's great how the lecturer takes the time to guide our mental process. He´s so far my favorite lecturer.
pretty helpful to explain the pathophysiology behind every condition makes it much easier to relate each sign to the underlying pathology
speech not fluent and hard to listen to. too basic and not useful
This Professor makes this topic seem fun. He really seems to want his viewers to understand the material. He points out potential board questions while he teaches. It’s really great.
Very good class, very dynamic teacher, excellent for learning, 5 stars
Very good class, very dynamic teacher, excellent for learning, 5 stars
the graphs are not at all explained and vague terms are used which confuses the concept
the speaker didnt mention at all serology and markers. insufficient information
great tutor, very informative and direct to the point helped a lot
Absolutely amazing videos! So easy to understand and retain. Thank you !
Dr Raj is my favorite lecturer on this site! I love his lectures and hope I see him more in future topics I need to study.
making simple subjects more difficult, very bad examples and constant joking which makes understanding hard. the way he explains topics from last to first makes it difficult to follow and remember
Just wanted to say after reading frequent comments on here, try not to take Dr. Raj's commentary too personally. He's not talking about YOU specifically when he says "why would you do that?".. He's just pointing out common mistakes that people make. I personally like it because it helps me identify areas where I might have gotten mixed up later. It's just his style- I doubt his intention is to be demeaning. He's trying to really solidify the information from a variety of angles, that's all.
not a good presentation. complicating simple ideas with alot of empty words
Love this lecturer. He helps you look at the topic from several different angles.
Muy buena clase, muy dinámico y claro a la hora de explicar, 100% recomendada, además enfatiza en temas importantes
With this topic is easy to get lost ini all the details and I think he made a good overview to not forget de bi image when we get in the details
I felt as though these lectures were core. They covered areas that you can use in almost every system. I felt like they will boost my NBME score in a massive way. It helped me tremendously! I’m almost tempted to take an NBME just to see the effects, but not yet... I still have a little more ground to cover. I want to at least review all the foundational videos.
What a nice content. I am very grateful to the professional God given and really teachers by birth! Thanks so much.
The presentation was simple and very very effective, I liked how the Dr. kept joking from time to time *otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to really absorb all that information at once* Thank you so much for these absolutely wonderful lectures. Regards, Afaf Al-Awlaqi
very well explained. I would recommend this lecture to any medical student. I enjoyed every bit of it.
All the HTN lectures were clear and concise. The concepts were made digestible and easy to recall during exams. For me, I found them helpful while reviewing my lectures.
Quick and concise great delivery of a difficult topic, obviously get the basics first before this lecture!
I love how he explains why CCBs and digoxin are contraindicated in WPW and also review of how digoxin isn't useful for MAT
Great integration of concepts in EKG, heart sounds, etc. Dr. Raj does not disappoint!
Dr. Raj is one of my favorite teachers on Lecturio. He makes everything sounds so interesting and fun. His love for the profession makes me fall in love with medicine all over again.
Dr. Raj teaches concepts in such a way that you'll understand AND memorize everything. Each lecture is outstanding.
It was very comprehensive and easy to understand . I loved how chronological information is
I think that this is the kind of teacher that every med school should have. Personally, I like how he integrates all the information that it is given across the whole carrer. As a fifth year student from another country I would like that every class of lecturio be like the classes of Dr. Raj. Seriously, the integration is everything when you are in a rotation in front of a patient.
If you want your education to elevate to another level, to be ready for rotations, and to be the best medical professional you want to be....listen to DR. Raj!
Dr Raj is so good at reminding associated pathologies!!! Perfect for an overview
Very Nice Lecture. He has a unique way of teaching topics and make us remember stuff and give a foundation on medicine. His Integrative Teaching method is very Good. Perfect Lecturer for Pathology
He has a unique way of approaching to the subject which makes me learn topics with ease. A really top class faculty for Pathology.
i liked it very much, sometimes the style of the Dr. its quite difficult to follow but nevertheless the content is good for a proper review, you do have to know the basic stuff of patho/phsy though
Wonderful faculty Dr Carlo Raj. He has a unique style of Teaching which gives us the full Concept and a complete grip on the Topic. Makes difficult topics Easy to Learn.
...I don’t believe his accent isn’t hard to understand? Very concise and straight to the point. Helped me understand hemodynamics foundation much better than most lectured videos. Thank you Dr. Raj !
The lecture is concise and to the point. It is just the information I need, but also thorough. I appreciate how the physician walks me through a case from initial presentation all the way through treatment.
He's just brilliant, and I'm so engaged and interested. He's making me love Cardiology!
Dr. Raj lecture is filled with “dramatic expressions” that made understanding/memorizing information easier. Dr. Raj appears to be passionate about his work, making his lectures enjoyable.
Lectures by dr.Carlo Raj are very attractive, well organised and fast flowing. Thank you very much!
Amazing, safe my time, on that time when I was taking license exam,I created my own audio, more than 600 pages liten only in 24 hours, I have no word to say thanx all brelient Dr ,they are still providing me to start my new journey, I will success inshaallah but take time i will not give up my study will belo g to those they need me, Thanx again all DR KHAN
The content is mediocre and he patronizes the listener; if he cut out the condescension and focused on teaching it could be improved. I see why they add some talk over portions with another speaker.
His unique style keeps my mind engaged. He reinforces other concepts and paints a picture of the clinical presentation.
Whereas I was at first put off a bit by Dr. Raj's style of teaching, I became more and more appreciative of his pedagogic method, soliciting and emphasizing the integration of basic physiology, pharmacology and anatomy in understanding and treating (the pathology underlying) clinical syndromes (of the multiple organ systems). Indeed, the process becomes very stimulating and ultimately satisfying as one becomes able to retrieve and integrate all the basic knowledge in solving clinical diagnosis and treatment.
Very annoying style of presentation. I do Cancer research for a living in the USA and I found a lot of problems with this presentation.
Its was perfect explanation But not 5 since i still have questions
if i wanted monotoned reading i would have read textbooks instead of watching this video.
Although the content its hard to understand, the teacher makes a really good job at keeping us focused on the important bits. Thank you
Dr Raj has awesome gift of explaining medicine :) Thank you, dr Raj :)
I have really been enjoying Hypertension course, in particular the Pathophys! It has been answering my previous dilemmas in the topic. For example, this 49 yo male diagnosed with HTN 2 yrs ago, previously had no chronic illness, was screened negative for Diabetes. His GP initiated him on Captopril and Bendrofluethiazide , now currently on Captopril 25 mg BD and Bendrofluethiazide 5mg, but his average BP has ever been around 152/100 mmHg. He has been struggling with weight control (BMI 31 or slightly above). I have been contemplating it is not a good control, and 2 days ago he called me complaining of visual impairment both eyes! Now I am thinking of Secondary HTN with Atherosclerosis as a Differential , oh again and a need for complete eye exam including Fondoscopy, again thinking ECG, Lipid panel and Renal Function test would be beneficial!. He have never done these tests because of affordability issue. ALL THE THOUGHT ABOVE COMES FROM MY CURRENT HYPERTENSION COURSE. BUT MOSTLY AN OPPORTUNITY OF FREE ACCESS TO PREMIUM CONTENT! HOW I PRAY GOD HELP ME SO THAT I PAY BACK TO MY COMMUNITY! I forever grateful please, Receive my kind and warm regards this Special day! Aron Okwir.
