    Some gaps in management
By Hamed S. on 28. February 2017 for COPD: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Another great talk but again like asthma management there are gaps in the information provided. For example classification of COPD, which in turn influences the type of treatment is not outline clearly. No mention of vaccinations (flue and pneumo) and criteria for oxygen therapy. No mention of when you would not perform a lung function reduction (FEV <20%). It wasn't clear that only interventions that affect COPD outcomes long-term are smoking cessation, oxygen in hypoxemic patients, and lung volume reduction surgery or lung transplantation in appropriately selected patients

    Thanks you so much
