00:00 Movement of the trunk is very much dictated by the function of these muscles. 00:05 And it's important just to remember very basic what this movement is. 00:08 So lateral bending very much standing in an upright position. 00:11 Moving to the left, moving to the right, we have lateral bending, flexion, and extension. 00:16 So extension is when we are moving our head, posterior, extend it backwards. 00:21 And flexion is when we tried to decrease the distance between our head and our lower limb region. 00:27 And we have flexion of the trunk. 00:30 Rotation very much dictated by some of the muscles, specifically transverse abdominis. 00:34 We can rotate in either direction by contraction of these muscles. 00:39 So thank you for listening to the presentation. 00:42 I hope you enjoyed it.
