00:01 I originally never really had a plan to go back to nurse practitioner. I was a older student, kind of a second or third career nurse, but I was working as an ER nurse and there were three other nurses in my unit that all decided they were going to go to nurse practitioner school and it never really crossed my mind just because I was afraid that I was too old. I was worried about how was I going to work and support my family while I was going to nurse practitioner school. 00:33 So I just made an agreement with my wife that I was going to go up there. I was going to interview for admissions and I just said I'd let fate take its course and I got admitted and I could honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. 00:48 I love working in psych. I love being a mid-level provider. The only regret is I wish I would have done it 20 years ago.
