I would recommend to others in the workup of diverticulitis
Easy to understand, straight-to-the-point lecture! I wished I had seen this when I was doing my IM rotation.
Muy clara exposición y muy práctica. Sinceramente gracias. En general todas las clases de la profesora son muy buenas.
I am a professor of medicine and have used Lecturio to review areas outside of my expertise and see how others judge the depth and breadth of material felt appropriate for medical students that I do teach. My concerns are occasional factual errors and slightly misleading or unexplained visuals. However, the presentations are, overall, of high quality and very well delivered. Making more basic science-clinical science correlations and explanations would be great but also very difficult in this format. The case based presentations are well done. For students using this as a main resource, they should be sure to use the provided textbook recommendations and answer all the questions provided, not just those in the lectures. That would deal with all my minor concerns. Medicine cannot be learned with just a series of 5 minute lectures, no matter excellent they are.

Exceptional acumen in anticipating difficulties and nuances in learning the different concepts involving biliary pathology.
The information is organized, highlights what's important. However, I believe that some of the pathways could have been explained a little more. Overall it's very concise and precise
4.5/5 Excellent summary of most GI pathologies, perfect if you want to refresh your memory. Great slides and presentations. Concise and to the point. I would have given it a 5 if the slides were complete but that's more of a technical problem. Thanks!
Excellent but there is missing like your should express pathphysiology of important sign symptoms like why that particular sign is happening in disease then it will be a grear job.
I find the information useful and presented in a simple manner. The professor is kind and provides the students with logical explanations and tips on how to memorize things.
As a Gestroentrologist, I would like to say it helps to repeat the important points in GI system. Good luck and more success in the future.
top lecture very usefyl. why is it so diffiucult to leave reviews. trying to study here
Well, she describes diseases by very comprehensive way where we can use these fruitfull informations in our basic rutine. Finally, I am going to recommend this side for those doctors who need more improvement in both clinically and theoretically.best of luck
Well, it is very comprehensive and skillful metod not only for medical student but also for postgraduate doctors. I have learent more then ever I have tried im my life. Best of luck
All of her lectures are clear and concise, and the cases allow us to come up with our own answer before she explains them.
Dr. Chuang explains management and treatment well and provides more detailed information in the Q&A which is helpful for understanding and solidifying the lesson.
I love the details for the management of the patient and the lecture follows Step Up To Medicine well.
A concise yet complete presentation of SBP. Using a case to present a disease helps to consolidate the concepts in mind. Thank you.
excellent lecture. good amount of detail. high yeild. thank you
Little outdated information and less content. Can expand the explanation and add more questions for spaced repetition
I enjoy it a lot, it was concise, quick, and to the point. An HY lecture and a must. Amazing job from Dr. Chuang. Thank you.
Videos were Brief and to the point and I found quizzes helpful and practical
This course are good and helpful every medical student .if anyone are complete nutrition course I think she / he achieved lots of skill about nutrition.
I dont know why this is rated poorly. This is excellent and explained well in terms of symptomology and diagnosis.
Nice review, but I would expect at least 2 things: 1) Recommended daily amounts 2) Information of absorption 3) Information on minerals 4) Information on macronutrient intake
this is a clear and concise explanation and learning through cases is very useful
THE LECTURE INCLUDE All the most information about G I BLEEDING
Very easy to understand and great diagnostic and treatment approaches.
An excellent course. Simplified most important topics needed for exam.
The case was explained well and the reasoning for the management explained so it is much more memorable.
really well explained. simple and informative, not too complicated. management helpful
Very general video, I feel a little offended because of the low quality of the description given by the lecturer.
Great information, concise, and understandable making it relatively easy to follow along. Thank you!
Very very very awesome To the point, 5 stars Excellent doctor
90 percent of the stuff she says is written on the lecture , she does not add anything to it , does not explain anything . The lectures are very simple and not in detail , not good for med students
The lectures of GIT are very short and few, Respiratory and CVS are very good , And Other doctors explain everything more clearly and in detail but GIT Every lecture is about a minute or two And the doctor does not explain almost anything she only reads what is written in the lecture .
I liked the cases and the detailed explanation for each of them
Nice lecture! Very simple and informative. She has very good grasp of the topics and she delivered the lectures perfectly
Great format. Inclusion of lab findings and correlation to clinical presentation is so useful.
Thank you so much, It is very clear and I loved the way you explain the course with a case.
All of her lectures are awesome , she should make more lectures , wonderful teacher
I really enjoyed this course, clinic cases are so helpful when learning, for me it's the best way to learn.
Great explanations!! She tells you excactly what you need to know. Thank you so much Dr. Chuang
She is very thorough and clear. I appreciate pointing out the different etiologies of chronic vs acute mesenteric ischemia
I would recommend the Dr. Georgina Cornwall to look more towards the camera.
