00:01 I started my practice as an acute care nurse practitioner at Texas Children's Hospital. 00:05 And that was a fantastic place to start. 00:07 It's a large pediatric hospital. 00:10 And I started in the intensive care unit, which is where my bedside nursing experience was. 00:15 So I was able to manage a variety of conditions because Texas Children's Hospital sees the sickest of the sick. 00:22 We even get patients from other countries that are coming in for say, lung transplantation. 00:28 So I was really, really able to see a wide variety of children who came in with different disease processes, and work with some of the best people in the world at pediatric intensive care.
