    00:04 Now, after we've administered our injection, make sure again to lower that bed to its lowest position before you leave the room and your patient.

    00:13 Let's make sure we discard of any unused supplies or any used supplies such as the needles need to go in the sharp box.

    00:20 Make sure your patient is comfortable and then, after that, we can remove our gloves, perform our hand hygiene, and then, we can make sure we document the procedure.

    00:31 Now, many times when we administer an injection, we need to check on our patient and allow our patient to sit and for us to come back and reassess to see if the medication was effective and also to make sure the patient didn't have any injection site complications such as redness, swelling, hives or itching.

    00:50 If any of these occur, we do not wanna let the patient go home after we give the injection.
