So in conclusion we have looked
at the divisions of the perineum.
The urogenital triangle
and the anal triangle.
We have looked at the boundaries
of the ischioanal fossa,
levator ani, external anal
sphincter, obturator internus fascia.
And we have looked at the
pudendal canal and the inferior
bundle that run through
the ischioanal fossa. We have looked at the perineal
pouches both at the male and the female.
The deep and the superficial pouches and looked
at the differences between the male and the female.
And then finally we briefly looked at
the neurovasculature of the perineum.
Looking at the pudendal nerve branches
and looking at the branches coming
away from the pudendal artery.