Dr. Raj speaks too fast to understand and his teaching style is strange making the concepts harder to understand than needed. He speaks fast through things we need to learn and slow through things less relevant.
Poor presentation. It's just like he is reading out from study material. Lacks concepts.
Exactly what I needed to hear while studying for Step 2. Thank you Dr. Raj for drilling it in my brain the "right" way.
Muy completa la explicación y clara, además de correlacionar muy bien la fisiología con la clínica y semiología. Muy buenos tips semiológicos.
just don't get this lecturer but I found this chaotic and very poorly structured
Such personality! Loved your lecture Dr. Raj! Keep up the good work!
Make me understand this so well. Thanks you Dr. Carlo Raj
Great overview! I personally loved to picture the concepts and pathophysiology in my mind.
Dr. Raj uses a conversational and repetitive lecture style that really helped me actually be able to learn and recall the material. I suppose some people may not like this taking a bit longer, but considering the fact that I was able to remember and learn the entire mechanism and pathology in around 20 minutes I think this style works well for long-term learning.
Excellent class. It help me so much to separate what is really important, from what it's not. Very clear
Mr. Carlo Raj has a particulary way of teaching that makes me get involved and really understand the content. He repeats the key concepts so many times so when the lesson finishes i have achieve the most important knowledge of such mater.
Another perfect lecture! I finally understood this theme after a long period trying with another material. Thanks a lot Dr Raj
Very good, complete, didatic and simplyfied, i loved this lecture. thank you, Dr Raj
It was really perfect . When I was at med school , I couldnt understand anything but with Doctor Raj , I understood the real patho . Thank u so much :))
An excellent way of explaining the abnormal rhythms associated with different pathologies!
Pure lecturing by Carlo Raj , as usually... jumping ahead and then circling back to the same point . 50% of his speech - just irrelevant noise/stupid joking.
Carlo Raj simply read the slides, he could've said so much more about this important topic...
Awesome, can add liitle more on ppts(just for understanding/while recalling)
having more pictures when explaining the heart will be better to understand.
Dr Raj teaches really well. And it is not boring. Actually he makes me want to learn more.
AS ALWAYS DR.CARLO RAJ IS A MAGICIAN (WHO CONVERTS TOUGH TOPICS =EASY TOPICS)
Very, very nice, thanks a lot for the big help doctor
I do not have a major problem with the material he teaches, although sometimes he just points out to the facts and skips explanations. My major issue is with the overall demeanor of Dr. Raj while he is teaching. He tries to come across as someone cool and the George Clooney of the lecturio and it's very annoying and distracting. At least for me. For those who haven't noticed, look at his facial expression when delivering a lecture. I wish he would just lecture plane and simple without resorting to " hey you know I'm cool, right?". I try not to look at him and just stare at the slides to minimize this effect.
The lectures here are very easy to understand. I use these lectures to supplement my studies. 4 stars because I do feel that more questions should be added, even incorporating the use of logic not only just recall, should be considered as well. It would also be better if a summary table differentiating the different valvular diseases is provided but I can do that myself while taking down notes. I do find Dr Raj's humor entertaining. Thank you for this.
Great teacher! I highly recommend Lecturio. It has allowed me to master Arrhythmias and all of Cardiology.
Terribly "explained". Convoluted. Not simplified at all. 0/10 would not recommend.
very good lecture, good relation with pathology and pharmacology, thank you.
I don't understand anything after listening to this lecture hope professor could explain it more
Thank you Dr. Raj! Super helpful and follows First Aid like a charm!
The lectures are explained very well. I love the big picture and small picture details given, it is easy to understand and remember without having to memorize details. Dr. Raj is absolutely correct in saying "if you understand, you don't have to memorize".
Excellent way of teaching with high yield information, kudos to Dr.Raj
Information is presented in easy to digest chunks. Love Dr. Raj's jokes too!
Dr, Raj, Your lectures are very engaging and much appreciated! I wish I was using Lecturio during my 1st year. Thanks again!
I can not follow this lecture as something is missing in the graph.
Dr Raj is amazing! Thank you! I understand the concepts clearly and it's a bonus that Dr Raj's lectures are always so much fun!
Dr Raj is amazing teacher, the wsy he explains things is wonderful!! Thank you so much doc
excellent short, precise and informative lecture on 2ndary HTN. thanks so much Dr Raj!
The video is clear, the explanations are student-friendly. I consider it a nice introduction. I'll recommend it to my friends.
I would like to some elobrated explanation of imaging ultrasound pic
This teacher is really too messy for us to be able to understand anything. At least, could he write down what he mentions on the PowerPoint slides? He makes the Pathology class very very hard to follow...
Dr Raj one of the best lecturer in the world
Great lecture , excellent review of all the diseases shown in the video
amazing lecture , i want tobe like doctor raj he is my hero
Such a great and objective lecture! Amazing teacher and materials, thank you
Very interesting way to explain this subject!!!!!! Thank you so much
he doesn't go into details of the topic. For a beginner, I would never recommend this lecture
He has a way to pass on knowledge and it’s stick!!!!
Excellent lecture by Dr.Raj , i like it very much. i love his sense of humor
Very well explained, makes remembering the difference between the cancers memorable!
Dr Raj is both serious and funny at thesame time. I love it when he does 'hmm'. Fantastic teacher!
excellent course very easy and simple + covering the most high yield topics.
Ty for making this clear, concise, to the point, and entertaining. Please ignore the downvotes..
Ok explanation. Some examples and pictures to explain the topic would make it better
quite enjoyable lecture , love the examples and highlighting whats important
The best lectures I've seen on the Hepatology. Best teaching style by the faculty. I would highly recommend the Lecture series.
Using Lecturio makes understanding and subsequent digesting and memorization of the material, so much easier. The lectures and notes are concise and to the point.
excellent course. I like combining the lectures with quizzes so we can asses our self after each lecture. thanks such course and effort ????????
Carlo is an excellent teacher- he is thorough and ensures we get the concept.
He is an excellent teacher that help me understand the concept very well
A great teacher that make concept to sink well. Does a Great job!!!
Hard to understand; kinda disappointed and I dont want to listen anymore
I Like it because dr Raj was very explicit and fun, making the learning more enjoyable, about the topic its a very important one so its good to have it explained in so shortly time.
Outstanding lecture presentation. Very high yield information, excellently presented. Wonderful instructor character.
I like how he keeps me engaged and constantly asks me questions to keep me on my toes. I appreciate his jokes too because it makes studying a little bit more fun
Please take my suggestions as sites to improve rather than criticism. I have been going through Lecturio resource material for about a month and, frankly speaking, I was not disappointed by any of the topics except Breast Pathology. I believe this is not the way to teach pathology. Pathology, like physiology, should not be mugged up, It should be understood. While talking about the lesions, simply jotting down the points is not enough. I believe we must have labelled diagram - either animated or real - along with it which will aid the memory of the students, as in Pathological Basis of Disease. The initial lectures about congenital deformities were fine, however, the tumors seemed evasive. I could not correlate with my class lectures and textbook. I might have my expectations heightened when it comes to Lecturio, but you guys deserve it.
