00:01 Would you like to know how to maintain and nourish your personal relationships while in nursing school? This is always an interesting topic.

00:10 Now, when I say relationships here, I mean, I'm talking about friends, spouses, partners, maybe even those you may be dating. Unfortunately, you're going to have to give them a heads up.

00:23 Seriously. Let them know you're about to start school and you will be busy.

00:29 You can always spend a full day binging on Netflix with them or doing nothing, you may not be able to go out to that party, but when you can, schedule time that's uninterrupted because they need it and you need it.

00:44 But again, warn them you're in school and you're going to be busy.

00:49 Now before we leave this topic, boundaries with your school friends, seriously.

00:54 But these are the people you commiserate with, without them, sometimes you honestly feel like you just couldn't survive.

01:03 But, you were not meant to do their work, or make them successful, or make sure they pass the exam.

01:12 Your journey is for you and if you have a true friend in school, they will support you, you will both make each other better.

01:21 They should not be a burden who forgets their notes, expects you to teach them all the content, or ask for help on every assignment they turn in.

01:30 This is not your responsibility and you're not doing them any favors.

01:35 So, hopefully, this helps you maintain and nourish relationships. Something to consider.
