This course will cover osteopathic diagnosis from head to toe. You will learn how to diagnose somatic dysfunctions or restrictions of the musculoskeletal system that can affect patient health and healing. This course will also review anatomy and physiology and how any dysfunction of the normal structure can potentially disrupt the function of the body. You will get a treatment overview and key osteopathic techniques that can be applied to treat these dysfunctions and help various patient presentations.

Tyler Cymet, DO, FACOFP

Dr. Tyler Cymet has been a physician in the Emergency Department at the Prince George's Hospital Center, University of Maryland in Maryland, USA since 2013.
He obtained his MD from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988, and completed his Residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Currently, he is the Chief of Clinical Education at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM).
He plays a crucial role in the clinical education of undergraduate medical students through AACOM.
Within Lecturio, Dr. Cymet teaches courses on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).
