Day 36: Cardiovascular – Watch Videos and Review First Aid

The graphs were not explained well, really confusing. The presentation slides were not going with what the professor was saying.

Dr. Raj is very good. He is a bit fast and I sometime have a difficult time to clearly hear him. Your price range is a bit too high for retired people like me who would like to learn practical things like the EKG, endocrine system etc… just enough to better understand our doctors if and when we have a health condition.

Great course, well explained, love how he connects the physiology with the lectures so you can see how they are related.

Dr. Raj is my fav lecturer on here without a doubt. He's teaching excellently. I really am angry towards morons who have suboptimal Iq for med school and make comments about how Dr. Raj is bad lol. I wish all lecturers were like Dr. Raj, to be honest. I really don't like to see lecturers who try to simplify as much as possible. They're teaching like you're an idiot. It's not really unfortunate that people who have suboptimal Iqs don't love Dr. Raj which is fine BUT please don't try to remove Dr. Raj lectures and replace the old lectures.

Dr. Raj is an excellent teacher. He makes me wanna study more and I'm looking forward to listen to his lectures. I think he's one of the best in lecture and most definitely my favourite teacher thus far. Cardiology is hard to understand for stupid people no matter how hard he tries to simplify. I understand why other people don't like him. They want plain lectures where the lecturer reads slides only. Medicine is not for dummies fellas.

I have to repeat everything he says three times because of his way of expressing himself, I don't mean the accent, thats fine, but how he puts his sentences together for explaining something is confusing. This is being made way worse by the graphics and the fact that he can't point at what he actually means while he explains it. Also there is no legend to the curves that he explains.

I love how he explains why CCBs and digoxin are contraindicated in WPW and also review of how digoxin isn't useful for MAT

Dr. Raj is one of my favorite teachers on Lecturio. He makes everything sounds so interesting and fun. His love for the profession makes me fall in love with medicine all over again.

i liked it very much, sometimes the style of the Dr. its quite difficult to follow but nevertheless the content is good for a proper review, you do have to know the basic stuff of patho/phsy though

Dr. Raj lecture is filled with “dramatic expressions” that made understanding/memorizing information easier. Dr. Raj appears to be passionate about his work, making his lectures enjoyable.

Whereas I was at first put off a bit by Dr. Raj's style of teaching, I became more and more appreciative of his pedagogic method, soliciting and emphasizing the integration of basic physiology, pharmacology and anatomy in understanding and treating (the pathology underlying) clinical syndromes (of the multiple organ systems). Indeed, the process becomes very stimulating and ultimately satisfying as one becomes able to retrieve and integrate all the basic knowledge in solving clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The lectures are explained very well. I love the big picture and small picture details given, it is easy to understand and remember without having to memorize details. Dr. Raj is absolutely correct in saying "if you understand, you don't have to memorize".

I can not follow this lecture as something is missing in the graph.

This teacher is really too messy for us to be able to understand anything. At least, could he write down what he mentions on the PowerPoint slides? He makes the Pathology class very very hard to follow...

I Like it because dr Raj was very explicit and fun, making the learning more enjoyable, about the topic its a very important one so its good to have it explained in so shortly time.

Dr Raj is brilliant. His lectures are fun to watch, concise, high yield and his expressions are captivating to the student. His manner of teaching makes you think critically and apply your knowledge

Great lecture as always, but could be improved with more depth into the morphology of how the QRS complexes can be either narrow or wide depending on the site of the block. Could also be improved through: - A list of specific symptoms a patient with the condition would experience - ECG interpretation in the quiz section

Well, this a combined review of your heart sound & murmur series. I found them to be concise very high yield with a re-watchablity factor to it. very much appreciated your vigor enthusiasm gets me pumped. Some of the points you made were very complicated, i know you did your best if you could find mnemonics would be amazing and will push you forward. So far my favorite lecture here lol would definitely recommend your videos to friends. Thanks

He takes a little bit to get used to however once you do you will pick up the concepts quickly.

Excellent instructor! I appreciate how he emphasizes the visual aspect to help solidify the material for keeps! Also sometimes when I am listening while laying down in bed, he says, "pay attention!" Those little cues keep me on my toes. Lastly, Dr. Raj is helping me become a good clinician as I improved my though process in management skills. Thank you!

I’m so glad there are lectures like him. Challenges you, keeps you engaged and wanting to learn more.

Dr Raj explains it really well and he has great humor

The principal shortcoming is that the questions sometimes don't align with the lectures. That is, there are questions that are not covered in the corresponding lecture.

Jumping important steps of the explanation. He have the ability to transform something simple in to something hard to understand.

OMG wonderfully explained .He is one among few who gives us confidence that we would remember things till exam.

One of the best teachers i have come across. He makes the lecture so interesting and the voice modulation prevents us from getting distracted......Awesome teacher.

It is really hard to follow. I can't understand what the different curves mean. It is never clear enough. I wish the lecturer had been more clear about what he was talking about.

you seem to skip over Ebsteins anomaly and it kinda seems like you're saying it's a side effect of lithium. it isn't. it's a CONGENITAL anomaly that presents in neonates whose mother took lithium during pregnancy.

Dr. Raj has a teaching style that makes the content just stick. I sometimes hear him in my head when doing a question, and actually said to a patient when explaining "welcome to Sjögren's Syndrome" once.

Lecturer jumps around, wastes time with unnecessary guff, doesn't explain the graph well at all. Incredibly frustrating.

Watching the entire series on CHF was incredibly helpful. Do not let the first lecture overwhelm you, I came to really enjoy his lectures.

would be much more useful if he didn't rush and actually explained the mechanism of action. I'm much better off reading a textbook than watching this

Not bad, it seems to jump around and rush a little bit. It would be good if CHF in general was properly defined and explained before etiologies were spoken about

Professor thank you very much for such a great curse, I agree that it would be much better with cardiac sounds in real time during the explanation so our ears get accustomed to them, also the explanation should be included during the questioning section at the end of the video just like in previous lectures.

I learn so fast and easy all the most know arrhythmias with Dr Raj. He is fun, knows how to teach, blue print materials, great pics and graphs. I never learned that well my dysrrhythmias before my lectures with Dr Raj. Bravo Dr Raj! My grades are improving big time. I wish I had you as a teacher before. Than you so much Lecturio and Dr Raj!

Dr. Raj is the best! He is funny and he makes arrythmias ridiculously simple. I recommend his lectures for everyone!
