- Take a licensure exam: Certified nursing assistant (CNA), Licensed practical nurse (LPN), Registered nurse (RN), Nurse practitioner (NP), Nurse midwife (CNM) or Nurse anesthetist (CNA), etc
- Become a Lifelong Learner: continue to take nursing education courses and maybe earn an advanced degree
