00:00 A typical practice day for me is not typical. 00:05 I work in the intensive care unit and that means that we're never entirely sure what's coming through the door. 00:11 It might be a baby with an RSV disease that needs to have a breathing to put in. 00:17 It might be an older child who has gotten an infection and has sepsis and really is needing blood pressure support. 00:24 It might be a child with cancer who is deteriorating and needs some extra help. 00:29 So the days are vastly varied. 00:33 I like the intensive care unit because it stays busy and there's always something that we can be doing for our patients.