Dr Raj is brilliant. His lectures are fun to watch, concise, high yield and his expressions are captivating to the student. His manner of teaching makes you think critically and apply your knowledge
Excerlent course. All key points are presenting clearlly and I would recommend them to my classmates.
very good teacher, brings a lot of practical information. nice vid
Clear explanation and differentiation. Eliminates confusion and is concise but complete
This lecture is high level, OMG! With some reading and this lecture I finally feel that I understand the cascate of coagulation. Thank you Dr. Carlo Raj, you are definitely a great teacher!
This course was explaining in simple and understandable concepts. The lecture took time to repeat and emphasize important concepts
It was very helpful in terms of understanding and memorizing always love lectures delivered by Dr Raj
I love the domain of the subject that the doctor has, the explanation of the subject was good
I am not expecting much from this person anymore, but this is ridiculously poorly structured lecture. NO effort, no logic. This is simply horrible and unprofessional. This needs to change, or there will be no point in using the website, because he is doing a lot of important lectures that i have to skip because of how bad they are, and i end up missing out a lot. thats very sad. this is not what i paid so much money for
Great lecture as always, but could be improved with more depth into the morphology of how the QRS complexes can be either narrow or wide depending on the site of the block. Could also be improved through: - A list of specific symptoms a patient with the condition would experience - ECG interpretation in the quiz section
This lesson is very methodical and easy to understand finally especially after years being away from school.
Videos are short and simple and good...but some topics should be given in more detail.
grate lecture, I really like how Dr. Raj explain the topics. I never forget his classes
Well explained and with a. Good clarity. Gives a good chance to all medical professionals to learn in an easy way
Easy to understand and memory. Well explained. Thank you so much, Dr. Raj!
Dr. Raj as usual Concise + Direct + Very clinically relative = LIFE SAVER
I never thought I'd be able to understand dyslipidemias, I'd actually given up on it until seeing this course! Thanks, Dr. Raj!
I really don't like this teacher. He's probably trying to be funny or memorable but it comes out as arrogance. I think you should considering remaking these videos.
Highly recommended lecture as well as the whole Hemostasis series. Finally feel like I understand Hematology and Coagulation. Thank you so much Dr. Carlo Raj. Awesome!
The teaching is excellent and more from a practical point of view.
It is difficult to understand everything that the teacher says.
I like that Dr. Raj supporting his lectures with physiology and clinics, and him repeating important infos make them easy to remember.
Excellent, very detailed, now feel more confident in the treatment and care of this infection
Very well organized, high yield topics easy to follow, meets my expectations of content and clarity
the way he explains , dat is funny. I see some nerds didnt like the lecture, meh get a life "nerds" :D
His mannerisms and power-speaking sometimes detract from his lectures, but Dr Raj is by far the best lecturer on Lecturio.
not good like all other teachers here and the explanations shud be simple
Best explanation,Dr.Raj makes any difficult topic very easy. thank you very much Sir
Best ACS diagram ever! Clear, concise, and delivered with enthusiasm.
Excelent teacher , Very well organizated , All the people that are complaining that he speaks too fast maybe they need to study " Faster" haha , Carlo raj is one of the best teacher in lecturio
Excellent summary of hep B. Thorough explanation of serology. Thanks Dr Raj!
I decided to rate this lecture as a 1 because of the confusing diagram. If the diagram would have been broken down it might have been better to learn from. But having the entire diagram of extrinsic and intrinsic pathways completely filled out at once made it incredibly difficult to follow along. I felt like it was unclear and jumped around a bit.
logical sequences as always by doc Raj, very related steps
So much better explanation than our school professor! I really appreciate the way Dr.Raj teaches. Recall the basic biochemistry and then deep into the pathology.
It was a good review going through the basics, with clear picture in how metastatic disease occurs
Dr. Carlo Raj is not competent in all of that spheres, why you put him in all videos? Very difficult to understand.
Sorry to say but I don't like any of the lectures given by Dr. Carlo Raj! I cannot understand his language and the way how he presents the theme and he always lengthens the time of presentation. I try to skip all of his videos, unfortunately.
A very witty doctor. Im learning enjoying at the same time
Great explanations of ethiology, clinic and pathophysio is also explained!
Thank you for this lecture Dr Raj, it's now perfectly clear and I can't mistake anymore the different types of hyperlipoproteinemia thanks to you !
heparin...heparin heparin...thats what u wanted... ;)...thanx 4 all the knowledge we need on heparin...and great great quiz questions.....
Dr. Raj mostly did a good job teaching, but I would have appreciated a bit more pathophysiology and explanations e.g. for alcoholic fat liver disease.
Dr. Raj does a good job teaching and he does a good job of connecting the theory to clinical scenarios, but sometimes the lectures are not as easy to follow i.e. a litte bit disorganised. It would be easier to follow, if you had a script with some of the high associations with explanations. It would make it easier to follow. Also, there are some topics missing for basic pathology e.g. cell injury, necrosis and apoptosis. You should definitely make some more videos!
Best of all I loved it Tnx lecturio I am surprised Once more thank you so much. Big love.
Clear and concise with high yield facts Makes learning a pleasure! Ability to play pause and reply lecture sequences is a great feature!
Good easy to digest and understand the outline and lecture
Really covered a lot of the material I need, which was not what other platforms offered. can be just a tad bit more extensive on the hepatology and also endoscopic procedures and ERCP/ MRCP. also mentioning what is the gold standard for certain diagnosis when applicable would be amazing.
doesn't explain coagulation cascade properly in particular the complexes like the extrinsic, intrinsic- meant I couldn't not use this alone for my biochem topic of coagulation
Did not feel comfortable with the accent, way of communicating the information, way of pausing between one point and another. I am sorry to say that, but to me, and this is my personal view, and no offense, it is irritating
Unfortunate that this lecturer is doing some very critical subjects— unlike other lectures, for his series I found I had to resort to other materials to understand difficult concepts.
Dr. Raj does an excellent job in explaining the material and tying everything together. He will even be funny at times.
It is a wonderful video course . You are a really five stars course !!!
He cares about teaching how to understand beyond the exams, and not just memorizing
Yes, he's a talker and somethings lose himself in the lecture. You have to be focus in every single word for understand him and you still will be lost sometimes. But it's good and brings to you a great learn
He takes a little bit to get used to however once you do you will pick up the concepts quickly.
Explanations are very clear and the lectures are a good revision resource
Carlo Raj,'s way of presentation is little bit weird to me
Dr. Raj teaches cardiology so well, I'm actually enjoying it. Concepts are repeated and tied together so nicely with clinical presentation and physiology. Thank you!
I like the quiz after each section to test knowledge, it works for me
JUST CAN NOT UNDERSTAND AT ALL!! NOT EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT CLEARLY!!
The content is not up date but the general content is regular
I didn’t like the delivery. I found myself distracted all the time due to the poor delivery. The content is good but little bit disorganised.
