Med School Year 4

by Mohammad Hajighasemi-Ossareh, MD

The fourth year of medical school can feel as though it comes in waves. The year starts on an academic note as students take the USMLE Step 2 exam. After that, it takes a clinical turn as students complete rotations and apply to residency programs. Use this time to prepare yourself for the residency application process while soaking up everything you can from medical school. Afterward, you’ll be taking on the elevated responsibilities of a medical resident.
