Okay. Let’s get into attitudes,
what shapes your attitude and why we
have the certain attitudes that we have.
So let’s take a look at the
components of attitude,
what are we talking about
when we say attitude?
So attitude refers to a person’s
feelings and beliefs about other people
or events around them and the
resulting behavioral reaction.
So we really care about
what people think about us
and we care about what other
people are doing around us,
so it’s going to
change how we act.
So there are a lot of different things here
that are going to impact
your actual attitude
and there’s three that I want to
highlight that you should know.
So you can remember this by using the ABC.
So the first is affect or the feelings
or emotions linked to a specific object.
The second is behavioral or past
behaviors or experiences that you
are currently doing or
have done in the past
and that’s going to
impact your attitude.
And the last is your
beliefs or thoughts
about a particular thing that’s
going to change your attitude.
So these three collectively,
these three components,
these three main components will
really impact your overall attitude.