Teaches very well. Very informative and easy to understand Lectures.
its very good but plz there is some videos without translate!!
He explains everything so well; this is exactly the kind of question we get on our exams in university of maastricht. It's detailed, but serology explanation is really helpful
Dr. Raj put all small pieces together in his lecture. His lectures are very detailed and he is not boring to listen. Thank you very much.
I like that this lectore repeats the main information so I know what is neccessary to know
I am studying for step one and I can honestly say, you have to be at a higher intellectual level to appreciate the teaching style of Dr. Raj. if one focus and pay attention to his content, one will surley pass step 1. remember the boards are not organized notes, its absolute integration. what dr raj does is golden
Great integrated overview of HTN for step one. clearly explained
Always enjoy lectures by Dr. Raj. Very informative and one of my favorite lecturers.
This professor is the best on lecturio yet. He makes you think not just memorize .
Dr. Raj's lecture style isn't exactly my favorite but the the lectures are still great quality . Having the videos with the text provided all in one place is great especially for pathology. Thank you
This topic from lecturio was absolutely lovely, this saving my life....Thank you so much Lecturio
Breast disease Sorry not to be able to understand a single word of this lecture.
Dr Raj made this subject fun! I enjoyed his thorough presentation and explanations of hemodynamic concepts.
This is one of the best courses I've seen on Lecturio! Dr. Carlo Raj is such a good teacher and his enthusiasm shines through the screen and makes the subject easier to understand.
Very concise and clear. I now can sleep easier knowing that the resources of lecturio are so well made.
Concrete and useful information. Explanation is simple a to the Pointer.
HE has the lecturer super powers, funny sometimes too, makes you want to know more.
A most clear, fun lecture on the respiratory burst so far!
I’m so glad there are lectures like him. Challenges you, keeps you engaged and wanting to learn more.
Dr Raj explains it really well and he has great humor
LOL. That was a hilarious presentation of a serious topic. I enjoyed it a lot.
Dr. Raj is obviously invested in our learning the topics. He emphasizes certain words or points that you pick up on right away. No boring power point regurgitation!
too many information that is too advanced slides were read not explained
It is different that Lecturio lectures do not use pointers. Only the Anatomy professor uses his pointer consistently. However, having the superficial knowledge gained by other review courses and coming here to listen to Dr. Raj Integrate and bring home high yield concepts along with asking and answering the why makes my subscription to Lecturio worth it.
I am so happy Dr Raj did tis with Lecturio, he goes over everything and answers the why. He makes the lectures very in-depth and relatable to step 1. After listening to him I don't have to seek any other resource to solidify my step one concept. Totally wish the Anatomy, physiology, Biochem lectures would go more inept and integrated for step 1 students like Dr Raj does.
The lectures provide the required information in suitable portions with good explanations. I can always pause the presentations to look deeper into selected aspects. The quizzes supplement the lectures nicely as do the articles.
Bcs he explained everything very smoothly. And I understand faster. And am happy to be part of this wibsite
Great delivery of PBC. one of the best pathophysio professor for step 1 review
The principal shortcoming is that the questions sometimes don't align with the lectures. That is, there are questions that are not covered in the corresponding lecture.
I enjoy Dr Carl a lot, great and clear and more so easy to understand. Makes medicine a lot more fun
linking the dots for you between normal physiology and pathology. Great!
Why is everything all over the place, Im not trying to have a conversation, jumping from place to place just makes me confused. Im not against joking in between but keep it in between. Im not having a monologue here, Im trying to understand and remember a concept that I dont know, Im not discussing something I already know. You cant deliever symptoms like a story, they need to be seperated so it gets organized in my head. Need structure.
wached pathoma and then went for this . explaiation not up to the mark
Because sir clinically relates all details. I like neoplasia. Beautifully illustrated.
wonderful details & very enjoyable teaching way - u really know how to teach pathology thank u
This was a good lecture- high yield, well explained & well structured
please speak slowly otherwise, your way of teaching is good. Thank you.
This course was great overall. Dr. Raj is very passionate when he teaches.
Jumping important steps of the explanation. He have the ability to transform something simple in to something hard to understand.
Please fix the subtitles, it is very important to understand the lecture !
This may be the best tutor in lecturio, according to my preference of high tempo, fast questions and high yield facts. He promts, even urge you to be your best.
This lecturer no matter what lecture he's doing is always a little all over the place- it's hard to follow alot of the times. The whole point of paying for lecturio is to get high yield information understood - not to end up more confused. What's more frustrating is this particular lecturer has done alot of lectures on so many topics...
I am a retired Ph.D. chemist with limited training in the life sciences. I have been studying the life sciences diligently during the last eight years and recently included Lecturio as part of my curriculum. The valvular heart disease section provides an excellent introduction to this subject. To my delight, I find that I am able to answer most of the questions correctly after listening to the lectures, even before reading the articles (which I do diligently, usually more than once).
he makes me reason first and memorize later, so it's much easier
thank you so mush it was helpful .thank you so mush it was helpful
thank you so mush it was helpful00 thank you so mush it was helpful
thank you so mush it was helpful thank you so mush it was helpful
He speaks very, very fast and uncoherent. However what he is saying is gold so you get alot of information in a short amount of time. Just make sure you note like a madman and you will be fine.
love how you repeat many times & explain clinical example thank you
i like it so much . thank you i like it so much . thank you i like it so much . thank you
I find this lecture is short, informative and to the point.
excellent review! I finally understood. All these concepts are difficult for FNP students. I think Dr. Raj made it easy to understand, to follow and it was humorous. Thank you
Great explanation of the topics, and sometimes funny, I don't get bored with this presentation.
its distracting to try and understand the words he is saying bc of how he is saying them. dislike
At first, it was quite hard to listen to his lecture but later, with the help of subtitle, I found he taught in an awesome way which helped me to understand it. He might talk fast but he is a good teacher
One of the best teachers i have come across. He makes the lecture so interesting and the voice modulation prevents us from getting distracted......Awesome teacher.
He cannot follow through with one explanation!.... He jumps from one concept to another :@
there is a confusion between cds and sylial on neutrophiles, overall it was good
I thought it was just like my professor very concise, with powerful imagery.
Great content, the useful facts are well explained! Dr Raj is a great professor.
He's pretty funny and has a clear lecture style. Very clearly laid out
Well taught and succinct. I enjoyed his style of lecturing, as he uses good intonations.
Please, remove these videos. Hate the "are you gettin' it" ..."welcome to ...."... "do you remember". Looks like a monologue. Really, I think that I wasted my money. I'll try watching another videos. But I can't deal with this guy. No mental-order at all when talkink.
Too fast-talking. No explanation at all, just shooting questions to the sky.
Informative! There were quite a few different things i learned from this lecture. I now have a better understanding of the disease.
Speaks too fast Could include more detail Pronunciation was a little bit strange
Great explanation, simple but effective. I just watch videos in hypertension in cardiology playlist. When the quiz pop up, I answer them all ????% correctly. What does that mean? The explanation in the video is easy to remember. Really, if I have money, I wanna subscribe for 1 year and watch all the video. Thank you for the great lecture, Lecturio. From Indonesia
un clear speaking and super facial tones. please use more clear speak
Very good! Helpful for repetition and revising the learned material! would love to see a pointer or a laser used in all of the lectures- it would make following along much easier. Thanks, Dr. Raj, great videos!
