Preclinical Sciences provide the fundamental understanding of human structure, function, and disease mechanisms that underpin all clinical practice. The objective of the DAS in Preclinical Sciences II is to develop comprehensive knowledge of the biochemical foundations of cellular processes, microbial structures and host-pathogen interactions, pharmacological principles of drug action and metabolism, and the complex regulatory networks of the immune system in health and disease.
This program constitutes the second part of our Preclinical Sciences series, building upon the knowledge acquired in Preclinical Sciences II, which covers human anatomy, physiological processes, and pathological alterations that lead to disease states.
