Maternal-Newborn Nursing is a highly sensitive topic, which needs much empathy and skill. This course will help novice nursing students master the assessment and attending of a patient’s pregnancy.
Jacquelyn McMillian-Bohler is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Duke University School of Nursing as well as a certified Nurse-Midwife. She is passionate about educating future nurses and will prepare nursing students in a professional and effective way for their nursing final exam or the NCLEX exam. She will guide them through the different fields of maternal-newborn nursing in this course, including the menstrual cycle, what to check for in the initial visit and what to observe in fetal monitoring.
At Lecturio, you will learn clinical topics with a strong orientation to NCLEX preparation at your own pace:

Ms McMillan-Bohler is very thorough. I like her pneumonics and helpful hints. Good cervix (Goodells), HI isthmus (Hegars), etc.
Though maternity part is still under development, the ones available are really top quality. The professor is engaging and the way she explain is organized and beautifully structured. Keep up the good work! Focus a little more on nursing cause we do not have many good online schools on this field, and it is an exploding one right now. Thanks
Great professor! You can see she loves teaching. Content very well organized and balanced.