It is really hard to follow. I can't understand what the different curves mean. It is never clear enough. I wish the lecturer had been more clear about what he was talking about.
The intentional staccato speech is very distracting, as is the erratic affect. The content is good but the delivery is awful.
Making great explanations so you actually understand and don't have to memorize
one of the best lecturer that i have seen. thank you very much, the way he is doing easy to remember all the facts.
one of the best lecturer that i have seen. thank you very much, the way he is doing easy to remember all the facts.
one of the best lecturer that i have seen. thank you very much, the way he is doing easy to remember all the facts.

one of the best lecturer that i have seen. thank you very much, the way he is doing easy to remember all the facts.
efficient any very effective.its giving me easy memorizing the relevant facts. highly recommend .
As a Danish medical student, with English only as my second language, I admit, I had to spend some time "tuning in" on Dr. Raj's way of speaking. See, he's an extremely fast speaker, but as I did get used to this, I really learned to appreciate his way of teaching. Actually, his way of speaking kind of peaks my attention and focus, since my brain has to work harder for it. Thanks, Dr.!
Excellent review of the subject and presentation of difficult concepts
He doesn't follow through his explications, he jumps from one explication to another, without finishing the idea. He is very messy with the order of his explication.
Good good good! He knows how to combine physiology - pharmacology - biochemistry, and pathology seriously and how to interact with the audience in a funny way. He focuses on complicated concepts and repeats them many times to help the process of memorization.
Every aspect is accurate and explained well In all aspects
Every aspect of the lecture is well explained. Presented accurately . Every part of it is very clearly understood by all. Very good topic
A rare topic presented very well. It is very accurate to understend for any one
It is a nice prasentation with a prompt accuracy and clear discription
Very nice topic told very clearly and every thing is clearly underdtood
Comprehensive, but also highlighting the need to be absolutely certain about when immediate IV treatment is necessary
I appreciate the cues to help me remember important details. Thank you.
very clear explanation that will be very beneficial in our future career . Thank you dr carlo
you seem to skip over Ebsteins anomaly and it kinda seems like you're saying it's a side effect of lithium. it isn't. it's a CONGENITAL anomaly that presents in neonates whose mother took lithium during pregnancy.
The image in this lecture is not great to comprehend as its a little too messy. I like how the protein K factors were IDfiable, but the discussion regarding it mentioned warfarin too much... lets focus on the cascades here and the process, and save the drug and protein K processing for the other lecture on those specific subjects.
Dr. Raj has a teaching style that makes the content just stick. I sometimes hear him in my head when doing a question, and actually said to a patient when explaining "welcome to Sjögren's Syndrome" once.
Thank you so much for the lectures. This is pretty thorough and easy to understand.
satisfying. I am watching the lectures with enthusiasm. Great guy. Very helpful for the exam.
Muy buenos videos, tiene mucho conocimiento y lo explica de una manera sencilla que podamos comprenderlo de forma clara
Muy buen video, claro y concreto, me gustó mucho su charla.
love it i was able to remember the videos kept my attention
With all the rrespect the spoken language is blurred, I can’t understand properly, plus your eyes are focus on something maybe an aid material, it would be better if instead they were focused on the camera and try to explain rather than read. Thank you for caring.
I understand the explanation because he explains it slow and clear, also with very good clinical scenarios.
He is very good but for his accent. He made the topic very simple, Although the questions at the end does not reflect exam pattern of questions.
Me parecen aportes concisos y oportunos. El Dr. tiene un compromiso con los estudiantes tal, que traspasa totalmente la pantalla. Me ha encantado. ¡Muchas gracias Dr. Raj!
I am very enjoy Dr Raj lectures very clear' very good tips for memorise details thank you
Excellent course, Im understanding hypercholesterolemia for first time in my life, and hearing all your videos Dr Carlo Raj
The professor is knowledgeable and able to explain in detail.
The information is not fully accurate. e.g. Fibrinogen is not a weak fibrin, it is the unactivated form.
Lecturer jumps around, wastes time with unnecessary guff, doesn't explain the graph well at all. Incredibly frustrating.
I found the subtitle and the video is not connected at all. Because his accent is much harder to understand, we need subtitles
Watching the entire series on CHF was incredibly helpful. Do not let the first lecture overwhelm you, I came to really enjoy his lectures.
Lecturer can't seem to deliver a coherent sentence, jumps around in his delivery. Did not make clear that in emergency situation reduction in BP should be no more than 25%.
Great style, very clear, drawing useful links throughout and summarising regularly Really helpful - thank you!
Very strange pauses while speaking, felt condescending at times. Not like his other videos, he seemed not confident in the material
would be much more useful if he didn't rush and actually explained the mechanism of action. I'm much better off reading a textbook than watching this
uses too many abbreviations without explanation - for example, what the heck is EDV??
Not bad, it seems to jump around and rush a little bit. It would be good if CHF in general was properly defined and explained before etiologies were spoken about
One of the greatest lecturers I even had the pleasure of listening to. I love listening to this guy.
like it very much, nothing to say too more. His lecture is very easy to understand.
concise and dramatic. Simple presentation well presented. A little spice in illustrations.
I love the clinical application. It makes it so much more exciting to learn and remember because as Dr Carlos Raj points out it's not just memorising. I must say his way of speaking makes it even more exciting :) On a serious note though-mentioning how serious it is to act on dysplasia or when the BM is involved-we should be saying omg, and not looking at him. Looking forward to more lectures-wish he was lecturing the subjects to keep that interest and significance of the subject and our job.
Explica exactamente lo que es, me ha ayudado mucho para dar un exposicion del tema
If more stars are available to rate you professor Raj, and this course please let me know, so I can add some more, it is incredibly easy for me walking through the USMLE book by prior listening to your very clarifying lessons.
fantastic teaching with instant impact to improve self confidence and boost knowledge
Amazing explanations each lecture! Thank you so much, Dr. Raj!
Great lecture and Dr. Raj is wonderful. My only comment would be to add a bit of information about the pathogenesis tied to the different etiologies
Muy buena clase, es muy conciso y para nada aburrido, las actualizaciones deberian ser del medico.
I don't like Carlo's style of presentation. It is also at odds with Robbins and Cotran. The worst video on Lecturio
Explanations are fairly detailed yet concise. Also love the jaunty style.
Easy to understand :D Very helping me to study better and better
He is clear, full of substance without any need to explain but gives accurate description.
i dont know why but i dont like this lecturer in his slides here is lot of ontroversies slides says one thing and lecturer says another thing
I will going to enter to the world of pathology next semester and i really didn't think i would like it but this videos might have changed my mind, Thanks Carlo for this material
This doctor is always demeaning. He clearly demonstrates why instructors should learn to say phrases like "Some students" or "often times students will confuse..." It is significantly less demeaning than "You". Also, he ASSUMES we are thinking wrong "Why in the world would you?", "Don't do that!" , or "Let it go!" I never had it, so why would I let it go??? He needs to eliminate all these comments about how he thinks we are thinking and just communicate the information. It is hard to concentrate on the pathophysiology when he is constantly projecting negativity. Learning is supposed to be a positive experience, not a negative one.
