Orthopedics (MBBS India)

by Stuart Enoch, PhD, Jeremy Brown, PhD, Carlo Raj, MD u.a.
Orthopedics is the branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and management of diseases of the bones, muscles and related soft tissues. Since management of these ailments can take the form of surgical interventions, the field is also referred to as orthopedic surgery. Fractures, sprains, and other musculoskeletal conditions are often encountered in emergency settings. Thus, basic knowledge in orthopedics is required of any competent physician. In this course, the student will be given a tour of commonly encountered pathologies in orthopedics. For optimal understanding, the student is required to be familiar with the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal, or locomotor, system, along with the histology of bone, muscle and soft tissue.

Does not keep interest
By Jennell L. on 11. October 2022 for Sepsis and Septic Shock: Treatment

I think these videos were made for the medical section of Lecturio and then just thrown into the nursing section. She uses some unfamiliar words and more complex concepts and her lectures are just not very engaging. I do not recommend this lecturer.

clear
By Alaena A. on 28. September 2022 for Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis and Goodpasture Syndrome

I like the clear explanation and breakdown of the topics. I think the other lecture for Granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a little more specific, like chronic sinusitis and pneumonitis +/- cavitary lesions.

Perfect review of muscle and soft tissues.
By Mohammed R. on 23. September 2022 for Muscle and Soft Tissue: Pathology
