    00:03 Glomerulonephritis is an inflammation of the glomeruli that affects both kidneys and can be acute or chronic.

    00:11 Glomerulonephritis is also one of the major causes of end stage renal disease and kidney failure.

    00:17 Now glomerulonephritis can be caused by lots of things infection, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, conditions that scar the glomeruli like diabetes or hypertension or other causes such as amyloidosis or illegal drug use.