Excellently explained everything. I was looking for alternative to Kaplan and I think this is it.
I really found the teaching methods used here beneficial. He'd go through the pathway and emphasizing key steps, then point out where they'll be important down the line, then come back to continue the pathway. The repetition helped so that when he taught the disease I knew why it was resulting in that outcome. Really a fan of it. Also, keep the memory cues coming.
Much good information that will help you in your clinical practice and your board perfect combination
Dr. Raj is great everything seem easy with him so many complex subjects and make him easy to understand and also he adds a lot of jokes to make learning so enjoyable
explica demasiado rapido y no señala las graficas para poder entender de que habla.
Excellent! Dr Carlo covered hepatology well. Thank you so much.
Excellent explanation by dr carlo raj. I have completely understand the topic. Thanks so much to carlo raj
It’s conceptual and easy to understand & just love the way dr carlo raj sir teach. Thanks
points out the important points and links with other knowledge
lacking crucial points about pathogenesis - egthe pathogenesis of cirrhosis (ie stellate cells), does not link key symptoms and signs with pathology, just provides a list instead.
there is a higher difficulty to understand english for non-english people like me i prefer other professor.
I absolutely love this lecturer. He goes straight to the point, gives high-yield and applicable information (lots of information btw) in a summarized awesome way. 5 starts no doubt.
Excelente presentación, adecuada para repasar conceptos. Gracias Dr. Carlo Raj, estoy aprendiendo mucho de sus videos, saludos desde Cartagena - Colombia.
its osam. i like it too much. its very helpful to understand.
I really recommend it. Really punctual and easy to remember, this was a really hard topic for me to remember.
the lession is very insteresting, but i think i could be explained a little better, showing and explaining an image of CXR of atelectasis, sentinel loop AXR. Also it coulde be better if hidroclorotiazied mecanism way of producing muscle weakness is explained after answering the question of the quizz, and the indications of the ERCP explained. Thanks
good summary for HTN, BUT I found a big difference with NHS guidelines for treatment of HTN Here you mentioned that thiazides are the first choice but there ACEIs or CCB is the first and best choice to start treatment of HTN
To the point. lesson for life, highyieal, we’ll categorized
Very well explained... Easy to understand and self study ... Thank you...????
Doctor Raj shows huge knowledge on the subject, but goes through some important and difficult points too 'en passant', as on details of cellular signaling and too many unexplained abbreviations (mpgn, e.g.). At the same time, quite a long time was spent unnecessarily reinforcing obvious concepts ( superoxide / phagocytosis etc). I'm strongly willing to better rate his lectures on the next courses.
Very great video, as someone probably mention earlier a bit more pathophys would be appreciated
this is an amazing way of putting things together, thank you so much for the nice presentation.
Good for refreshing ,anybody can review it once because , it quick and easy explanation .
Pretty basic information breast cancer, however he give good clinical pearls for different subtypes of non invasive breast cancer
The review was easy to understand with clear explanation. I also appreciated the test sample after the lecture. It tested my knowledge regarding the subject matter thank you
for those who preparing for exam its will be helpfull
its helpful and his presentation is quite good, but why physiology, Biochemistry, preclinical subjects are not up to the mark.please reset a new subscription option, like preclinical, clinical etc.otherwise i have to say bye.
He is amazing. He has the potential to be a good teacher for students.
He is the best lecturer on this site. His style of teaching is very powerful. He is not too fast, he knows when to pause for a second, when to repeat a word.Thank u Sir.
Lots of materials covered in a short time. Very good review lectures
This guy is AMAZING! The humor along with a detailed information is perfect and definitely increased my recall of the material. Keep up the excellent work!
I think Dr Raj is a fantastic teacher ! He is great at explaining every concept in detail .
it has helped me a lot...im gaining interest in the topics hes teaching
I am using free version and trying to see how good the videos are. So far all the videos hv been so clear and understandable including this video. Thanks lecturio for your great work.
fantastic teaching method, love the practical examples and slight humor, wakes you up.
I would like lectures with more informations suitable for post graduate study
I think is a great review because it goes right to the point. Short videos witch make it really easy to sit down and just listen to Dr. Raj. Will recommend to all my medical friends.
I learn so fast and easy all the most know arrhythmias with Dr Raj. He is fun, knows how to teach, blue print materials, great pics and graphs. I never learned that well my dysrrhythmias before my lectures with Dr Raj. Bravo Dr Raj! My grades are improving big time. I wish I had you as a teacher before. Than you so much Lecturio and Dr Raj!
This is the first time that I have a lecture with Dr Raj. Definitely recommend! He is very methodic and fun which makes it easy to understand and retain for your test. Also I love the quizzes in between the lectures that help you to reinforce the material so well. Excellent job Dr Raj! Thank you so much.
Clear as always. I like the way he emphasizes things. A lot
It is interesting how Doctor Raj teaches you about the basic principles of cellular pathology and carcionogenesis. Sometimes it´s hillarious how he spends sometimes making funny comments that are related a lot with real troubles in medicine and it is also a valuable tactic aimed to help the students.
Comprehensive Detailed with anatomy Clinical examples Minimum words Great explanations
Dr. Raj is the best! He is funny and he makes arrythmias ridiculously simple. I recommend his lectures for everyone!
Very good lecture about the MI chronology. The Professor explains very well what we can read in "First Aid".
ACCENT IS NOT CLEAR WHY YOU DO NOT PLACE A SUBTITLE FOR THIS LECTURE ?
Lecture well explained and illustrated...makes a big difference in being able to follow and understand...so appreciated!
I like the method of teaching of Dr Raj Learned alot
Always inciteful with the eminent Dr Carlo Raj. It brought very much understanding of the topic
These lectures are very informative, detailed. I learned a lot from the lectures.
Dr Raj is fantastic. It kind of feels like he is yelling at you some times but it is actually VERY effective. I never forget the things he repeats and emphasizes. I absolutely love all of his lectures
Very good information, great professor, explanations are excellent. In this course are a lot of repeating, which are helps to memorize.
Pathology lectures are awesome..!! Made me fall in love with the subject.. Thank you.
Thank you Dr. Raj! I have a much better understanding of valvular pathologies.
The lectures are pretty straight forward and interesting. I enjoy the fact that other aspects are always linked in Dr Raj's lectures.
Good and clear and Quick presentation. After d’avancement on futur vidéos i can beter express
Difficult to follow because of not using pointers(instead of fingers) during explanation of the graphs. There are no numbers of pressure and volume values.I hope you will pay more attention for the graphs and marking or demonstration using some kind of pointing like pointer or change in color during explanation the relevant part of the graph.
Dr. Raj is very enthusiastic of the topic he is teaching about as well as he keeps asking recall questions during the lecture so that the information remains stuck into your head . His humor makes the viewer love watching or learning from this lecture.
