00:01 So, in a nutshell, in this lecture we have discussed the lymphatic system, which is comprised of the lymphatic vessels, the lymph, the lymph tissues and organs, and as well some immune cells.

00:17 The function of the lymphatic system is to collect, filter, and clean the interstitial fluid and return it back to the blood.

00:27 Like the veins of the circulatory system, the lymphatic vessels are a low pressure system.

00:34 And finally, the lymph organs are going to play an integral role in our body's ability to mount an immune response against antigen.

00:45 That concludes our lecture on the lymphatic system.

    00:49 Thank you for listening.
