    00:02 Depending on the severity of the cholecystitis, patients may be able to stay at home until the day of surgery or may need to be in-patient.

    00:10 But make sure you educate them about these all four areas of control.

    00:15 The treatment may vary depending upon the severity of the symptoms.

    00:19 The priority is supportive and symptom management of pain, infection, fluid and electrolytes, and nausea and vomiting.
