We learned professional development helps nurses develop and maintain competencies, enhance professional nursing practice, and support achievement of career goals. 01:58 We learned that professional nursing organizations may have a broad or a specific focus. 02:03 And, finally, the benefits of being part of a professional organization include uniting with peers, engaging a contemporary professional development, networking with colleagues, and providing support to one another through mentoring. 02:15 I hope you've enjoyed today's video on professional organization. 02:19 Thanks so much for watching.