Great lecture, easily explained with a dinamic presentation and an amazing teacher
Dr Chuang's series is probably the best as she discusses cases alongside theoretical information. We are able to integrate the patient history and PE to formulate a proper diagnosis and management. I hope more formats are similar to hers.
It was a very good combination of general clinical approach and a little bit of information about the key features of each disease. This is a nice place to start if you want to sort through all the different symptoms your patients could present with.
Great explanation, great visuals pictures . Throughly explained Thank you so much
All your lecturers are excellent. I am very happy. Good revision.
She explains good and the material is authentic. It is helping me alot, since I was hospitalised in my recent classes.
Ok. Very good excellent benefits i love it so much it is so good
It is an excellent review. I really appreciate how she walks us through the steps for diagnosis and distinguishing small vs large intestine criteria. I have much more clarity now! Thank you!
I have learned a lot through her lectures, I love her lectures, she explains things very well.
Need more cases type question to boost up the clinical knowledge....Plzz make the kind of videos in clinical neurology module
this is the way exams and real patients occur and easy to understand how to apply the knowledge in real life and exams I recommend more of symptoms in other departments too like pediatrics gynecology and surgery
Good for concise explanation! I hope further deep content ! Overall content with it
The lectures are concise, straight to the point, and yes, fun. The quizzes also make it easier to focus, as well as help memorise important material. As with other lectures, it would be nice if USMLE style questions were embedded in the lectures for better integration of the topics covered.
The topics get into my mind in the first go
Surprisingly interesting and short course. Ms. Cornwall is fun to learn from.
Short and interesting course. Binged it in one sitting. Ms. Cornwall is a pleasant lecturer.
I love her lectures ! Relevant for the USMLE and fun ! Recommended !
Concise, easy to understand and relevant for the USMLE Step 1. Very good ! A+++
Concise and relevant for the USMLE Step 1! Easy to understand !
The course is concise, to the point, good source for a fast review. But more details do not hurt too
A brief but v helpful quiz in re-freshing the concepts...it helps in our routine practices as well...
Great attitude and non-verbal languages. You make those vitamins more easier to understand. I appreciate it. Thank you and keep going.
This material was delivered brilliantly by the course lecturer. I have really enjoyed the nutrition lectures by Dr Cornwell and look forward to future lectures by this lady.
Great lecturer very knowledgeable of subject matter at an admirable pace. Needed this in depth type of lecture in med sch. Good job
I find that I get used to her style, I wish that all the courses be taught by her
The slides and the lector overview we super nice form them only I was able to grasp the content of nutrition. I also liked the metabolic importance of the vitamins and the metabolic processing of alcohol. I really wanna recommend this to my lector of nutrition and those few peers who don't know about lecturio.
Incomplete information. I'm fascinated with the fact-based approach to the biochemistry of the human body. I like learning about the role that nutrition plays in disease prevention and the overall affects on human health. However, this course appears to still support the outdated views on proper nutrition and nutrition-related disease prevention. I feel that physicians do not get sufficient quality education on nutrition and that corporate interests still play too much of a role in both nutrition studies and nutritional recommendations. Today's healthcare system is more of a "disease care" system, and this profit-centered business approach, specifically with Pharmaceuticals, is doing little good, and in fact, doing a disservice to the overall welfare of the American people.
La doctora Cornwall presenta la información de manera concreta y comprensible. Te permite adquirir fundamentos básicos de nutrición, suficientes para tener un buen desempeño en los exámenes.
Very interesting. Maybe ratio of aminoacid tryptophan metabolized to niacin and niacin consumed with food is good to mention. B6 can be pyridoxine or pyridoxal?
Dr. Cornwall is really quite good. She mispeaks occasionally, but overall is credible and fun to listen to.
Very informative and simplistic in delivery. I eagerly look forward to the questions from this subject during the exams.
Covers B vitamins and Fat soluble. Pretty good. Lacks Certain vitamins: Zinc, Fe etc. Loved the nAKED mnemonic!
I'm enjoying Lecturio, the videos and follow up questions are ideal way to learn, the speakers excellent. I've spent many hours on You Tube hoping to fine something like this. I also saw Lecturio, is on You Tube and have subscribed yesterday having watched the Nutrition video and Biochemistry, also bought some eBooks that was mentioned in biography that I'm sure I will also enjoy. Thank you!
Simple and easy to understand! Covers only what really matters!!!
From what I understand, we advise patients taking Coumdain to AVOID eating vitamin K rich foods because it will counteract the effect of the drug.
not much details. its like a lecture for non medical students.
In this Nutrition course, Dr. Cornwall elaborates some basic nutritional principles that are essential for any student of Human physiology to understand. The way she presents the information is in much greater detail than what I was exposed to in the small Nutrition course held in Medical school. I particularly liked learning about the Mifflin-St. Jeor Formula for calculating Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); it literally changed the way I look at food!
The program was to elementary in nature and not deep enough. Sections on pregnancy nutrition was very superficial
