    00:03 Serum creatinine is used in a mathematical formula to calculate an estimate of how well the kidneys are able to filter or the GFR, the glomerular filtration rate.

    00:14 GFR greater than equal to 60 is considered normal less than 60 May indicate disease but less than 15 is medically defined as kidney failure.
