Great, straight to the point lecture.
By Mariana . on 13. December 2023 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
I like how she breaks down the information in small and easy to understand pieces. There's no need to overcomplicate things like other science teachers love to do.
Very helpful
By Alejandra S. on 24. February 2023 for One Gene One Polypeptide Hypothesis
The analogy of the central dogma is the best explanation I've ever heard!!
Clear concepts
By Solomon T. on 17. January 2023 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
I appreciate the approach to clear concepts and road map to the subject matter.
Not clear
By Faisal A. on 27. October 2022 for Prokaryotic Transcription
Ms Cornwall presentations hard to understand with no clear imaging and orientation of the slides
TOO EASY
By Ive I. on 23. September 2022 for Gene Expression
It is too simple like introductory biology. We need more advanced molecular biology
Easy to understand
By Dante A. on 22. August 2022 for Ribosome
Great way to remember the three portions of the ribosome!
Clear But Miss Scientific Term and Details
By deleted u. on 18. April 2022 for Gene Expression
The explanation are cleared. However, they are not included many scientific terms and scientific details that necessary to well understand the content and to do well in the MCAT exam. In other words the content of that lecture are too simple for MCAT students.
Lack of concepts presentation
By Marcos M. on 24. February 2022 for Charging of tRNA
How can the process of charging of tRNA be explained if the concept of tRNA has not been presented? What tRNA does and then how it's charged. I am loosing too much time googling stuff. Maybe it has been presented, but it's not part of this playlist, which should be complete.
it were bery good yallr dum

By Jamshed B. on 04. January 2022 for Gene Expression
very good knowledge gained. Learnt a lot about RNA and DNA and messenger RNA
Topic should be presented in a better way
By Stella P. on 11. August 2021 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
A student could do this lecture and it would be easier to understand.
we expect better lectures from professors.
Hallow and confusing...
By Kazette Yuen Yu C. on 29. May 2021 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
This topic is OVERLY simplified. It needs more in-depth explaination, which she claimed to offer later. But this brief section creates even more confusion... Maybe it is better to do a PROPER introduction, or just cut this one out...
Also, she herself seems to be unsure and confused. I am not sure what her profession is, but DNA doesn't seem to be a topic, which she should lecture on... In the middle of the video she just blanked, and kind of skipped on some points... (That's not the first time or first lecture that she does that...)
P.S. The powerpoint is also not accurate... The coding strand around 0:52 is indicated as template strand... This lecture is quite disappointing, and frankly, a very low quality compare to other Lecturio's lectures.
It could be better.
By Jorge u. on 06. May 2021 for Elongation of mRNA
More organization is needed to explain this lecture because is an important part of the DNA synthesis.
Great content. A cursor (use of mouse or tracking pad) or infra red would be helpful too.
By Jubu L. on 12. April 2021 for Gene Expression
Content is spot on. And quizzes at the end of each videos are very helpful.
Hope Georgina used a cursor or infra red light to point exactly what she was talking similar to other lecturers from other videos. An animated video clip of how each or some of the topics would be very useful.
Not good
By Bünyamin Y. on 15. March 2021 for Elongation of Translation
Biochemistry by Georgina Cornwall is not good at all, she reads all the time and she doesn't even know what to talk about.
not exceptional
By Justin A. on 10. March 2021 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
She didn't talk about the template strand. the prof fumbled with the coding strand and im actually confused if the coding strand, or the tremplate strand matches the sequence of the mRNA. She definitely seems disorganized. It didn't flow at all.
NOT CONFIDENT
By Prathamesh A. on 23. February 2021 for Elongation of Translation
SHE IS NOT CONFIDENT IN TEACHING AND RUINS THE MOOD OF LEARNING
educative.
By Abdullah Y. on 12. January 2021 for Gene Expression
i liked the details and visualization. should have been there more mobility in the slides tho.
Not a good lecture
By catamic546@chomagor.com c. on 06. January 2021 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
Need to explain better as it is very complicated and confuses us even more than we were before
4/5
By Pepo E. on 13. September 2020 for How to Translate the Genetic Code
It is a good introduction for the following classes. It's not confusing, but more information could be added
Micro-Lecture lacks the expected concentration of information. Lecture isn't linear in nature or coherent.
By Neuer N. on 01. July 2020 for One Gene One Polypeptide Hypothesis
I suppose it depends on your learning style. That is, most of the medical students I've spoken to, appreciate concise and coherent lectures - Unfortunately, in my personal opinion, this micro-lecture lacked the fundamental high concentration of information that most of us are looking for - to take notes, and practice the spaced repetition model. Instead, her speaking pace, and vocal expression are slightly too fast and the way in which she attempts to outline a basic idea isn't linear in nature which leads the viewer wanting to know more, while simultaneously trying to ignore the off-topic rants.
Note: Clearly, she's qualified to teach - however, valid of a point that may be, doesn't mean she has the practical communication skills to do so. Therefore, this is not a question of intelligence, rather - communication and linguistic expression. There will certainly people who prefer this method, I however, can not recommend.
It's useful for me the videos
By Ivonne Azereth M. on 01. July 2020 for Gene Expression
I had many doubts but with the lection, I improved much better
Informative but sometimes confusing
By Seoyoung J. on 28. June 2020 for Gene Expression
The lectures seem to cover all the necessary contents, but it’s often difficult to understand the topic until I go over the video again for several times.
Very clear explanation
By Seoyoung J. on 24. June 2020 for Prokaryotes vs. Eukaryotes
This lecture clearly points out the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells in protein synthesis. It would be helpful for those who wish to briefly know how proteins are formed in each type of cell.

