00:05 Next, low uncertainty avoidance and high uncertainty avoidance is another set of cultural values. So with low uncertainty avoidance, it emphasizes being flexible and adaptable. For instance, you get to work, you've planned your shift based on the patients that you've been assigned. Well, guess what? Stuff doesn't always happen that way. Versus throwing a tantrum, I just need to say "Okay. What do I need to do? How do I need to adjust the plan I have for my day so that I can be successful?" And then in terms of high uncertainty avoidance, it emphasizes planning and predictability. This is me generalizing. In my experience as a nurse, I know I like to plan, I like things to be predictable but I've also learned how to be flexible and adaptable because you will have a very hard time if you're not flexible and adaptable. We can always predict how our day is going to go and not only on my clinical shifts, that's just in life, just be willing to go with the flow and do what you have to do to make for a successful and positive outcome.
