AidUP Ukraine: Advancing Disaster Casualty Care with Lecturio
Fortifying healthcare amid crisis
The ongoing attacks on Ukraine severely weakened an already strained healthcare system. Lecturio’s AidUP project in Ukraine integrates targeted Disaster Casualty Care (DCC) training into medical education and care delivery, ensuring the healthcare system is better prepared for current and future emergencies. By enhancing preparedness and effectiveness in crises, AidUP supports patient care, strained resources, and the challenges of maintaining public health and safety.
Objectives and measures
To strengthen and increase the capacity and resilience of Ukrainian disaster healthcare, the AidUP project integrates modern DCC modules for both pre- and in-service Health Care Professionals (HCPs) while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
The following measures will be carried out:
- Development of digital academies: Creating and providing high-quality DM learning content in collaboration with dedicated local and international experts.
- Advanced learning technology: Leveraging AI-driven learning environments supported by learning science to facilitate content delivery, and enable performance tracking, and assessment.