By MR. K. on 19. May 2020 for Overview of Transcription and Translation
the explanation is complicated it could be simplified more better
Each RNA should be shown in the picture like above

Video cuts before lecturer is finished talking
By Katherine G. on 26. December 2019 for Ribosome
This is one of the few videos in this video series where the video cuts before the lecturer is done talking or before she's done with the material for the section. For example, in this one she only discusses E site and video cuts... what about the other 2 sites on the ribosome?
Better preparation needed
By Katherine G. on 19. December 2019 for Elongation of mRNA
The instructor reading off the podium is not appreciated. It doesn't entice the viewer to keep watching.
Unclear and hard to follow.
By Marquis H. on 09. December 2019 for Types of RNA
Didn't explain clearly and concisely which each type of RNA was as well as providing its clear function. Additionally, it is best to provide the correct definition thus, followed by an analogy. Starting with an analogy of how the different RNA types can make the lesson hard to follow as well as, causing confusion in the actual definition of the term. This particular video was hard to gather information from.
amazing teaching!

Excellent
By Daren O. on 22. January 2019 for Gene Expression
Easy to understand...high yield information....great graphics,well done!
More detail at this level
By Mia Y. on 09. April 2018 for Gene Expression
I feel that the delivery is good but the content is not detailed enough, e.g. when talking about splicing, I think it would have helped to talk about what ‘snurps’ are involved and how this relates to initiation.
very good
By fawkeya k. on 23. March 2018 for Elongation of Translation
it is really good ,some hesitation at the beginning but the diagram is very informative ,whopple hypothesis needs more explanation.

seems unprepared and unsure.
By yang w. on 22. November 2017 for Elongation of Translation
Dr. Cornwall hesitates a lot, and seems unprepared and unsure.
Make people feel like she is reading the material and even not familiar with the reading materials. It is really confusing.
Thank you
By Saba T. on 22. August 2017 for Gene Expression
Dr Georgina is amazing. Thank you for making all these difficult concepts easier for us.
Great !
By Steven G. on 08. May 2017 for Gene Expression
Don't replace her.
Good OVERVIEW/REVIEW of the material at hand. Her pace is good. Her voice and expression and everything else is dynamic and engaging.
Replace her
By mina s. on 25. April 2017 for Gene Expression
Please replace her. Explanation is very poor, she hesitate a lot, and seems unprepared and unsure. It is confusing and in comparison to a lot of lecturers you have here, the standard is incredibly low!