Highly recommend this lecture to anyone studying cholesterol synthesis (biochem/pharm/patho/etc).
Dr. Raj makes Hemodynamics fun to learn. He manages to take all the basics and blend them into a beautiful story.
Wow.. What a Wonderfull course! Actually, I have linked the short videos that Dr. Carlo made with other educational videos, then I read the articles for each lecture, It was really like I have covered all of the I linked the peptic perforation with celiac trunk artries Or GIT Hormones with Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. Thank you doctor Carlo.. from my heart really..
He's good. But subtitle please. Compared to other lecturer Dr Raj's accent is harder to listen
Honestly, it is a godsend. The videos are clear, concise and fun! Dr. Raj is passionate and amazing! Also I watched many others videoes and all are fantastic! I wish I got to know about this earlier, it would have helped me immensely. It has lectures from MCAT to USMLE 2 so all the courses are covered, never again I'll be stuck with not understanding and never again will reading the book become so time-consuming. The bookmatching aplication that it has is genius and also just makes my life much easier. I am using this program for my PANCE and it facilitates my learning to be more effective! Thank you all so much for putting this together! Highly recommended.
Thank you for putting it across so concisely but with clarity. I'm probably understanding pathology better than ever before. Best wishes, Dr. Raj and Team Lecturio.
Only been using this site a few days. However I am already impressed by your material. Perfect execution of rhetorical techniques. Especially placing things in context with vivid verbal imagery.
This lecture was perfect. I really liked that he repeated the really important information over and over and would ask you to recall information as well. He spoke at a good pace and was really good with giving tips here and there to help with memorization
The most SUPER !!AWESOME!!AMAZING!!STUNNING lecture that I have seen in my whole life as a medical student. DR Carlo Raj has passion and intellectual ability to deliver His lectures in a manner that I have never witnessed before with any other lecturers. combining all the important physio points with path.I wish i could explain how happy I was jumping in my room after this lecture. Amazing! you are always my my hero Dr. Carlo. How I wish one day I could just have a handshake with you. May Allah bless , you and your family AMEEN!!. I would recommend this to all the international medical students preparing for the USMLE exam.
So funny and easy way to learn with this man!!!Thanks Dr Raj!!!
I find his lectures natural and easy to follow. He tells us areas we must take note of and what we absolutely need to remember. Complicated aspects are broken down and summarised simply. Will continue to listen to these lectures.
Brilliant teaching method, a joy to learn here. Unusual to be asked questions in lecture to make sure we are paying proper attention. I like it much.
easy grasp, well laid out and proper delivery for passing the step 2ck exams.
There were no quiz questions. Spoke quickly. Good information though.
Very much appreciate his teaching style, but does stray some at times.
I like this video becaus of concise explanation on etiology, patho and Treatment
-There was alot of jumping ahead and then circling back to the same point which made what should have been a 19 minute lecture, took about an hours lecture with all the pausing, going through transcripts and even looking up certain references myself to complete this lecture. The whole point of lecturio is high yield learning in a timely fashion. I appreciate the effort done and liked his style of teaching enthusiasm, however there needs to be less going off on tangents before the point has been made.
Dr. Carlo Raj is one of the best teachers I have ever seen. He is worried about the understanding of the lesson, so he leads your focus to the most important elements and lets your brain to fixate on it.
don't" like it deficient im sorry Dr. Raj but this is my opinion
not good at all poor presentation lack of information sorry but this is the truth
most of Dr. Raj lectures are very bad presented (( i dont like it at all ))
Thank you for your commitment to medical education. I am sure that many medical professionals and students are benifiting in an enormous way from Lecturio!
Dr Ray is very funny and know how to give his lecture in order to make everyone understand the core concept.
Thank you very much Dr. Raj for explaining such difficult concept and make it so easy to understand. For everyone we don't have so much time to read and to cope with boring lecture.
There are many more symptoms of oropharyngeal dysphagia than those mentioned (e.g. increased chewing time, inability to form bolus etc.). Also, referral to speech pathology would provide additional insight into the patient's dysphagia.
It is summed up and easy to understand and becoase of this it is a great start to the arritmias study.
It was very usefull but the problem it has no much pathophysiology informations
thank you prof Raj for the good explanations, you know how to keep the attention of the student
Actually at the beginning,it was very hard for me to follow Dr. Raj and it was very distracting, but now I find pathology lectures as the highest yield ones.I should stay alert during the lecture otherwise I'd listen to it again and again to digest the amazing connections among various pathologies.
I disagree with the comment below. I think he is a very good lecturer. Clear and concise. Yes, he does he have his unique gestures and tones, but so what? It's just different from the traditional, not wrong or anything. I found his lecture interesting. I don't think he was mocking anyone.
personality of teacher fun yet informative learned a lot. I think that was ten words.
Very good lectures nice and concise with no beating around the bush
I like that the videos are shorts and high yield, but he is very difficult to understand sometimes.
Dr Raj makes everything more simple, it is a good effort you make to teach
This course is very well organized. I am doing all my best to learn from it as much as I can.
I really thought that the lecture was right on point and stressed the most important "boards" material. It was very well organized and presented! I am taking my USMLE step 2 CK in couple of days, and after months of intensive preparation for the exam, I realized that I have learned and reviewed so much that It sort of hard to keep it all organized and compartmentalized in my head. These videos definitely put things in perspective for me. Thank you, Lana
The way you explain,I like it,thank you Dr Raaj
Very nice and great lecture! The questions were very help recall the main points. Thanks!
In general, great deal of high yield information with god connection to other pathologies or other specialities of the same pathology. The problem is that sometimes those connections are not going smooth but like jumps leading to distraction and may be difficult to follow.Using techniques like light pointer or shading ,.... could be helpful . Thanks a lot Lecturio. Thanks a lot dr Carol Raj
He explains everything in way that is so easy to remember for exam and general practice
Superb explanations in hypertension.very simple logic and scientific explanations
Very funny the way that he explains everything, make difficult concept very much easy to understand and with high yield information!!!
He is really good not forgetting his sense of humour makes the lecture more interesting. Wish to become a doctor like him near future. God bless Carlo Raj. Keshvinder Singh from Malaysia.
Very clear and simple presentation Many exercises after all videos I would recommend it to my colleague
I can't get enough of this course. Too good it made the subject very clear to me.
great lecture. repearting important thing again and again. lecture looks like static but it is not. He actively ask something and waiting your thought to help you understand.
Very good, interesting and memorable lectures. Dr Raj presents complex topics in such a light way that makes it enjoyable to follow.
wow... physio, patho, clinically.. all comes together. It is worth...
Couple of mistakes were made and he sounds as if he is mocking the audience
Good attempt for explanation of such a wide and tough topic
He explains things logically. He is not just reading. Great for understanding the basics and answering "why" questions.
the tutuor did a great job but i find this topic diffucult and did not get a clear picture of it yet
One of the best I have ever watched! I recommend it to understand better CVS.
Excellent video! I like how Dr Raj explains every detail. Perfect source to learn!
Average, alright, acceptable, fair, reasonable, of an acceptable standard, overall underwhelming
Dr Carlos is excellent. I just bought notebook to ensure that I do not miss nothing from all the information he is reteaching me. Thanks so much for all those well organized lectures.
