The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN® exam) is the adaptive test used in the United States, Canada, and Australia to determine if a newly graduate nurse is safe to practice.
The NCLEX-RN® exam is unique as it challenges new graduate nurses to analyze and apply the information learned in nursing school. Therefore, new graduate nurses planning on taking the NCLEX-RN® exam require a firm understanding of the diverse topics covered during nursing school in order to be successful on the exam.
Recognizing the unique structure of the NCLEX-RN® exam and prioritizing, analyzing, and answering practice questions is the key to mastering the exam and gaining entry to practice as a nurse.
