Pharmacology—General Principles (NP)

the lesson is properly given, but requires a previous base, which must be checked back in books, even that is a useful video and the content is clear enough .

I am going to stick with the lectures and improve my maths conversion skills. I use a calculator in practice because I always prefer to double-check my answers even if I am confident. Maths is not my strong point and never will be but having enough knowledge to be able to safely administer, convert, and do basic calculations for medications is all I'm hoping for in the series.

Concise and precise for students who have a lot of workload.

Clear explanation, and also the professor answers the questions clearly and fast in the forum !

I'm one of those who has to really understand WHY things happen. My instructors rarely go this deep, so the videos are a huge help for me.

Rhonda is infinitely better at instruction than any other professor in my nursing program. She also has a way of teaching that makes me feel that anyone can learn if given the right circumstances.

Rather than giving us mnemonic, I'd rather had him explained. I had to go to Youtube to find out what this means and it took me a lot of time.

I had pharmacology at a local CC as a pre requisite for the ABSN program I am applying to. I feel as though I didn’t really learn what I wanted to as the course I took was meant for pharm techs, not nurses. I have been so grateful for this breakdown from Lecturio/Rhonda. The space repetition flashcards are awesome as well and I am supplementing the cards I’m making in Anki with them :)

Pharmacology can become overwhelming very quickly. Just watching the intro video brought me comfort! Rhonda does an amazing job with providing a basic overview of the topic. Her soothing manner is what I want to listen to for my upcoming nursing semester that includes Pharma. To add, she provides a small quiz at the end of the video followed by a description box where I noted in my own words everything I learned from the video! What a great way to study by reviewing the new information as soon as I've learned it!! My anxiety levels are decreasing :-) Thank you for putting this together!!

I’m a nurse who retired a few years ago and decided to come back in order to help with Covid. I find the lecturio videos really great to brush up on previous notions that are a bit far since I took nursing at university.

This is a great overview of CYP and PGP issues. Drug biotransformation is a very complex topic and this is an excellent primer on some key issues. I hope to see more like this.

If you've already covered at school and just need to review, or new altogether. It's very helpful. I like the mini quizzes at the the end of each video. I can definitely say that this video series is one of the best. I like the instructor doing the video as well.

I found this lecture illuminating. I think adding an image might help to clarify the solubility issue: AH can diffuse through lipid bilayer, but is less soluble in water, so would become "trapped" in urine, and the inverse for bases: B form being soluble in lipids, but not in water. Thank you for the great lecture!

I really wanted to give it 5 stars specially because of the question pertaining to Fick' s law that was included, however the fact that Sir didn' t mention that all forms of diffusion are passive and the word Diffusion itself means being randomised made me give this 4 stars only.

the lecture could be better it was hard to understand all the curves.. and the answer for the question was not so clear

i think the topics of the lecture is not easy and it has a lot of new terms those need to be clarified more clearly

Too vague; I got the same basic information/presentation out of lecture. I was hoping for more clarification in these videos on topics like dose-response curves.