I'm a huge fan of Dr. Raj so this may be a bit biased. Dr. Raj does an excellent job of hitting the high points and his anecdotes are quite relevant. You almost feel as though you're on rounds or in the clinic and there's a patient presenting with symptoms. Video examples of the endoscopes would be awesome btw.
Dr,Raj you are awesome teaching skills better than my university professor, looking forward to see more of your videos. Regards, Raj Patel
This guy grows on you. He keeps you engaged. Not many professors can do that! If you don't "get him" I would say you don't "get medicine" either cause he's the real deal.
Clear and concise. Dr Raj has an engaging and interactive method of lecture that helps make this topic much easier to understand.
I chose this rating because Dr Raj explains concepts on a level that I can understand and remember, I love the integration with physiology that he uses to explain pathology - absolutely great! Thank you Dr Raj!
He repeats stuff a lot (in a good and memorable way) which makes me remember and understand the lesson easily. Plus he has good sense of humor!
Your lectures are exceptional, it makes reading the books much easier. Thank you
I like it, please make high eyelid question, I ll really appreciate it,thanks
The lecture was okay, but it did seem a little superficial or simplified in nature.
Awesome class, thank you for all the learning. Hope to see more lectures from this!
I felt that there where some details missing, Dr. Raj did give out the basic description of the majority of diseases, but if the videos where a little more complete I wouldn't of felt the need to go read and look some where else
Carlo makes the content interesting and manageable with intonation and examples.
very High yield points and clinically integrated , usmle step based lecture & concept making Thanks
This is a very good course with focus on the most important material. Furthermore he keeps drawing lines to other diseases and physiology giving a good understanding of the greater picture. Only thing I miss in this lecture is recordings of the different sounds you'll hear on auscultation instead of just mentioning what you'll hear. Great lecture
Good way of classifying the causes but missed out on defining the pressure (>5 mmHg) and potential treatment options such as propranolol, TIPS etc.... Also what about the potential complications, which would have been perfect to discuss here ie variceal bleeds
Missed another important benign tumour of the liver that would have been worthwhile covering
It would have been great to list the most common agents that could potentially lead to liver toxicity aside from paracetamol, incl phenytoin, statins, amiodarone, methotrexate. Also not sure if this would be discussed in the Emergency Medicine talks but actually working up the patient and what to do from a monitoring point of view once a diagnosis of paracetamol overdose would have been really helpful. It would have been worth noting that acetylcysteine most efficacious within 8 to 10 hours after ingestion of paracetamol.
It would have been good to discuss the use IV arantiprotease for the management of this condition. Moreover a little bit of discussion about the genetics of this conditions how it influences the disease presentation and natural history.
It would have been useful to go over the Rome III criteria to have an appreciation of the diagnostic criteria. Moreover, it would be extremely beneficial to cover the red flags
For example no mention of primary scelorising cholangitis, need for colonscopy after 8 yrs of active disease and subsequent colectomy if premalignant lesions identified. Also no mention of toxic megacolon. It would have been good to discuss the hierarchy of management in these patients
A superficial talk about an important contributor to malabsorption. I think it would have been good to discuss why we need to assess for the prescence of IgA to begin with. What the role of HLA is in the disease. Moreover, the importance of biopsy as well as the long term complication of celiac disease include osteoprosis, neurological impairment and enteropathy associated T-cell lymphoma.
It would would have been good to further elaborate on dx testing and in which clinical circumstances one would be more appropriate over the other. Also with the increasing incidence of resistant organisms I feel the lecture didn't adequately outline appropriate second line management. Also the error regarding PPI which was flagged by another listener
I think the lectures provide a quick summary of these sections. However, I don't think it is adequate depth particularly when it comes to management. This is exemplified by the management of oesophageal varices where it is unclear which management approach will be utilised first/preferred in the case of acute bleed nor is it clear when you will need to utilise TIPSS. Finally a number of diagnostic tests are mentioned throughout the talks but the audience is not provided with a basis to approach the patients sitting on front of them. As an example if a patient complains of dysphagia or dyspepsia what will be your first diagnostic tests and the order in which you will perform these test. I think this the higher level thinking required for step 2
No mention of ongoing follow up and grades of barrett's
Dr Raj is the best teacher in the world, thank you sir!
The best , I can't believe i couldn't find this lectures earlier. They are very helpful. Thank you
"Now once this patient is giving you such a history, what would you want to give that patient automatically? You give this patient something in which there is going to be relief from the chest pain. Correct? What does that mean to you? It means underneath the tongue anytime that there's chest pain, you place nitroglycerin correct? Sublingual." I'm sorry, and i really don't want to sound rude, but this is not how a professional teacher should speak. When i hear this i just get very confused, and i already have my teachertoconfuse me. Dr. Raj use this rethorical questions all the time and they're very annoying. What i like about lecturio's lessons is the fact that almost all the teachers use very easy sentences when they speak, and they use a lot schemes and pictures to be more clear.
Excellent Integration with Biochemistry that enables long term retention of what was learned in the first year of medical school.
The questions were a little easier than what is normally asked. Though the hyperlipidemia lecture was excellent.
The past reviewers mistook his enthusiasm for arrogance. You can tell how much Dr. Raj loves what he does, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier for us. I wish I had discovered this sooner.
Like it very much for education purpose very good.thanls for lecturio and the whole group for this
That was incredible! This just solidified everything from 2 weeks of cardio
So far the path lectures on my iPhone are great. I drive 30 minutes to school each way and I think they are very comprehensible even when it's this more passive learning style. They are perfect for getting my brain ready for school and winding down on the drive back.
his lecture is short & more useful good for practice study easily
Great content. Very intelligent and elaborate lecturer. However, Dr. Raj sounds very arrogant, particularly when he delivers condescending remarks.
This is an excellent overview of breast pathology. It is neatly organized with enough information/ parallels to help give you an overview of the topic. Will definitely help for my block exams.
Lecture is Great I would like to see more EKG 12 lead on step to read them Diana
GREETINGS; I gave it a five star rating,b'coz this is first time i m encountering such a review course which is very concise, yet so enlightening that u get a complete grasp of the most important topics in HEPATOLOGY .I w'd recommend these lecture courses for all 3rd year medical students in this part of world [ASIA].The best part about these lectures n personally which i liked the most [as i being a critical care post graduate student] r the ''IN USE'' criteria for liver transplantation like KING'S COLLEGE CRITERIA n criteria for prognostications, like charcotte--pugh n MELD SCORING. CARLO RAJ SIR REALLY ROCKS
Since December 2013, Several DAA drugs were approved by FDA. So you can update this lecture.
He challenges you beyond what you expect. Keeps your mind working and relating the concept at hand to other crucial points; thinking on your feet is great.
The professor seems to be an expert in his field however his speaks a little slurred and sound monotonic. Otherwise its great!
Excellent principles of cellular pathology; some of the pharmacology was very US-specific but that's only to be expected. Greatly enhanced my understanding of cancer, genetic faults and other cellular pathologies in general, felt much more comfortable with my upcoming exams.
